I'm thinking about getting a spiral perm done my hair I guess u can say long and it's fine frizzy hair type. Dk if that matters to my question. But I was wondering if I'll still be able to put my hair up I usually do a half bun? How long if I'm able to do I need to wait so I won't run in my perm? Their is no videos on this either.

Trinity Ridenour it will do some damage, but if you already don’t use a lot of heat on your hair, you should be fine :)

i wouldn’t wet the hair at all i just got a perm and i don’t wanna risk losing it lol so i only use curling cream

My hair stylist cut my hair afterwards, i think its in layers im not for sure. She switched from medium & small rods, at the moment it just looks like i braided it after the shower & took it out in the morning. I got my spiral perm yesterday, im hoping that when its time for me to wash my hair it will become curlier, maybe it's because of all this product she put in my hair who knows.

Damn four years no answer allow me too help you fam try using curling shampoo also get curling cream for after you get out the shower you apply to your wet curls then when your hair dries with the cream the cream stiffens like glide and glues your curls in place

Ridhatullah Akmalurrizal Firdausi that’s litterally what I have is a perm and I’m male and my hair is usually straight the biggest tip I can give you is DONT USE A HAIRBRUSH OR COMB use your fingers if anything just wet your hair and fmdry with a hirdryer or air dry too fix the curls bc a comb n brush will pull out the curls and you’ll have too get it re done

issacsgirl82 i know im really late but if you want to put your hair up, you have to use a scrunchy for the first week or so. You can try after wards using a hair tie.
