I'm an inline skater so I'll reccomend a grass stop at the bottom of the hill as another way to stop. Great video!

My grandparents used to live in point Loma, that is my happy place. Wish we still had that house

It is! I love that it's a super wide pedestrian bridge!

I can go backwards down a hill. My slalom is getting better, but I get scared when I see that bridge, I get scared when I see that BRIDGE!! Thank you for the relatable tip. I know I could do it...just * biting fingers*

I understand! But it’s not too bad. I promise! :)

Debbie is there enough of a rollout at the end of that bridge where you can bomb it if you’re the daredevil type? Looked like it curved at the end?

On the other side there definitely is. It empties out into a parking lot. The rollerbladers love it!

Just discovered your page!! I'm a new skater and wondering what you think of impala skates outside? I'm also having trouble with sand. What would you suggest is a good way to get over sand and the easiest trail in San Diego? Thank you!

Hi! I think as long as you’re using outdoor wheels (78a softness) then your skates will be fine! If you find you are skating a lot and you really need your skates to perform, then maybe you can invest in a tougher skate.
For sand, just avoid it if possible, and carefully roll over it when you can’t. Sometimes we can’t avoid sand!
And the easiest trail I’d recommend is the East Mission Bay path, which I did review as well. I hope you’ll check it out!

lol! I have thought the same thing, but I just love quads! I skate outdoors for the workout, so even though quads are slower, they make me work harder!
