Welcome to our 3rd instalment of New York videos and our Final USA Video 🥲
Spend a day with us exploring the best of New York City! We tried a Pastrami Sandwich at the iconic Katz's Delicatessen to find out if that price tag is worth it. We also tried a staple bagel spot Liberty Bagels, and it was delicious!
We also took a walk along Brooklyn Bridge over to DUMBO to see that classic NYC city skyline and Manhattan Bridge backdrop. We then ferried over to Staten Island and got a free view of the Statue of Liberty.
We wrapped up the day with the ultimate American pastime-watching the New York Mets in action at Citi Field. Experience the excitement of the crowd, ballpark snacks, and true NYC sports culture.

cheese steaks don't have yellow cheese ?
Good stuff, I still think wife looks like Jennifer Connelly!! You guys have to watch the movie "The Heart of Justice", which I watched in the theater when it came out in 1992, I was 14!! It stars Jennifer Connelly! 🙂
Try a roman burner at MR. hero's.
SO sad to see Geauga Lake park and sea world erased from Ohio History. ceder point bought them and closed them, destroyed my hometown. 120 years of history gone. I'll never set foot in ceder point again.
says American food and they go to an Asian restaurant ?
Great vlog well done👍
Enjoying your vlogs pastrami was my favourite well done 👍
And when you get a hot pizza, you need to let it cool down a little bit so the cheese doesn’t fall off
A slice of pizza for five dollars!!! I hope you’re joking. You can buy an entire pizza for $18 from thousands of other pizza places and that’s 8 to 10 slices.. don’t let yourself get ripped off when you see prices like that look at the store owner in his face and say wow you really are a rip off artist and walk out and buy from somewhere that sells a slice of pizza for a reasonable price like two dollars
In case you didn’t realize that display that asked you what you would look like as a pre-hominid human is just a way to get your facial recognition put into their database… You gotta be a little bit smarter if you’re gonna be someone who actually protects your privacy in these modern times…
Nilla Wafers
Akron, I'm so sorry 😂
Great review when i saw the mac and cheese i stopped watching and made some then carried on watching well done 👍👍
Oh lovely, I wish I had a bowl right now!! Thanks for watching & subscribing. Hope you enjoyed your mac and cheese!
Just subscribed great review that fish and chips wow well done 👍👍
Having grown up in NYC I never understood the attraction of a sandwich piled so high with meat you can't fit it in your mouth. A great sandwich is a balance of flavors -- meat, cheese (for the non-kosher), vegetables, condiments, bread. Making a 90% meat sandwich takes zero skill and honestly? I never thought their meats were all that special. I ate at Katz's once and never returned. It's over-priced tourist fare.
Who the hell orders a fried cheese cake without dipping sauce?? I guess the same barbarian who bites her food in the middle! 😮
you brits are weird about food. due to you all being british, I realize your taste buds are bland, but just eat. how must everything be about "sweet" "heavy" "calories". your'e on vacation, enjoy and you can burn off the calories when your'e back in your country. geeeesh.
Yup, love Brits coming to America to say the servings are too big, the additives are so chemically, and the ingredients are so unhealthy. Please, feel free to come back anytime.
You rode Steel Vengeance, but not Maverick? Huge mistake.
I absolutely do not like fatty meat. I've tried to appreciate pastrami, roast beef, prime rib, brisket...but it is an automatic response to the fat in my mouth. Oh well, I either spend a lot of time cutting fat off the meat, or I eat very lean meat. I love onion bagels with cream cheese, red onion, smoked salmon (lox) and capers if they have them.
she comes to America to eat healthy. you're on vacation, have fun and enjoy. our food is always good. always.
Pocono is pronounced Poe-Kuh-No.
1:56 beautiful view
I truly wish it was as good in the states. In missouri it's all small bakeries and gas stations, no coffee shops or restaurants.
Kosher food tastes better than unkosher food. KATZ IS TOTALLY UNKOSHER
how much you paid for that?
Did you tip the meat cutter? That's required!
I had a feline you go to katz, and hope the sarnie was a brits of alright, and didn't leave you in a picture?! I really want to go there and go back to the city that's all new york to me! I am fascinated by what was british america and wonder if in 1776 the colonists said to the king bye george?!
