Wemby has definitely improved his 3-pt shooting. He started roughly at 24% in October, 37% in November, and currently 39% in December. Overall, he’s shooting 36% from the 3pt-line. And he’s shooting at such a high clip, too. Wemby definitely should keep on shooting. He has the potential to develop into a 3-level scorer which will make him so formidable in the future. Also, I’m glad you pointed out the injury prevention by making him more of a perimeter player on the offensive side of the court. He’s already doing so much on the paint on the defensive end so I think the Spurs are being smart with the way they’re developing him especially this early on in his career. The Spurs are probably still waiting for his body to mature and gain more strength. Him camping out on the paint on both sides of the court is just risking him to injury and the Spurs are still just on year 2 of rebuild with him.
When your 7”4 and also one of the highest volume 3pt shooters in the nba, it opens up the entire game. Keep in mind he’s also already the best defender in the nba. The only person who can stop this man is himself
0:58 I’ve heard other former NBA players like K-Mart say they expect his blocks per game to go up instead as Wemby at his young age is blocking shots off of raw talent and athleticism; as he learns the game more he’ll be able to block shots off of reading the floor with instinct given he’s a pretty exceptional playmaker for someone playing at the five. He’s already showing signs the way he disguises his help defence and at the last moment swatting balls out of players trying to go for layups without jumping off the floor 👽🤯
They have 🏰 once he adjusts to the NBA physicality in low paint on transition he is almost unstoppable and if he stays in SA could end up with more assists than Tony Parker.
With all of our second round picks (assuming he’s a second round talent, I haven’t heard his ceiling is super high) I bet we’ll grab him to make him happy.
@@vandpgaming2103Oscar didn't play hoop until he was 15, he was into soccer. He will be probably be taller and with the help of his brother his game will be my guess pretty decent. He definitely won't be a Brony James type, you know all hat no cattle. I'm guessing 7'0"-7' 2"

Wait until Wenbanyama's Lil brother 17 yo 6'8" Oscar gets to the NBA. Hopefully San Antonio can draft him.

Right. D Wade weighed more than that and he’s a whole foot shorter.
