I know how it feels to be an introvert in a sea of extroverts. Good for you for stepping out. I love to teach but find it difficult to produce anything in that kind of environment. That is the benefit of TH-cam so those of us that can’t work in any other way can stills experience the teaching of the elite artist. Thank you for sharing. Amazing experience for sure! Retreats are always a bit overwhelming and at times create hesitation within the creativity! The museum and the visit to the journaling sales place looked amazing! I would likely not have been able to resist a beautiful leather covered journal. I have not had much success with purchasing vegan products, they tend to react to cold and heat more negativity, cracking and showing wear. Growing up a farm girl we made the most of all natural products. Your use of all the supplies made from recycled packaging and paper is an inspiration to me with using junk mail, old fabrics, found jewelry, it is beautiful and I have cut leather clothing up for junk journal covers and ties to give it new life! Thanks for sharing your lovely journey and experience.❤❤❤

In many tribes of the, Native American, indigenous peoples believe that our ancestors and loved ones who have passed before come to us as dragonflies. I think it is beautiful that you honor your mom with dragonfly wings.💗

How creative and beautiful art that was there and your little art journal is so cute I love the little wraparound that you put on it the blue fighter I really like and the blue flowers wallpaper sample that you had in there. It looks like such a fun creative time.
I love this and want to try leaves with gold and some Klimpt style with some stencils! This will be a wonderful annual treat to which we can look forward! It's touching that you took your mom & dad along with you for company.

Oh my goodness Barbara!!!! What an experience. I too am an introvert. In one way I would love to do something like this, but I know I do not do well in groups, I can’t take classes either. I’ve tried, I get through them, then afterwards I realize I haven’t retained anything I was taught and actually did in class 🤔. Your sweet journal is such a keepsake and the tour of the museum, wow. You are correct when you said how fortunate you are to live where you do
