every youtuber was saying finality cause Adventurine mentioned it but I do feel like everyone was downplaying the blackhole bg. thanks for the fun video

Fun fact; Acheron's JP name is Yomi, which is also a reference to the Netherworld in japanese mythos. Add the fact that her splash art have an parasol and red flowers that look similar to Red Spider Lilies that represent death.
While she being an Emanetor of Nihility is close posibility, it's possible that she also have Finality-based abilities as well. In the HSR world, Terminus, the Aeon that travels backwards in time and is possible that could also be connected with Acheron's memory issues, she sees the world non-linear and her view of time is skewed. Meaning that the first time that the TB meet Acheron in the "dream" was actually the last.
Another interesing that I found about Acheron is that she made a reference about Freebas to Stelle as "someone that stood shoulder to shoulder". While with Caelus is different, she said that she remembers someone that crosses blade with, which is weird. Both Trailbrazers's gender could be a reference to Freebas's fate (?)
Long story short; is possible that Acheron have the power of two Paths. As the Emanetor of Nihility and the Pathsrider of Finality. Plus bonus, an follower of the Hunt path as Galaxy Ranger.
I don't play HSR, but I love the lore and it's story. So this theory was interesing.

Actually Acheron is only called Acheron in the "western" languages . Her name Yomi in the JP refers to the same kanji as the chinese version (which btw hsr is made by a CN company therefore CN should be considered the de facto original version) . I am not sure why they did this but both Acheron and yomi refers to the netherworld in someways. Acheron is actually an alternative used in place of the river styx in some mythos.
Another information: If you play as Stelle (Female Trailblazer), she referred to Kiana Kaslana (Main MC of Honkai impact 3rd), also the best friend of Raiden Mei. But if you play as Cealus (Male Trailblazer), she referred to Kevin Kaslana (Male version of Kiana) also the strongest warrior of Honkai Impact 3rd. Both Kiana and Kevin have a connection to Raiden Mei in HI3 (Acheron is Raiden Mei expy in HSR)

the reason why we have trouble in the check in is because the express already reply who will come.
for those who hasn't reply but come with the music box invitation, they can just enter as long as they provide name and faction. that's why in the TGA trailer acheron was asked her name and faction when she arrived in penacony.
the invitation is just a music box, it doesn't include names nor factions. so whoever has their hand on the music box can pretty much check in with no problem.
See, the thing is. In a past livestream, didn't they also mention that Acheron got invited by The Family? Unless dev is forgetting their own story, I wouldn't put much thought into "trailers" that didn't make it into the actual quest, cutscene etc.

This made me think shes an emanator of finality and her connection to the nihility is like the diver set mentioned. Only instead, she uses the path of finality to save Freebas (but this may have backfired or Freebas doesnt remember Acheron at all after the rescue.)
The emanator of nihility idea means her sword only creates annihilation of everything around her, but pathstriding finality explains her the ability to hone in on a single subject to save, but everything around them will vanish.
The blood debt gives me fullmetal alchemist vibes. Acheron can bring something back, but at what cost? Is the person the same? How many people will it cost to bring back one person? Is it ACTUALLY even possible to bring back the dead or is it all fake? Maybe it costs Acheron her own memories?
Or. Maybe Acheron is Freebas and she brought herself back from the void, but doesn't remember. Only the sword remembers.
Really love the sword theory, personally I think that her inner self is a finality emanator like how she always gets her way in the end you can't tell her no and it seems like she dealt with the everflame mansion with ease since she isn't really ever tired. The big thing being she still cares about not saving firefly even though she didn't which makes me think she can't be destruction or nihility

