22” wheels may looks better but 20” wheels are more practical. Smaller size means more rubber and more air to protect against blowouts as you hold up this heavy car. Not to mention a smoother ride as well since the rubber can absorb every bump. Plus better range. Just makes more sense with the 20” wheels.
also better for towing, as with the 22's you are limited to 3500 pounds, vs the 20's you are limited to 5000 pounds.
My fave Tesla, too. I have a MY coming soon, and you pointed out several things that I have been concerned about even prior to ordering it. However, at 75 it is now or never! I will probably have real problems not being able to see the hood, especially since there is no 360 view. I don't have stereoscopic vision, so challenged there already.
Looks like a great car. Thanks for covering everything. Price unfortunately too much for me.

Good review. Very thorough! The cars nice and all but $120k+ with no dropdown center arm rests on those second row captain chairs.. With none in the third row?? Awful.
Yet idiots keep buying this overpriced cars. I see why Elon is the richest in the world🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Drop-down armrest takes up center space path. Also ugly and not the aesthetics Tesla is going for. Sure, it might be more comfortable, but it clutters the cabin.

@@DescartesRenegade They literally “re-invented the steering wheel” on this car.. Surely they could’ve also done something with some simple armrests. There are plenty of good examples from contemporary/futuristic/modern office chairs.
Do you think Tesla will update the Model X/S to support 350kw charging?
Reserved the X LR, fully optioned. Been waiting for this for over 1.5yrs. it will be almost two years before I get this.

@@dangeles95 yes. Took delivery few months ago. The Tesla bubble caused the long lines. Much shorter now that it has popped.

Good review. Quick question, if you buy the non-plaid latest Model X due to wanting 7 seats, does it still accelerate past 70mphs at a consistent rate ?
Yes! The long range drive train has very solid 60-130. The S long range does 60-130 in 7 seconds which is hellcat territory. I’m assuming the plaid x long range does 60-130 around 8-9 seconds, which will destroy competitors like track hawk and trx etc

I can’t believe Tesla is still doing that stupid yoke. This thing will be the king of door dinging other cars which will no doubt cost you a bunch of $ after those people key your Model X… I’ll be carrying a roll of duct tape for just such an occasion

The correct price is what the consumer is willing to pay.
Can you find me another car that can accelerate anywhere near that fast, has near that power, has near that tech and can carry 6 people for less than the Model X plaid? Unless you can do that then it seems like a very reasonable priced car for what it can do compared to cars that cost much more and cannot match it in performance.
