- #mrbasstv #jigfishing I love fishing tackle and finding ways to better store and manage my tackle. I am a huge jig fisherman too, and have tried all kinds of tackle boxes to keep my jigs in. I ran into this tackle box quite awhile ago and was intrigued with it. This is a follow up video to the previous video I made on this box a few years ago. I really like this box alot. One of the problems with a traditional tackle tray is that when you pile a bunch of jigs in a Plano box it's difficult to see what you've got quickly. The Gruv Big Jig box completely eliminates that problem. I am not aware of an easier system to help you quickly glance and find the jig you want to fish with. This translates to more time with your jig in the water, which also means more fish in the boat. Jig fishing is a blast, but hunting for the right jig is no fun at all. With the magnetic lid, the Gruv Big Jig Box makes finding your jigs freaky fast. They have other great products that I am using as well like the launch pad on my kayak and the very awesom tungsten vault. Gruv products are definitely innovative and practical, and they really are pretty affordable too. The Big Jig Box retails for $29.99 and I think it's worth every penny.

Thanks for the video! I've been thinking about getting the Big Jig Box but haven't committed since it is a bit pricey. Looks like it would suit my needs perfectly though so I think I'm going to go ahead and get one. As a bank angler I like that it's compact. This would be a great way for me to organize a small day box of jigs, swimbait heads, underspins, chatterbaits, etc.
Could you put the inserts in the plano edge jig box? Or maybe even the crankbait box that's a little deeper? I know on your video review of the edge jig box it was too shallow. I wasn't sure if that would still be a problem with these silicon inserts in a plano edge box. Any thoughts?
It's not a bad idea, but the adhesive may not be strong enough to survive a transplant.

I would try to buy a launch pad,and try to put it inside a box,but I think it might be too tall to close the box.
I don't think *I* would buy the box,as I prefer more flexible type storage. I love the idea of it,but the specialty of it,is a turn off. I have 3700 size Flambeau box that I use as my " jig box",but I can pull out a bunch of jigs I'm not going to throw,and add crankbaits I might use.
