Beautiful walk!! One of the nicest things about your videos for me is getting to see so many places that I wouldn’t ever be able to see myself. Always appreciated
Wow!! What an awesome hike, and you two are hilarious 😂! I was cracking up when you were discussing the flies! The waterfall is stunning - it looks like so much fun to walk behind. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
In used to love waterfalls on our walks, sadly can't walk like that now so like to see your walks. We've had si much rain in the UK. The villages and towns that usually flood every few years, are flooding twice a year or more. It's been worse since they've been carving up the countryside to build HS2. All the water has to go somewhere from where they are digging and all the rivers are flooding constantly
I was holding my breath as you were walking on that narrow, wet, slippery path to get behind the falls. One slight misstep and you'd have been over the edge. You're not a goat Imo.. 🤣 IB hacking up a fly in the background.. 🦟😂 8:08 .. I see Spog's cousin. Imagine the time it took to gather all the rocks to build that little cottage in the woods. Great discovery. That was a great walk !!
Oh wow Imo that waterfall was stunning! I also love any old buildings and chapels etc..when I saw the playground at the school I was just thinking about what the children would have been doing back then. Just fascinating. Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a lovely Easter and I hope Izzy is feeling better. 🌷🌿x
That is a lovely park you found. It reminds me of the hikes my wife and I do here in the Smokies. That was a very tricky path to the waterfall, very wet and narrow. We would enjoy that hike, maybe someday we will visit. Cheers
IB breathed in a fly, you slipped and also ripped your trousers! Too adventurous for me but okay for me to observe. Definitely lots of exercise with fabulous views. You could do a clothes and shoes that you destroyed accidentally and a mention of tshirts lost who knows where. Rained all day Sunday and still freezing up here by morning but mid April is the turning point. Those narrow paths with mud are my worse nightmare, well sort of.
I was thinking thats a lovely walk id love to go until you said loads of wild garlic sounds like a horrible walk now for me as im allergic to wild garlic 😂
funny you should make that comment about the forsythia as it was named after william forsyth one of the founders of the rhs and great grandfather of bruce forsyth 👍
Beautiful walk!!

Enjoyed that , you were very brave it looked scary in places, thanks for showing us the waterfall from the comfort of our sofas 😂

Love the old abandoned cottage remnants
Me too! That was quite a highlight - along with the massive waterfall.

My husband and I love a good day hike . There’s nothing quite like that good tired feeling after a hike like that 😊

Good idea on the following footsteps. What a lovely story, too , about your walks with your dad.
What a wonderful hike. IB and his directions. Lol, that looked like you had ended up in someone garden.
Has anyone ever fallen off the edge there? It’s pretty narrow!
Not that I know of, but then the whole thing was new to me.
Looked like it was a lovely hike! That trail reminds me of the trails in the Smokey Mountains:)
Probably wind burn especially if it’s been raining and with the wind too...
I think you're right. It was fine the next day :)

Oh noo!! Actually, it was on the opposite bank and not on our path at all. I don't know how near to it you have to be to get a reaction?
