Hmm... What if the Password for the Mainframe is that sequence of letters you found? Maybe you have to translate it using the Crow language as well...
The Resting Place level is the attic where the game was found, I wanna say.
I think this is the best explanation I've seen so far.

@@EthanChristensen think you could rebuild game with 4k support and AA option as well as disable the display window launcher on game launch , would be great ....maybe also add the underground access to the work building
My interpretation of Underground is that it's Thea's interpretation of her last days. She's climbing, for a long time, fighting to stay alive, but when she reaches her family, they leave, into a darkness that starts to surround her, that she'll never have the strength to navigate or find them again.
Then again, that reading of the level also stems slightly from my personal interpretation of the ARG, which is that Thea is a "ghost in the machine" that is successfully living in the game's files, and Manfred's obsession and insanity nearing his death is him trying to extract/reunite with his dead daughter.

i think i solved 11:15 you can view on my instagram highlights to see the images (not the best looking).
There are two files called Officechart and Officechartdown_letter for photoshop. When you open the Officechartdown_letter you can see there are hidden layers. One layer is a red line similar to the chart you see before it changes into random letters however it goes down rather than up and the line goes though some of the letters which are HIWTWTXTLs. using the crow translator it reds 'IRANANDNOW'. There is also an option to hide a layer that removes all the other letters except those.
The second file called Officechart is the image you see before it changes into the scrambled letters. This file also contains hidden layers. 3 hidden layers have a name:

-HELP
The layer that was the phrase 'iranandnow' confirms that the corw alphabet translator we use worked for this. You can allso see that Mandfreds name is there too.
I have no idea what this means but its creepy for sure. Again like i said at the beginning you can view my highlight on my instagram @ aishiaki to see the images for yourself
note: i have not seen anyone talk about this and i tried to find any discussion about it but yet to come across any. If someone else has figured this out let me know please

Maybe the family isnt runing away from thea, and instead its thea being separated from them because of her death.
I think the boat level was meant to be Lorenz's boat.
And I think the crow typing at the computer in rotation was supposed to represent Lorenz coding something

Thea is in the game, but the family can't accept it or is horrified of it, that's why they leave, and since Thea is trapped, she can't do nothing but see
My interpretation of the weird things that are present throughout the game is that they’re scarecrows and they represent the insanity of Lorenz while making this game and death, that’s why they take the crow on the hospital bed at the end, which also represents Thea’s death

In the Forest level there is a mirror you can walk up to. A Crawler scarecrow comes out of the mirror, and the player Crow character is replaced with the model BrotherCrow.
I've been trying to get all the pieces in place for a video I plan on doing of this game and this video was very helpful thanks a lot man Hope you're day is amazing!

7:40 ML mentioned a birthday (most likely his sons), & I thought it was 6/4, or April 6th (since that should be how you read the date in Germany, since Lorenz was German), or simply June 4 if you wanted to read it American style

I think the enternal revival system is something that is used to revive Thea, the crow we play as, I think she died due to brain damage, seeing as the crow(representing Thea) fall’s off of the stair's and get's brain damage leading to her death, the three crow's disappearing into the darkness, is representing Thea dyeing and leaving her family, and manfred isn't dead, because there is a secret message in the game that say's “nils I’m alive”, and the game was once for Thea, but after her death, it became a game for nils her brother, the crow with the green eyes is the mother mata, I also think that the enternal reviving system is keeping mr.lorenz alive.

Try overlaying the image at 11:18 with the image of the graph that is shown in its place in the playthrough. I'm sure the graphs will give u the correct letters to decode.

I know that this is late but I think that underground section was supposed to represent Thea finally passing away.
I think the "resting place" at 14:33 is the attic holding the game that was found by some German dude and bought by Butcher on eBay.
Perhaps Butcher bought the game from Nils?

I haven't but I'm pretty sure some people over on the discord server found out it's a message with some cipher. I haven't really looked into it much though.

i wonder if the letters from the bridge in the forest level can be inputted into the mainframe computer? or a decoded version of those letters? maybe the names of some of the lorenz family's members?
There is a good chance that in crow 64 the vent level was a water level and the bubble effects would play when falling.
For the mainframe part, I whould suggest adding the forest bridge code to it

If I was good at coding, I’d copy the files and create a version of the game before then developer went into insanity and probably add more treating it like a n64 game

if you use crow language and some work with the anagrams the buttons say something like "Nils Thea Crows"
while the chess pieces in the credits say in basic English without needing translation "I AM sorry all of you"

It seems to me that the underground scene with the crows is meant to be father crow, his wife, Thea represented as the smaller crow - having green eyes like her mother - and then
You the player are the son crow.
I’d also like to point out that if you are playing as the son crow then, as said in the email he wants to meet up with him soon, at there old favourite place, I’d imagine you’d have to go somewhere in the game. But idk where cuz the games so short.
Actually I think the the player could represent thea bc the lorenz guy whats his name? Said something once like: "this game goes to your younger brother now"

I believe the Eternal revival system deals with time. The hieroglyphics of the sun in the pyramid level are related to time. Crow 64 takes a game pak, which game took a game pak and was related with time? The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. Majora's Mask had a time limit of 3 in-game days. It allowed you to slow down time, speed up time, and go back in time. Who compiled it? Somebody named Majora.
In, "Let's play Catastrophe Crow! 64 Ep-2" the level takes place below the building. To get through the area, you have to go onto the correct path to avoid falling. The player falls multiple times during the video and yet the heart is still grey each time. The player by using trial and error gets through the area. This can represent how the Eternal revival system can work, you die you are back to where you last were or a 'checkpoint'. After you are back you can change the outcome allowing you to be in some way immortal.
Some of these levels in the cc64.rom folder are from the other videos but complete

14:31 looks like Donkey Kong 64 intro map
Maybe the Head in German map represents the injury I. The head of Thea. The two archway of fence representi g the head and the opening between the fence representing the injury place and the two hole represent the eye. Maybe it's a metaphor to the brainscan. Try checking any script. Maybe you'll get some comment in crow language.

i'm a long time unity user and c# programmer, where can I find the source code? I want to look at the scripts
If you join the Catastrophe Crow discord server they have a download link pinned. You could also likely find it on their reddit page
@@EthanChristensen I looked at the terminal map, there were no scripts that would indicate a coded password. I think the guy who made the videos enabled and disabled what would show in the screen like a puppet master

When I opened the project I couldn't get the sound to work. Did you get the sound to work?
I never got any sound from the unity projects when I was recording and taking notes, there might not be any audio in the files or that's just my computer acting up.
