Hi everyone! :D Welcome to my Mario anime opening j-rock cover! This is a fan made Mario anime opening that I did the music for by covering one of the most iconic themes from the game the main theme and adding lyrics to it! I will be honest when I first heard you were gonna fit "In The Final", I didn't know if it would work but was open and curious to seeing how you would blend it in, and you definitely nailed it, I should've known better than to have any doubts lol, and hearing that Gusty Garden part almost made me tear up just from all the good memories and nostalgia it brings forth in me, this was amazing and really glad to see it come out, I hope this gets the love it deserves 'cause it's another banger, and a great tribute to Mario, awesome work as always!

I guess I'll start by complimenting the songs you decided to use in this, they could not be more perfect.
Especially In The Final, it's probably my favorite Mario song ever and you completely did it justice in this!! (I kinda want an entire opening made out of In The Final now lmao)
And the way you interpreted the songs into your style is perfect too, the execution on this opening is absolutely *incredible!!*
There is a perfect mix of more intense parts and less intense parts in this, and those drops and the leadups to them were done _extremely_ well!
Your songs are always amazing, but this somehow managed to come out even more incredible than usual!!

The thing I love about this and the tone is how you captured Mario as the ultimate underdog, but one who never gives up. I can see him being that anime protagonist who everyone looks down on, but he always pushes forward. His catchphrase being something like "Didn't you hear? I'm a superstar!"
And the lyric "Don't give up, you've come so far" both resonates with Mario's character of again, not giving up, but also captures the player of Mario games not giving up. I have a hard time with Mario titles, so hearing that almost makes me want to play a Mario game and try again.
All this to say, very good work. One of my favorites now, actually.
