Just above the brown bone, rather than below the hairline

If you measure up too high on your head, you might get too snug of a fit. I like to measure from the widest part of the forehead.

My head circumference is 63cm, ive always had a problem with finding hats that fit me properly. Most hats just sit on top of my head unfortunately.

I got you man. My XXL sized hats have increased crown height for added depth. It fits from 61cm to 68cm.

With all due respect, you can use a measuring tape. The iPhone cord method is for people who don't have a measuring tape at home. I suggest using an iPhone cord or any available cord and measuring them with a fix tape, as most people have one
