Im surprised you didn't noticed The Dakota building behind you when you about to rent the bikes around the 8:30 time of this video. The most famous Brit who lived and died in front of that building was John Lennon.
I've taken many trips to NYC over the years and it's fun to see some places that I've tried out and others that I still haven't. I was just there a month ago and did Top of the Rock too, but did it at night. Also went to Magnolia Bakery. It's been years since I've been to Central Park, but its beauty never gets old.
This looks hella fun. I miss visiting New York. It's basically adult Disney World with a slight hint of Big Apple crazy and alley urine stain! (sings "Concrete jungle wear dreams are made offfffff!!!!"
Pretty cool how you can be on a boat in central park and looking in one direction it looks like the great outdoors and the opposite is billionaire's row towering over with their multi-million-dollar apartments.
How would you describe the difference between the energy and attitude in Wales vs. New York City? Did you find New Yorkers kind and easy to get along with or were they too aggressive loud and pushy?
@@CezandGazLots of theories. The mean explanation you would get is ketchup is for kids but mainly it’s because we put a lot of vegetables on our hot dogs including tomato a lot of the time. I’m honestly not sure what the real reason is as I’ve been indoctrinated into the never ketchup from birth. Personally I’d never use ketchup on any sausage.
@@centurionusa I mean, I'm about 800 miles SW from Chi, I didn't know anyone growing up who put ketchup on their dogs. It repulsed me the first time I saw someone do it lol. "brotha ewwww" lol
@@CezandGazit’s a weird gate keeping jerk thing, there burger places in the east coast that will legit kick you out and ban you for life also if you put ketchup on a burger there. The east coast is notorious for being nasty to people that don’t abide by their "traditions" the rest of the country does no care at all lol.
I hope y'all remembered to drop that man singing in the park some money not technically a tip but those people are out there everyday to make a few extra dollars. Anyway I really enjoyed this video keep up the great work and making great content
Thank you so much! We did! It was one of my highlights of the trip, we were sat there for about 30 minutes just listening - so I had to get it on record when he started singing New York! If anyone reading this recognises him I would love to tag him 😊
For terminology differences, we don't say "hiring" here when we "borrow" an inanimate object. We say "renting." "Hiring" is what you do when you solicit the service of another person to do work for you. For example, we "Rent" a Car, Bike, Boat, or House, but we "Hire" a Chauffeur to drive our "rented" Limo.
The bready filling for the Banana Pudding was most likely vanilla waffle cookies (biscuits) that tend to go to that constituency when blended with the bananas and pudding.
@@CezandGazglad u enjoyed it . I thought it was terrible . The lady at the Cartier store said “ you can find better stuff in Ohio “ . NYC is an awesome city though . I liked Vanderbilt one the most for observations decks.
New York is a great place to visit, but I would not want to live there, because everything cost so much. Here in the midwest, aka the heartland of America, in East Peoria Illinois, the cost of living is about 30% of what it is in New York. I am a 3 hour drive from Chicago, and it is the same there, every expensive to live and eat there, but once you get away from the big cities like New York and Chicago everything is much cheaper.
1:56 beautiful view

We will have to do one of the view points at night next time! Central Park really is amazing, can’t fathom the sheer size of it!
Bananas, Nilla waffers, and pudding. Yummy, my mom used to make that all the time. You can use cook and serve pudding or instant
Ooh we may have to try recreating it! 😋
@CezandGaz Yes 😊😊 it's so good
And whipped cream... you can't forget the whipped cream!

The best chocolate chip cookie in NYC is actually at a place called Culture Espresso on 38th and 6th Ave.
We’ll have to come back and try that place out!
I hope y'all aren't gaining to much weight here 😋 I hope you're enjoying your visit 😊
Thank you we loved NYC! Hopefully all the walking balanced it out 🤣

Try "CHIP" for cookies next time. Think there's one in Astoria, Queens
Also, Milk Bar. I know of one of Williamsburg Brooklyn.
The cake in banana pudding is actually Nilla Wafer Cookies.
Hmm I wonder if we could make it ourselves 🤔
As a Chicagoan I screamed when I saw the ketchup on a hot dog. Please don't scare me like that.
We didn’t know that was a thing! Why are Chicagoans against ketchup on hot dogs?!

Don’t listen to chicagoans when it comes to hot dogs and pizza. They’re out of their minds!!

Interesting seeing the nuances between British and North American English! Thanks for watching 🙂
Go try black folks soul food luv
They’ll have to get recommendations from locals for the next trip, like how Jolly does and goes to local favorites
We tried to go off mostly online recommendations this time but definitely! If you have any recommendations please do share them!
I feel that there are too many people involved. It's hard to make a personal connection. Otherwise, the subject was very good.
Thanks for the feedback, will keep that in mind for future videos 😊
If you're getting coffee instead of Papaya Juice, then you're missing the whole point

There’s a brand of cookies called Nilla wafers. It was either those or another brand’s version of vanilla wafers.
