Today my crew and I are back continuing a big project we started a couple days back. After completing the rock path on our previous video now we begin setting wooden borders. The wood was all cut from wood we had at our shop using our saw mill. We cut over a hundred pieces in attempts of completing the entire path. Today we made really good progress how ever we still have much more to do. I want to thank anyone who took the time out of their day to watch the video. Any questions comments tips leave them down below!

That’s great you are able to produce your own landscape timbers for the job. Great idea.

Appreciate the comment. Ended up saving the customer a lot of money an we were able to use up a lot of the logs we had at the shop. One of these days ill try to make a video of us using the saw mill to make planks etc so everyone can see the process. Enjoy your week thanks for watching.

I agree, I like the color contrast of the orange wood and the gray stone.

Tree Boss, best job/video ever - AMAZING 👏 I have so many comments... it looks like y'all were bending those beams with the angles y'all did!! Are they treated with something to make them last? That's a beautiful walkway!! The family that's paying y'all to do this are blessed!! I'm sure it was tedious, but as always, y'all worked through it & did it right!! Nobody else could have done better, in my opinion!! Y'all are truly skilled!! This was fun to watch!! The precise measurements - leveling - all so incredible!! Big thumbs up 👍 👍👍🙏❤️ God bless y'all and your families!! Hugs to Benji!!

Thank you so much! So to answer some of the questions yeah we treated them with a I wanna say kinda like paint/varnish that we were recommended. Supposedly was the next best thing to having them pressure treated which consists of huge mahines to get it done. The logs have also been drying for a while as well as when they were cut in post we had them in our green house drying for a couple weeks. So hopefully they should last a good amount of time. Luckily theyre easily replaceable so if they ever do go bad we can swap them out no problem. Im really glad you enjoyed the video I know the customers are super happy with the job. Ill show you guys the finish product when we're done for sure. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment! Enjoy the rest of your week!

That looks great! When you put soil under a beam, do that a little higher and over the whole with. It always goes down further than you think. You might consider putting sand on the outside of the beams. It will overgrow and therefore stay in place, but at the same time see to it that water goes down fast and the beams won't rot that fast. You also might consider to put a thin layer of dirt on top of the sand. Just some remarks from the distant. 🙃

Nice work ..I would have used a Mini Skid steer to, bring the posts to the path. Its alot of work hand bombing the posts. Also I would have used Re- bar to anchor the posts to the ground. I have cut the Re Bar 24 inches long. This would hold better just saying !!
