How does trying get rid of an episode of Doctor Who make a damn difference? This man did terrible terrible things BUT thats not the fault of everybody else in the episode who are now not getting royalty payments from this episode. Not being funny, most of the people in this episode are largely unknown so this was their 'big break' , so to speak. Taking the episode off of BBC iplayer entirely only punishes the bigger parts in this episode like Chloe Webber etc. Hes barely in the damn episode, no one cares!. Stupid stupid 'censorship ' that doesn't make a sodding difference to the bigger picture.
@@girlfromthevillage403 it’s really annoying. They have said that sensitive version will be coming out but in my opinion they really should just put a warning for it.
@BITDayTV I know it sounds insensitive to say but he's not doing anything dodgy *in* the episode is he. 99% of people don't even know who he is. I certainly didn't till his name was everywhere. To me (and I would dare say most others) he's just a random news person in 5 seconds of Doctor Who
That's hardly the point. It opens up the possibility of them removing good episodes if they are shown to feature problematic people in them in the future.
@@baybarsedturner2 they all ready have removed stuff because it no longer fits the BBC’s bizarre ‘modern audience’ filter. Just look at Little Britain.
@@baybarsedturner2 "..opens up the possibility of them removing good episodes..." like they haven't been removing content because it "doesn't align with our [the bbc's] modern beliefs" for over a decade.
@@monarch_9634 I'm sure they have. But I think this is the first time they've touched Doctor Who (apart from removing The Beatles number from The Chase because of copyright issues).
He’s still gonna be intact on the DVD Releases.
Yeah there no way they can stop that as the dvd has been being produced since late 2006
No way in hell, the sales will rise now
@@Benratbag1997 I have the box set from 2006 it will still be on there
Well yeah obviously?????

The whole world's gotten too over bloody sensitive which I find more dangerous than anything else at this point.
David Tennant shouldn't get paid as he is transing his child.
He was probably the most famous newsreader in the country. Most people knew his name.
The episode is not on iPlayer
That is really weird and Stalinistic
r these all the scenes that will be deleted

That episode was shite anyway...

Is it coming back?
@@sky_plays-wi4qc yes at a later date
They probably still have the original project file somewhere in the BBC archives, so they could just open it in their editing software and replace it…
