- Emmy winner Jake Hamilton sits down with Denzel Washington, John Goodman and director Robert Zemeckis to talk about their new film, FLIGHT -- only on JAKE'S TAKES! Follow Jake around the world at jakestakes
Denzel Washington gives one of the top five performances I have ever seen in my life.
I love Denzel anyway, but this is definitely one of my favorites...up there with Man on Fire for sure. He is amazing and makes you believe his characters!
I definitely go to the movies just for Denzel, could care less about the movie, his performance is always strong and powerful.
Thank you for showing us all the good bad and ugly side of addiction.
The good side is HOPE........There is always Hope an addicted person
can embrace and live TRUTH.
I hope Denzel gets an Oscar for this movie
interviewer has alot of energy and shows great deference for the actors in a way that anything they say is good enough for him because he admires them so; i think the actors in this set of interviews could feel that recognition and brightness from him and accepted his approach and gave him some support. i've seen denzel be testier with other interviewers, for example.
Denzel Washington is the man. Legend!!
I have to say that I enjoyed Flight a lot. Elements of comedy mixed into the drama was nice.
Washington is very nice guy .. love him
No matter how far one falls there is ALWAYS HOPE. Guide us.
John Goodman is having a nice comeback! Everyone check out "Red State" he was great in that film.
Fallen! I loved that movie so much. It's been like 6 years since I first saw it and "Time Is on My Side' still creeps me out. *shivers*
denzel washington is one of the best actors loves him....
I think this is one of the best interviews here, Jake. Good questions, very confident and polite. Shouldn't have asked Zemeckis if he wonders why people don't go see the movie for the story rather than the actor. I mean, the dudes just made a movie, and I for one am going to see it because it looks good, rather than the fact Denzel is playing the part.
You gotta be kidding. Stupid dumb questions. Praising saying how wonderful someone is . Then asked Goodman about someone who he trusted the most ,,? Wtf that to do with film
Man if I see Denzel Washington’s name on a movie, I’m DAMN SURE finna g’on down there and watch it. Regardless of what it is
Crusing on the runway towards a third Academy Award!
love your interviews man....!!....love your enthusiasm and quality of questions!!!...great!!!
i seriously saw this movie because of denzel and loved it i dont do that for anyone else l
Can't wait to see this movie--love Denzel as hero with complications.
just seen it myself and nearly took a crap in my seat! great movie a must see!!!!
i seriously saw this movie because of denzel and loved it i dont do that for anyone else so thats true
I can't wait watching this movie...!
When i close my eyes, while Zemeckis is talking, i'd swear that scorsese is talkin' Damn!
This guys is the best interviewer out there.
the best movie interviews hands down.
wow i wanna see this film now...
He was "acting so cool" because he was loaded. His blood alcohol level was .24. I'm surprised he didn't nap through the entire crash.
He is like all the time,
so very true
exelente actor john goodman ¡¡¡
I see all Denzel movies. But i only see all Zemekis' LIVE-Action movies :p
DEFINITLY, I loved it!
I like this positive, enthusiastic interviewer! Soooo white and goofy, but lots o' love exuded from him... Deux is right... refreshing!
always..is a great movie.
Saw the film last night. Hands down movie of the year. Robert zemekis almost outdid forrest gump. If denzel doesnt win best actor, there will beriots in the streets!
best movie 2012...
movie junkets, so make it just right, thank you Jake, stay fresh!!!
I was hoping he'd mention Fallen.
TRIUMPH!
Hahahahahahahahah, young interview is jumpy nervous, Denzel coolly says, I don't get to wear a suit quite like yours, hahahahahahahahaha, cracked me up.
This guy asks all the right questions
You can tell the actors are like "Oh Jesus. How am I going to answer this question...."
So you are saying the USAir Flight 427 incident ( a bit similar to what is protrayed in this total fictional movie ) is the result of bad piloting i.e. the inability of the pilots to assess and correct the situation, same goes for Alaska Airlines 261 MD-63 incident, same goes for all accidents involving damage to the flight controls and surfaces, the survival chances are slim and go study statistics of aircraft accidents also.