Would be the first time a Mei would be Finality as All.Previous versions she was.Origin wyhly Kiana was Finality im both GGZ and Honkai Impact the third Mei was the Herrscher of Origin or in GGZ case goddesss of Origin
when we are still on the journey to penacony we met acheron for the first time in a dream and in that dream acheron seems to be already familiar with penacony as she is the one who guide trailblazer and teach us how to walk in wall but in the penacony quest she seems suprised when black swan used that yellow thingy to walk on the wall and she is not even familiar with the reverie hotel. so my theory is that when acheron saved her friend from falling to the black hole she entered inside the blackhole and then entered tesseract or the fifth dimension where we can move not only 3 direction in space but also in time just like in the movie interstellar when copper entered gargantua he goes to tesseract and is able to communicate to her daughter in past so my theory is that when acheron entered IX the nihillity she also entered tesseract and gain the ability to move backward in time and that would explain how the future acheron is able to meet trailbazer and guide us when we are still on the journey to penacony (pardon my english im not a native speaker)
Oh, absolutely. This reminds me of a movie called Interstellar, where the main character basically went into a black hole and discovered the 4th dimension which is time, which made him see time in a non-linear fashion.

Black Swan confirmed that Duke Inferno is dead, but maybe it wasn't Acheron who killed him, as she didn't confirm that it was done by Acheron.

firefly has met both acheron and blackswan who introduced themself as galaxy ranger and memokeeper.
sam and firefly worked together remember, before sam "supposedly" betrayed firefly.
Except, Black Swan never introduced herself to Firefly. She rescued MC and Firefly, yes, but when MC woke up and Black Swan introduced herself, Firefly wasn't there.

Personally I believe that acheron or at least her red counterpart believes in the path of finality. The fact that the finality is mentioned indicate that the finality will have some influence on the story I haven't bin to a single writing class but at Least know about chekhov's gun that stands out to me even more because to my knowledge the only other time the finality is reference is in a loading scree so it suddenly being brought up like this out of nowhere means in my mind that the finality has some connection to acheron but with what the idea of acheron losing someone close to XI would make her fatalistic and with the fact this second person lives in the blade something ment to kill it may have adopted the mindset everything will die eventually so what the point caring about others safety meaning if she let her blade out when the meme attacked most likely everyone besides black swan would be killed as collateral that may also explain why in her splash art a monsters corpse layers besides her her red self just absolutely decimated it. Although I do believe she get her power from XI which might be weird until you remember that you can still get an aeon power without even agreeing with their mindset both the elation and nihility have this where their a groups doing the exact opposite as their aeon wants hell if the knights of beauty get their power from another aeon then you don't even need to worship an aeon to get their power so acheron still having power walst having a separate personalities that have the same mind set of another aeon don't sound to fare fetched inncomparion.

I also recently found out that in the White Night music video, we see Acheron fighting a mecha-like character with green neon markers that resemble similar features to Aventurine's character model. Does this mean that we'll see Acheron vs Aventurine in his true form as a Sigonian?

In all honesty someone brought this up, although I'm not 100% about it, but Acheron is able to technically alter a conversation, as seen when we meet up post Black Swan addition, when we constantly defy her joining us we eventually are forced with nothing but allowing her to team up with us, it's also specifically in the red text that you notice that, I personally do believe not only is she an emanator of (I assume Nihility due to her path in-game) Nihility, but she might've done the same trick with with the check-in guest as she did with the trailblazer
Keep in mind that lore paths of characters and ingame battle paths differ. For example jing yuan in the lore is supposed to follow the path of Hunt, but in game he is erudtion. Black swan is supposed to be a remembrance emanator in the lore but is a nihility ig. Same for the upcoming sparkle.Supposed to be elation but ig is harmony.
Yeah, that is another possibility. Though, if I were here, able to manipulate people to do what I want them to do and all that, I wouldn't be bother stealing an invitation in the first place. Just go in there and "hypnotize" the receptionist to give me a room. Seem less complicated.