It was 1783 when New Yorkers said goodbye to the British losers.
@@RonGerstein Yes your right the british are losers, but on a plus we did get burger king, krispy kremes and m and m's out of it, but is that not right that it's all new yorkers to them, that they abstained from the independence vote Personally i felt sorry for king george as he had bi polar, and the colonist were giving him a hardtime.
not worth it
That McDonald's is right around the corner from my house lol
When you eat cornbread, you must put loads of butter on it, without the butter it can be a little dry, with the butter it is really good. When you eat a corndog, you eat it with mustard on it, that is how most Americans eat them. The cheese on a stick is for the tourists. I do like corndogs, I have some in the freezer right now, they are for lunch, or as a snack.
I am in Illinois, and I have never heard of Swensons in my life. The drive-in places where you eat in your car we have are Sonic, and A&W. The girl who got the fried cheesecake said how American, I am a 65 year old American man, born and raised in Peoria Illinois, and I am about as American as it gets, and I have never had fried cheesecake in my life. I have had the New York cheesecake, that you can get at Walmart or Kroger, but that is about it. And I love Jersey Mike's, they are the best, and much better than Subway. I get the #9 on Wheat and it is really good.
Now that is a first, I never saw anyone put coleslaw on Texas Toast in my life.
The bitting in the middle is making me so mad 😂😂😂
Wow, the prices on those M&M's was crazy, $9.49 for a 1/2 lb. bag, that is only 8 ounces. I just bought a 10 oz. bag of M&M's yesterday here in Washington Illinois for $4.90 at walmart. They really rob you at that M&M store, their prices are more than double what they are at any Walmart or Dollar General store in America. I think they are even a litte cheaper than $4.90 at the Dollar Ganeral, and if you use the $25 for $20 coupon they give out, you save even more money. I usually buy a couple bags of $1.00 candy at Dollar General, then I get the $25 for $20 coupon, and then I go back on the coupon day, usually a few days later on a Saturday, and I load up on $25 in candy, paper towels, etc. and I get $25 in stuff for $20.
I used to get 1 pound for 1 dollar when I was a kid on Fridays for monster movie night.
Ok....I didn't eat lunch and I am drooling.....sorry have to end the watch LOL But i thumbs up!!
We get the same kind of thing here in michigan - maybe not as good as Katz but huge sandwiches packed with meet. The problem i have is that 20 slices of meat doesn't taste better than one or two, and its not super good value either. I'd rather have sandwiches with a few slices of meat that cost a couple of bucks. But the stores here want as much per transaction as they can get ... although maybe Katz is an exception as kind of a tradition?
Not to be a downer on your great trip but you have no idea how dangerous that suitcase sitting in the back seat is. If you had to make an emergency stop that suitcase would be a flying missile going forward to the driver and passenger.
It was an empty suitcase, the airline broke one of ours so we had to buy a new one
@@CezandGaz Maybe more dangerous empty as it would fly harder and faster. I guess the law of physics come into play here. Just acting like your parents-HA!
If you're getting coffee instead of Papaya Juice, then you're missing the whole point
How would you describe the difference between the energy and attitude in Wales vs. New York City? Did you find New Yorkers kind and easy to get along with or were they too aggressive loud and pushy?
Rachel in that dress…OMG…..
Great vid! Nice job Wales!😊
Swensons is GREAT! I always order the Gallyboy. I live between Cleveland and Akron, and have a Swensons about a mile away from my home.
The best chocolate chip cookie in NYC is actually at a place called Culture Espresso on 38th and 6th Ave.
We’ll have to come back and try that place out!
The cake in banana pudding is actually Nilla Wafer Cookies.
Hmm I wonder if we could make it ourselves 🤔
It's not a proper New York bagel if it's properly cut through.
I see. Then I change my score to 10/10 😁
Use more syrup.
Favourite has to be Katz 👍 great vlog BTW
Thanks Tim!
happy birthday
Thank you!
Pretty cool how you can be on a boat in central park and looking in one direction it looks like the great outdoors and the opposite is billionaire's row towering over with their multi-million-dollar apartments.
