Man, that's really impressive. The huge ammount of work done to a few seconds of footage with VFX, It's almost Impossible to belive. Congratulations. Respect for VFX workers ALL around the globe.
Your dedication is amazing! You really take your time. I love freddie wong but your videos are a lot more detailed and you take your time. Thank you for the gold that you give youtube.
My favorite part of this was the handlebar stuff- it's easy to forget to mess with those subtler aspects of motion when you've got a deadline looming. I think though that you could have probably just hand-roto'd a lot of stuff in the time it took you to wrangle Primatte and the Roto Brush.
Hey Wren, These Tutorials are awesome!! Is it too much to include some material in your tutorials so that we can create the same effects through following along with the same material? or to create something we can use to follow along that isnt part of your shorts? Thanks and i hope to see more Aftereffects stuff from ya!
@QuantumDesignsHD Filmmaking is all about the effort you put in. Wren's nice enough to even make a tutorial for you guys. If you're too lazy to shoot your own footage to test out an effect, that's your fault, not his.
Wren idk if you still check comments on this channel but I think your video here just helped me a ton in my own projects, thanks a ton for this despite it being 8 years old lol
Really nice effect and tutorial, i was wondering can you do a falcon punch video while the subject crashing through wall and etc plus if you can follow the action that would be great. Thanks
You could even do a little bit of a parallax movement in both plates (background and green screen) and then just stabilize (setting to 'no movement') the green screen footagage. Then it should work according to the same principles in this video :) ....Yes, I know I'm 4 years late but it popped up in my recommended tab :p
Yea Bro, tell me bout it, I Just got through one and had no idea to hold shift.. ha. Nice tips in this video. I like the render part to, using the .mov png. so the cpu doesn't have to keep rendering the key. Thats going to help cuz I got a slow computer and like to try crazy effects!!
@wrenthereaper Ok sorry if i sounded rude, i love the stuff you do and watching this tutorial was really insightful. I just thought itd be a bit helpful but i do understand why you didnt do it. Fair enough :)
all i could think of while watching this tut was, you needed me to teach you a proper ai kido / ju jutsu fall. it would have been that much more epic. good tut though.
@TheHolyBurito Wow, its not lazy at all, i wasnt criticising him. Have you ever watched any VideoCopilot tutorials? What makes there tutorials so fantastic is the fact that they supply you with footage, to work on the effects, not the filming. No matter what you film, you will not improve at editing. I want to improve at editing, not filming. So i would edit a clip just to improve editing not shooting the clip. Thats why i was suggesting he supplied footage.
Man, that's really impressive. The huge ammount of work done to a few seconds of footage with VFX, It's almost Impossible to belive. Congratulations. Respect for VFX workers ALL around the globe.
Amazing tutorial, in fact one of the best tutorials I have seen. Too bad that you no longer have the time to do more of these.
@wrenthereaper Anyone can throw on a bunch of effects but your tips and tricks are what make your tutorials awesome!

Your dedication is amazing! You really take your time. I love freddie wong but your videos are a lot more detailed and you take your time. Thank you for the gold that you give youtube.

At 7:15 the frame of Wren makes him look like an angry four year old! lol
@QuantumDesignsHD Filmmaking is all about the effort you put in. Wren's nice enough to even make a tutorial for you guys. If you're too lazy to shoot your own footage to test out an effect, that's your fault, not his.

Will Keylight still work just fine?
I watch corridor now and that’s wren in the beginning
You can hate the Power Rangers like me and still love that kick-ass song!
May i ask what that circular object in your right pocket is(05:09)?
When are you going to do a new Epictorial? i love them!
You could even do a little bit of a parallax movement in both plates (background and green screen) and then just stabilize (setting to 'no movement') the green screen footagage. Then it should work according to the same principles in this video :)

Happy new year
wait, red vs blue cameo posters?
I really have no place to do a green screen. Might try it rotoscoping the whole action of falling back.
Are u same guy from corridor crew
No that's a different Wren who does VFX
Green screen cloths are pretty affordable, anyway. Even dying old blankets or painting a wall with green paint would cost more.
sir plz give me give me green screen link which you are using
it is prety awesome!!
your shows are so fuckin awesome dude
@Wrenthereaper. What are the dimensions of your green screen?
Posters. I fucking love you.