i was skeptical as well about Aventurine's claim about her killing Ifrit BUT NOW I THINK I HAVE AN EXPLANATION:
During the main quest, when we first see Acheron and Black Swan together, Acheron asks us to allow her to work with us while we figure things out. There were about 5 different choices there, but the last choice where you flat our say "No" is the most interesting because she actually repeats her question over and over (and in a way where Black Swan doesnt seem to notice anything wrong) UNTIL you're forced to say yes.
Could she have done the same to the receptionist? Plus Black Swan backs up Aventurine's claim when you ask if it's true that Ifrit is dead, and Black Swan would be most knowledgeable w that kind of information (unless of course shes lying to us again to help Aventurine sell the lie but idk i think she was being truthful)
Also speaking of characters with deep dark secrets, that's why im very fascinated with Aventurine as well - it's very easy to write him off as an annoying guy who's selfish but his background as an apparent slave of the IPC fascinates me and it's obvious there's more than meets the eye. Can't wait for his quest tbh

What if Red Acheron is from the future as an Emanator of Nihility due to the hopelessness and despair of the future. She traveled back to the past because of Finality either because of an effect or because She is a pathstrider of Finality. She traveled back to the past to Purple Acheron from the present to warn or act due to the future
You know what what if Red Acheron is Acheron in the future when she fully unlocked her power as an Emanator of Nihility and in the present Acheron her power hasn't fully unlocked or fully Emanated of you will but still powerful nonetheless
In fact if Red Acheron is a member of Self Annilihator or Device IX essentially Beom Ng near non existence she probably would have an easier way to traveled back to the present to Purple Acheron in the present

Look up Terminus. She's much more likely to be an Emanator of Terminus. Black Holes aren't unique to IX, and are the symbol of Quantum, or the Sea of Quanta beneath the Tree of Imaginary. Terminus' very nature explains Acherons oddities when you understand how Terminus works and Emanators.
Oh, I know how Terminus and Emanators works (as well as the little info we have in the game, that is), and I'm not writing off the possibility of her being an Emanator of Finality. This is but one theory I propose.
This is probably the most in the mark theory. It is yet to be seen what is the true nature of the difference in colors, but it is almost a given that she has something to do with the Nihility and IX. The flower motif on her splash art, ult animations and the diver's set is a dead giveaway, whereas the idea that she is an emanator of Finality comes only from Aventurine's words. And I agree that that guy's words are far from trustworthy at the moment.
Ngl it would be interesting to get more info on Terminus, but Aventurine sure was spouting nonsense. He was like "who care which aeon it is" after listing down some aeons associated with death and destruction on top of his head. I can't take him seriously.

I feel Sam would have atleast scan or sensed something about Acheron sword 2:08 (she literally and basically showing it to him) yet he didn’t so I feel like another version of Acheron hidden in the sword is somewhat half true. how can aventurine realise acheron is emantor with so little hints we don’t see her do crazy level power or show anything that could hint to her being emantor unless I’m stupid. hoyo isn’t the type to recycle one character lore or story into another(even if is small part of their ability story or anything else) but I have to say nice theory you got there but I do want to point somethings that might prove the theory true in her leaked kit her ultimate shows her becoming red “acheron” her sword also has red eye near the handle possibly red Acheron watching everything and again in ultimate she is hella powerful not just ingame but the fact she seems to create a blackhole and destroy it. I guess that proves star rail emantors and aeons are more powerful then certain herrschers

I doubt the Hoyo team behind Hsr pulls out a "the 'real' version of Raiden Mei equivalent is in the sword" again, if that happened in othwr Honkai Games i would see it possible, but considering Raiden Shogun/Ei is the only Hoyo Raiden that was in a sword thus far i dont see it very likely

When we asked black swan about it she agreed that all of what aventh said is truth about the duke and like black swan couldve saved firefly which is quite sus as well so i feel like both black swan and acheron are hiding something

Acheron is a Self Annihilator and an Emanator of IX to top it off. I don't need to see a cutscene her killing off Duke cause those information alone is enough that it's the truth. Emanators are on the top of the food chain in HSR next to the Aeons. No way Ifrit can fight someone on the league of Acheron and manage to live.
Yeah. I'm not questioning Emanotors' power level when it comes to Duke Inferno's fate. It just seems like lazy writing to me. A "villain" that was hyped so much is now simply not alive anymore.
