The wife didn’t willingly get into a relationship with a married man, while the mistress did. The wife entered into a legal agreement (and probably more so a religious agreement) with this man and feels that it is important to fulfill it. I don’t think she should stay with him, but I have sympathy for her in that regard.

I really wonder if the Schizophrenia is a true diagnosis or if he knew how to play the system. It seems like he’s saying he’s schizophrenic when it benefits him (as an excuse). I’ve known many people with schizophrenia and it is extremely difficult to come to terms with, it’s scary, and it’s not an excuse for poor decision making. He strikes me more as having a personality disorder. But I’m just guessing.
Let's pray he gets a proper diagnosis and treatment. Even then, living with any mental disorder is challenging for the patient and their friends and family.
