That’s definitely a pro of the job - I love the variety and as you’ve said, every day is different! The poor puffins do get battered 😅 they will be back to full health by next season!

Great episode as always Chlo! You would think it'd be too dangerous for boats to sail all the way into the cove with waves pushing them so close to rocks and the cliff side? Must've been before the harbours were established? X
Thank you henny ❤ great point! It probably was quite hairy at times but the cove is round on the West, so would be calm if the wind was an Easterly. The cove is also really quite deep so good clearance for boats. I suspect it was used prior to the harbours though - maybe dating to the old lighthouses (1818) for supplies…🤔
