any bluetooth / usb controller will work. I have tested the nvidia shield controller as well as the Xbox one controller
Can this sd card be backup/copy on to another drive? just incase something goes wrong? with the kids pushing buttons and playing with in settings just don't want to lose this cool little set up/ product i have lost set ups in the past darn kids 😅😂

Just buy cheap laptop and buy yourself a 64 gig or 128 usb stick tgen install batocera boot into batocera install roms and you are set

Is there no way to just play these on a smart tv WITHOUT needing an android tv box or Nvidia shield? I am pretty sure that most people that come here are looking to do just that.
If your TV runs Android, then you can install the apps directly on there. Please note that most TV's are severely under powered and will struggle to run anything past the 8bit era
