Daniel's and Sebs careers have gone a weirdly similar way, considering how different they are, Daniel was just unlucky to miss the super dominant rb years. Renault as a team even is a lot like ferrari, only on a smaller scale: Big money, big aspirations, a lot of glory, prestige and history, but chronically underperforming for over a decade now
His explanation for being the "happy guy" and how sometimes he needs to be the one to help lift the team even if he's down is a great example of leadership. I wish him the best at McLaren.

My favourite moment with him is when he made Norris cry with laughter during a post race interview and everyone was confused as to why Norris was laughing

I am an American biker/hiker/backpacker and had never thought once about F1 racing. This fella, is the one main reason I became a fan of this sport, solely because I realized that they're so much more to this sport then money and fast cars. I think I may have watched an interview with him a while back and realized that there were two seasons on Netflix so I decided to watch. I was absolutely blown away by the caliber of excellence this sport holds. Needless to say I was overwhelmed with the rush and excitement, and myself, my wife, my best bud and his wife plan to be in Austin for 2020. Congratulations on 10 years Daniel Ricciardo, and best of luck in years to come.

Daniel Ricciardo is probably why F1 has grown and not shrunk in recent years. He's a brand ambassador for the sport. Not my favorite driver, but mad respect for him as a driver.

It's great to see how Will is able to make every person he interviews feel at ease. He never sticks to usual stuff, gets a real interest into who the other people are, their mindset, their behaviour, some little things other pundits don't see or ask. You might say that things are easier with such an open-minded guy like Daniel, but few years ago Will had an interview with Kimi and that was one of the few occasions where Kimi smiled and laugh very often during that interview. Daniel Ricciardo is probably why F1 has grown and not shrunk in recent years. He's a brand ambassador for the sport. Not my favorite driver, but mad respect for him as a driver.
This is what we need, in depth interview with the Drivers. I hope there are more drivers will be involved in this video

It's great to see how Will is able to make every person he interviews feel at ease. He never sticks to usual stuff, gets a real interest into who the other people are, their mindset, their behaviour, some little things other pundits don't see or ask. You might say that things are easier with such an open-minded guy like Daniel, but few years ago Will had an interview with Kimi and that was one of the few occasions where Kimi smiled and laugh very often during that interview. We need guys like Will and I feel like everyone is unanimous about his talent.

@@dampaul13 You know how the saying goes: "You can't please everyone." It also makes me wonder, why did she bother watching this video? Why did she find the need to say that? For me, if there's something I dislike, I just ignore it and move on. It's not healthy to focus on what looks like obsessive hatred. Everyone has the freedom to speak their mind, but we should consider how these words may impact other people before we say them. Honestly, you're bound to meet people who are rude, and who you will have disagreements with. That's okay, I mean hey, that's life. We may even learn from them. It's experience. But the world sure could use a little more understanding, civility and respect. Daniel is an inspiration to a lot of people, for sure. But he is in a very competitive sport and is bound to have some haters here and there. I for one love and respect him, and I don't need people giving me negative opinions about him.
