Just picked mine up- a Sport+ and some of the comments you have made are inaccurate. Correction ...base model S has the optional $1000 safety pack, however Sport and Sport+ do not come with blind spot, that too is an option at $500. The car is no where near $32k.
$32k ??? Where are you getting your info from? Top spec Sport+ is $26,725.60 Drive Away (Full retail price) Plus $500 if you want Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Great review as always Jenny :) Took the new Corolla Hatch for a test drive last week, surprised at how small the interior is BUT fun to drive. The sedan is at least 10 months away (so I've been told) so I put down a deposit for the Camry Ascent Sport - Never thought I'd ever buy a Camry, but it's quite a nice car & the Civic just didn't cut it for me...not a lot of choice out there at the moment, don't like the instrument cluster on the Mazda 3...
Only just recently took a Kia Cerato for a test drive just the base model really awesome car to drive what let's it down is that crappy automatic gearbox manual should be available across the range

It still drinks like a tank 😁power go fig? yep more noise than HP but it's not a v8 or a race car lol so😂 ...oh it has beautiful power steering like a ballerina gotta lov tht looks cute in sports trim.. Basically for Kia it's a stunning looking car mines black and white.. People like to look 😍so it gets attention 🚗 beeps way to much lol still a good car for its price 👍😃
Kia cerato, now this one looks interesting, doesn't really excite me that much. Design wise outside tick nice. Inside, still looks a little blend but ok i guess, Engines? I agree with Jenny, come on Kia give it some grunt, Sport name, well i think Kia needs to work on that. Doesn't scream sport to me. Kia needs to modify this. A rear spoiler for a start, some sporty side skirts, that will lift it more. A rockus engine perhaps a V6, now i'll call it a sport.
2015 model looks better. They are moving to a more generic look with the blukier front. The thinner look is more sporty. And what about the 2.0L GDI?? The 2015 SLI better than the 'Sport'. And if you put them side by side, the SLI looks more sporty.

Very old engine, high consumption, very bad. Don't fall for the looks, it's an outdated cheap unrefined 2 decade old power train. Mazda 3 5.7l per 100km, cerato 7.4l per 100km with both 2l engines, insane!
Mazda fuel consumption wil not be that low. The Kia figure is much more closer to reality. Also happened when they tested Tucson and cx5 that in actual fact they were very similar in consumption even though Mazda claimed 2L less per 100km
If you factor in mazda will take several thousands more out of you bank account to hand one over, you will have the equivalent of three years free fuel in a Kia.

what is the sound system like in the car? is there an option for a better one?
I financed mine back in Dec 2018 with all the extra accessories added on beforehand (excluding bonnet and light protectors), 31k
