In this brand new survival multiplayer series called 'New Life', PearlescentMoon dives into the world of modded Minecraft with 18 other creators.
You only have 6 lives on New Life. After that, your series is OVER.

well, to be fair... the water from Martyn's ice blocks actually hurt other players, you can see sausage take damage from it.

With the Origins mod, this is bound to be a great series!
I remember the last series I watched with the Origins mod was really fun so this should be even better with Pearl!

Pearl should try living like a dwarf, with tunnels and stuff. If she can make one block tall tunnels, she wouldn’t really have to worry about intruders unless they are also small

i LOVE that the POV heights properly adjust, seeing the chicken from that pov is so peculiar lmao but it definitely helps things feel more immersive compared to however the empires server had to do it

I love Oli the chest just randomly showing up in other videos. I don't think there could be a more perfect first origin for him! 😂 Pearl is so cute though! Standing on the counters at Sausage' place and being excited about the mooblooms. Love this series already!

The way Pearl says origin gives me a constant serotonin boost
I feel like having Frost Walker + Feather Falling boots would be super helpful when adventuring. The log armour might also be helpful since it has blast resistance and arrow resistance. Hopefully those will minimize any unexpected creeper explosions considering your health. I'd also look into the saw from Create to help with tree cutting. I know you can vein mine the whole tree but given that the axe has multiple uses in this case, it might be worth looking into! Regardless, I'm very excited to watch this playthrough :D

It's only episode 1 but there's already so many fun moments, I'm so excited to see pearl in a modded series! Imagine the cool builds she's gonna come up with :0 this copper golem origin might be one of my favorites so far, it's so cute and small and orange, love it!! 🧡
Hi pearl! amazing start to the series! just a little tip: you can press the "U" key while hovering over an item in your inventory to learn what it is used for :)
and the "r" key to see recipies it is used in!
Yea she needs a lot of "tips" from the comments to get a good hold of the mods

Finally, Pearl is in this modded series. I watched Gem’s last season and I was thinking this would be perfect for you! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for your building style with all the blocks! 👌
You can press U on an item in your inventory to see its "Uses". Pressing W on a block from the "Create mod" lets you "Ponder" it ("pondering" an item lets you see a animation of the item & ideas to build with it).
Even though you don't have the ability if you eat "Farmers Delight" when you get to endgame recopies can give you buffs like temp HP or Potion effects.
This first episode already makes me excited. I can't wait to see Pearl decorate with the additional furniture and mini-blocks!
Psst... The Create mod is also cool! A very user-friendly way to get started with contraptions and automation!

As new to mods as you are, here's something that could help you. If you hover your mouse over an item in your inventory, or in the displayed items on the right, and click 'R,' you'll see the Recipe on how to make that item. If you click 'U' you can see what you can Use that item to make. Very handy when it comes to modded items you have no knowledge on. You can also click 'A' which favorites the item, and copies it to the left side of your screen, to remember for later.

A good name for your dog, call him/her “horse” or “pony” because it is massive relative to small pearl
Here’s a tip: If you’re brave enough to go to the Nether, you may find Nether Rubies, which can be used to craft a pickaxe that instantly smelts iron, gold, and copper. Assuming you don’t die there (which could very well happen, the Nether is even more dangerous and expansive with the BetterNether mod), instantly smelting copper will give an easy source of recovery while out in the mines. You’ll also need the Nether equivalent of sugarcane instead of sticks to craft the pickaxe, though, so keep that in mind.

Can we get a Pearl Cooking Segment each episode? A copper golem that cooks for others would be cute, but a lot of origins have abilities that make them hungry (so you'd have a stash of foods).
