I feel like, except if they cost the 3d6 countercharge as gamebreaking, then they might have done a 500ish points model, and i'd be happy to take him in some Ironjawz lists.
If his purpose is to sit on objectives he got a massive nerf both to save and control, unit to unit the 4+/5++ save is so much worse, it's not even close. The only use I can see for him now is a glass cannon as part of an alpha strike list that can use the bonus charge range.
Feels like the rules are more complicated than 3rd and launch is going to be a mess

Kragnos is far weaker now. A 3+ save would be fine but a 4+ is a massive nerf compared to a 2+. He didn't gain any damage, or utility, in fact he lost utility. His health table barely came into effect because in my experience he either died because mortals pick him up, or he never drops below 10 wounds and the table doesn't matter. Problem is I cannot reason why they wouldn't cost the "god" models above mega gargants. So unless gargants get a massive point decrease I see Kragnos being minimum 600 points but likely staying 700 and being even more unplayable. Unless they do a massive change to his stat block per faction or if he get faction and sub faction abilities now since he's technically apart of the faction now. Kragnos with Venom Encrusted weapons would be amazing and I'd build a melee Kruleboyz army around that without hesitation
Remove the shield and I find it hard for him to not go up to 5+. If everything is going up in points a little and everything is looking to be slightly weaker than 3rd I'd say Kragnos is within margins of the changes. I wouldn't run him but that's because I don't like the model.
IMO, I think the new warscroll is slightly better because of the 5+ ward and overall the damage output seems slightly better too because of the less than 10 health, minus 2 attacks is becoming standard across all Monsters in V4, no table damage non sense to track and no monster getting worse and worse.
Don't like the way avatar of destruction works neither in V3 or V4, this rule is just very confusing to me to understand.
Is it like instead of being removed the models stay on the table with the health he had before being slayed by an attack and instead takes 6 damage, those can be saved (on a 4+ in V4) but not warded ?? So if he had more than 6 health before it saves him for a turn with at least 1 health; but if he had less than 6 the chances of him stay depend of the saves you made (like he had 4 health, being slayed, stay on the table with 4 health point and you just got a chance to keep him (kinda like a reroll saves).
I don't imagine Kragnos be taken in V4 in any destruction army if the cost stay the same than V3 especially if the 3d6 charge can be given by other Heroes in those armies (We almost never took him before except in Bonesplitters, and maybe for fun sometimes or narrative Campagn maybe).

Avatar of destruccion Just means that he cannot be instakilled by abilities (hand of dust) and instead takes 6damage, no save allowed.

4+ save is not good enough. Should have been 3+ (he's supposed to be a god XD). Before he melted to mortals. Now he'll melt vs anything. 5+ ward is nice though.
