I'll copy-paste instructions Makemake posted on another comment: > To animate the black hole go in the material instance. There is a parameter called "velocity", it's one of the first ones. Raise the velocity to make the disk move faster.
Speeding shit up on the scale you are talking about is like adding lens flares to everything just cause it's pretty. You wouldn't see the movement of a blackhole the way you imagine it. Same with lava flow from space, you wouldn't see enough detail at that distance to see a difference. If you want unrealistic pretty fairytale nonsense, watch 2009s star trek -into darkness. It's got you guys covered
Just recently bought the Planet Creator 1 and 2 V2 versions and Star Creator. I've spent many nights just creating scenes and being mesmerized by the stunning visuals that you can produce with these assets. You've done such an incredible job with these. My only two issues are: for some reason I get MASSIVE light bloom / haze that completely blows out the scene when a star is viewed from a distance. I can't seem to figure out what option(s) can be used to attenuate this effect. The other, very minor issue, is that Planet Creator 1 and 2 need to have their properties better aligned, especially the lighting parameters. Other than that, I'm blown away by what you've accomplished here. I'll be picking up the black hole and asteroids packs next. :) Keep up the awesome work! 👏
Yeah, I'm really happy to find a solution to the main connective tissue for my 3rd game, though I should be a little me focused on getting the first done. Either way, this Asset Pack will be mine soon enough.
Hi, i'm on the brink of purchasing but please is the atmosphere available and also adjustable? like the atmosphere from the planets. I don't see any atmosphere in the planets, and no moving clouds. Also can the planets spin? and also for the sun, do they have moving flares? and heat emmiting?
Im working on making a space online multiplayer game that’s open world , I’m still a beginner but hopefully I get good with the graphics like this video has. Truly outstanding
So a few questions to clarify please. The difference between standard and pro seems to be adding the extra skybox textures, asteroids, and black hole? Does standard come with any decent skybox textures? Also, can any of the asteroids be destructible? Like if you had an object crash into one? And last, are there any workable presets i.e. if I wanted to mostly simulate our own solar system? So to make likeness of the well known planets? Thanks!
The skyboxes in the basic version are high quality as well, the difference is that in the basic version you have 15 and they have a resolution of 4k x 8k, in the pro version you have 30 more skyboxes and they are 8k x 16k. Asteroids are not destructible by default and you don't have the Solar System.
Make Make will you post the tutorials soon? You got the best space creation package out there out of any 3d software. Pump some tutorials for us, and we'll support you more! :) Plz if possible show us how to animate that blackhole rings, they should be moving instead of being stationary while camera moves :) Looking forward to your next video! :)
I'll publish a tutorial soon. To animate the black hole go in the material instance. There is a parameter called "velocity", it's one of the first ones. Raise the velocity to make the disk move faster.
Nice work. what fps are you rendering this? I assume it was not 24 fps? May I suggest a sort of weather space system, solar flare events, cosmic radiation, storms on jupiter? Thank you
I most definitely do not have the money for this but HOT DAMN is it beautiful. I have used a couple different planet systems, and every single one DOES NOT allow for sun angle (or I should say full control over sun angle). Does this allow you to position the sun/star wherever and adjust the planets accordingly?
Thanks. These planets use a custom lighting system: basically they receive geometric data from a directional light or any object in the scene, but the lighting is done inside the material. So you can use for instance a central star in a solar system or a distant light source without the shortcomings that the unreal light units might cause to shading.
@@makemake4617 Awesome!! Also last little question, is the space creator just a combination of all your other assets? Meaning (since I don't have the bulk amount of money) if I slowly bought the different assets it would be the same as getting space creator?
@@athradian4752 correct. The only extra you have with the Space Creator/Pro is that you have some example levels where all assets are combined. However, I will soon publish a tutorial where I explain how to use the elements of the SC, so it won't prevent you to use the assets at their full potential.
Hi, what a fantastic looking asset, is it possible to use other texture maps on the planets too, I was hoping to have the planet earth but with the clouds and atmosphere from the pack?
@@makemake4617 Sorry to hassle you again but I have just looked at the Planet Creator documentation and noticed that at the end of the document you specify how to bake textures to a static texture which can then be assigned to the planet under the "baked textures" section. The reason why this pack does not have a sample is that it is a collection of tools: giving access to one of those, even with limitations, is not possible because it would be extremely easy to crack the blocking parts.
My guess is that at nearly $300.00, we're not going to see this pack as a freebie for the month, are we.
