Went to Six Flags Missouri years ago and we rode the skylift, a week after we got home, the cable had broken and the cars fell. I so enjoyed the Caverns ,WagonWheel and all your stops. It is so much fun!! Thank you

Glad you got to experience the iconic Ted Drews Frozen Custard. We lived in the northern part of St. Louis County so we went to Iggy's Frozen Custard which was located Florissant MO where we lived at the time. Nice to see Six Flags again. The little motel was adorable!

I'am with you Will.I love all the old neon signs. Since it is on Route 66 some of the places could be bought and redone to have the past not die. It's sad. Oh by the the Wagon Wheel hotel is wonderful. It reminds me of some of the hotels that we stayed in when I was a child.❤

I watched all of these vlogs before when they actually aired however, it’s fun to go back and watch them again. I have lived around 66 nearly all of my life. I’ve been to these places, The Coral motel that you were at in St. Louis was a famous place for gangsters to hide up with their mistresses.
St Louis is Our old stomping ground! Glad you went to Ted Drew’s now, the summer it gets crazy crowded! Sorry you missed the brewery and the Clydesdales. You can pay to see them at Grants Farm in Affton Mo.. Glad you are enjoying yourselves.

Guys, we saw the Clydesdales at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and Tampa Bay. They really are awesome! This is a great trip and we are really enjoying every minute of it. Can't wait to get home in the evenings and watch the next video! Take care and many traveling blessings to you!

if you wanted to see the Clydesdales you should have driven by Grants Farm just a short detour off 66. They have the horses outside you could have seen. Great job on Missouri cant's wait to see what else you show.

Sad to see the Travelodge Diamonds Inn closed in Villa Ridge. That was also a historic motel that closed just recently. Never stayed there. The Wagon Wheel Motel looks really nice! Would love to stay there sometime! Thanks for great video!
When you were at the wayside motel across the road would have been Coral Court Motel. It has a great history as a no tell motel. It also had a roll in the Kidnapping of Bobby Greenlease. Ted Drews was not busy. There are times when the parking lot is filled and people have the sidewalk packed. it is cool to drive down 66 at night to see all the neon lights.
So many unique historic and abandoned locations along the way ty for sharing enjoyed it sledgehammered that like button stay safe awesome and blessed shared looking forward to the next leg of the journey

Your videos are pretty entertaining and informative. In 2021 I drove Route 66 from Santa MOnica to St. Louis, but I missed out on a lot due to driving way too many hours per day, and not knowing many places are closed on Sundays or Mondays. In just a few weeks, I am starting a trip from Joplin MO, to Chicago, to A) make it to the end and B) see and do some of the stuff we missed out on due to my poor planning. I made a series of videos on my channel that covered all that I did. I want to make the trip again and take more time to see more. Oklahoma had way more to do that I expected. I am really looking forward to Route 66 Pt. deux: Unfinished Business.

That was 47 years ago. As a kid, I am pretty sure we went to Meramec Caverns. Speaking of, you should check out Mamouth Cave in KY. It is awesome. They have a lodge right on site. Good for you guys! We stayed at the Wagon Wheel Motel a couple years ago. Really cool place. We ate at Missouri Hicks BBQ right next door. Really good food.