Great job dude keep it up
It's like every film's one of his favorite films.
Look at that actors previous interviews and write your questions based on how they responded to other interviewers questions.
Amazing
Denzel makes the best movies!
jake hamilton lives in houston? this guy has to come to my school
There are people who keep their cool and think straight in an emergency. That's also the value of recurrent training so you know your plane. But perhaps you're more like Whip Whitaker's co-pilot. If you're the type to lose your marbles when something goes wrong, you shouldn't be flying, and certainly not in the left seat.
yea def could use higher quality
This guy was really nervous giving these interviews. He asks good questions, but he would probably benefit from talking about 1/2 as fast.
MAKE YOUR INTERVIEWS 720p PLEASEEEE
haha...are you being sarcastic? Jake's one of the best around...or do you prefer the ones who ask the same questions over and over and over in each interview. Jake's original and a lot of fun...quite refreshing.
JAKE....Has anyone took up you're offer of the FOLD UP COUCH???
Can someone please explain why the director/writers would do that grand opening scene of nudity?? I’m seriously wondering… I’d like to rewatch this movie with others bc of its many messages but…it makes it a no-go with the nudity. I don’t get it.
How cool would it be if one day one of the actor ACTUALLY is standing in front of Jay´s door to sleep on his foldout couch :)
press that ----> 0:50
I also have a very comfortable fold-out couch!
Alaska Airlines 261 didn't have an engine failure...
So...Jake has a very comftable foldout couch
Bob doesn't get the fold out couch?
No prizes for guessing Jake's favourite superlative.
@seanotube85 He's at a press junket, where each interviewer gets about 5 minutes per actor to ask theur questions. He's just trying to get the most info.
Never could picture Denzel snorting cocaine?
I'm pretty sure he has one, but it's not a national show.
Good interviewer for change
Step back.......What does the ascension of the plane..the determined ascension .....the
acquired height...abrupt awakening....nose dive....recovery that just nicked the church
represent......?
I always wonder what i would ask an actor if i was to interview
Any CAs or FOs here?
He asks really deep questions that he expects people to answer right away. It makes it difficult to give an insightful answer.
he gave u nice interview (y)
Nah teenagers can go, you just buy a ticket for another movie(PG-13) and walk in. At least we used to, lol
The couch again?!
are you a pilot? yay or nay? The movie shows an intoxicated pilot keeping his cool as you say. My argument, and read what I write, has nothing really to do with keeping your cool, it has to do with knowing what to do, Sullenberger knew what happened and could deduce what to do next, The film shows someone rolling a md a few feet above the ground a: unrealistic b: has never been attempted in real life ( maybe at 10 km up in the sky ). Go play your flight sims.
Any mobie with denzel is axing..
Jake's questions are great, but they are not suited for the quickfire interview format. They take time to reflect upon and answer, and yet he gives his subjects about 2 or 3 seconds to come up with something insightful. Of course, they're trained and so they just go with it, but you can tell that it's almost always a little uncomfortable for them. At the same time, I do think they appreciate the change up from the usual monotony of these things.
are you saying jake is or is not being classy by using the line to individual actors in individual interviews?
Who does this guy think he is talking to? How long did he prepare for this interview? Seems like he was flying by the seat of his pants.
jake. does. not. blink.
bad interview, critique...would love to see a pilot acting so cool when something goes wrong with the palne in real life. ohh I know exactly what is happening with the plane sooo co-pilot nose-down trim please so I can flip the plane, only in the movies ( from a pilot ).
IF you know what i mean....
people will go see a mark Wahlberg movie
Black dnot flights black dint fall
Using the same pull-out couch joke twice
Stay classy Jake
good questions but worst choice of words
Yeh he asks great questions but the answers are less than satisfactory -_-
This guy talks too fast.
unstoppable, deja vu, pelham 123, flopped
wow I don't like this Jake guy.
worst interviewer I've seen in years, and I work in film.
