Very helpful video. I can personally recommend woodyatt curtains. I ordered some nets for my new home. I paid the extra to have them hemmed at the sides, it was well worth it. Finished beautifully and was very happy with my purchase. They arrived really quickly considering how many I ordered and each net labelled to each room. Was well impressed.
Thanks! I bought some lovely drapes secondhand with 3 string shirring tape on and some half broken plastic hooks that have been pulling the cotton Loops out of the tape and I did not know what to do with it. Now I will pull it all straight and then draw it up again and get some new hooks and now I know what kind of Rod to get. I guess you can also use I-beam rod. : )
So if I wanted to cover a 300cm wide window how wide should each curtain be, is it double the actual width it's meant to cover to account for the pleats?
You need to get a big needle and thread the cord back through the curtain tape. There are several cords so look at a cord above or below and do the same.
Hi Hugh, Thank you for your question. We should of explained this clearer in the video. The finished width of the curtain (half the pole width) was 115cm wide. It is really difficult to do a slip knot right on the edge of the curtain because you can not loop the curtain cords to create the knot. We find it much easier to pull the curtain tape up an extra 5 cm (2 inches) narrower than it needs to be, so in this video 110cm wide (pulled up curtain tape) then 5cm gap for slip knot. Therefore after you have made the slip knot the curtain will expand to the knot and be the correct size of 115cm. Hope this makes sense. Thanks Ashley
Very helpful. Clear. To the point. Thank you. Where can I buy the hooks that you use in this video? I am having trouble finding these exact ones. Thank you again!
We sell a packet of 20 hooks for £1.99 if you are in the UK - if you click on this web page - www.woodyattcurtains.com/curtains-c15/ready-made-curtains-c16/monza-grey-thermal-curtains-pp13092 - the hooks are a tick box at the bottom below where the curtain sizes are
The exact curtains on this video have now been discontinued. However these are very similar www.woodyattcurtains.com/curtains-c15/ready-made-curtains-c16/monza-grey-thermal-curtains-pp13092

YOU ARE WELCOME.
What can i do if i forgot to tie the knot and the cord has now come out completely

شي حلووو 😘
It would be nice if you showed drapes open and how they hang.
Thank you for the feedback we would do that in a new video
Video and sound quality seem good but at 2:54, the slip-knot is tied several inches beyond the fabric edge (as though for a wider curtain). Why?
