Thanks for sharing... I recently failed my loop interview for a Senior TAM position after 5+ long hours 🙃 well wasn't prepared enough. I use the same example several times and the interviewer said my example was answering 'dealing with ambiguity' but not the 'customer obsession' one well well... didn't come confident
    Good Luck all!

How did your loop turn out?

@@InterviewAt Unfortunately, I didn't make it through. Got that generic email saying AWS couldn't provide any feedbacks but few days later I received a survey asking me to give them data to improve their recruiting process... 😅 (I didn't give them an answer). One thing that I figured out is the shadow guy in one of the loop interview (virtual) who was the local hiring manager... I did screw my first interview (stressed out, trembling voice) and that guy was Shadowing it. Awful experience overall... just that I can work on my hard/soft skills more on my own and try my luck again... maybe not AWS though looks like a dodge a bullet

Candidate response was structured well, but: At one point candidate mentioned they spoke to 50-60 customers (not prospects) via survey, and later mentioned they had under 5 customers. Candidate claimed that the features unblocked 20-30 platform deals that were blocked for years, including Shell which was blocked for TWO years. A mid-level PM at a large org, even a spectacular one, can come along & unblock ALL these deals? What was management (and Sales) doing so far, especially if 800 lb gorillas like Shell were blocked? Something to probe further.

With all due respect, her story does not add up whatsoever. Frankly, totally made up.

Great content and thanks a lot for sharing!! One observation I'd like to share: At the start of interview, the candidate mentioned that she spoke to multiple customers to gather feedback but when it comes to the result part, she mentioned it was under 5 customers that they had before she joined. Won't this be a black mark on "Earn Trust"? Because 5 customers are definitely not worth to have a survey and enough data points for prioritization.
