You can monetize either as stand alone sealed collection piece, making it a very expensive draft vehicle or by filming the unboxing video. Rudy manages to get both youtube attention and his money back, so mazel tov to him, I guess
This set, and the block itself was a good top down design. When this set came out, it helped me get through the times after I lost my grandmother to alzimers. So glad I went this route on this expedition back into Magic. It got me back in, and still play and collect today. Original Zendikar.

Lighting bolt lava axis and goblins it was like turn 5 kills alot. Sold it to a competitor for like 200 bucks when the year zendakar went out of standard and needed money to build my new standard deck.

I bought a Tundra and when my Tundra arrived there was a Flooded Strand in the envelope w the Tundra. Wow. A few months later this seller has a Bayou for sale, I bought it, and the Bayou arrived with OoMD. Nice guy.
I remember getting the full art lands was so cool back then . Theses boxes are a HUGE gamble to open up . Very hard to recoup the $800 plus they go for .
@Ok coral yeah I actually have two of those zendikar fat packs sealed to this day . Only reason there still sealed is by accident. Long story but basically I was in the military when I bought them and left them at my folks . When my mom passed away in 2014 my dad had no idea where she had put them . I looked everywhere. In 2018 my sis found them along with some other stuff I had in a big tote in her garage she took by mistake when she moved out ... I still have them to this day sealed 😊

Rudy’s concern about the first box not having any fetchlands half way through was me opening a Guilds of Ravnica box but instead I actually got 0 shocklands and my fears were realized :/

In the last month in paid 250$ for new magic cards from znr to 2xm boxes and just sold 50 of those cards to an online company for 220$ and have like 1000 cards plus to play with so awesome to get all money back with lots of cards to keep playing with for practically free. Some days I just bought one 4$ pack and got a 30$ card. It balances out cause next day bought a pack and got nothing would sell on the site I sell my cards on.
Jsyk if you count the number of commons in a pack, it'll tell you whether there is a foil or anything special at the back. If there's 10 commons there's nothing in the back, if there's 9, then there is a foil.

When I was like 10 I had a 4 charzard pokemon deck sold them for like 100$ two 12 years old. I look back and like wow should have kept those they alot now.

Im pretty sure Expedition Maps are one of the more expensive commons in the set, sitting at 1.79 a card atm. Edit: Foils seem to be going for 9-10. Talk about an opening!

Both fetchlands were below the uncommon "Landbind Ritual" for some reason.
