ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਓਹ ਹੋਰ ਕਿੱਧਰੇ ਨਹੀ
ਗਲ਼ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਅਨਜਾਣ ਸੀ ਅਸੀ। ਸਮਜਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ । ਜਦ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਓਣਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਸੀ ਬੁਹਤ ਇੰਸਪਾਇਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਨਗ ਨੇ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ। ਹੁਣ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਨੀ ਗ਼ਰੀਬੀ ਹੈ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ । ਏਨਾ ਜਾਦਾ ਨਸਾ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ । Education ਦੀ quality zero ਹੈ ਕੇਨੈਡਾ। Doctor ਮਿਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ । ਦਵਾਈ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗਵਾ ਕੇ ਖਾਣੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ । ਬਸ ਰੱਬ ਓਹ ਟਾਈਮ ਜਲਦੀ ਲਿਆਵੇ ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਜਲਦੀ ਪੋਂਚ ਜਾਈਏ। ਗੁਜਾਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ ਦੀਆਰੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ । Tax ਅੰਨਾ ਕੈਨੇਡa ਵਿੱਚ। ਕੋਈ 1 ਵੀ ਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੌ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੋਚੇ ਕੇ ਕੇਨੈਡਾ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਫ਼ ਕਰੀਏ।

I am from Punjab and shifted to Bengaluru in 2012 and then to Canada in 2020. In India, if both parents are working, the situation is the same. Let's talk about schools - why did you choose Surrey? Talk to the mainstream, and they will tell you to shift to Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba - you will get better schools. Canada does not suit Chandigarh or similar people. Why did not you talk about corruption, traffic, pollution, and others in India? Can you guarantee fresh air and pure water? I think we want everything our own way. I am suffering from cost of living too but I love Canada. First you need to accept Canada as your country, then Canada will accept you.

I came to Surrey from Winnipeg and I am going back to Calgary because Surrey did not suit me. Overall, Canada is good provided you come with a clear thought process and have the right expectations. Regardless of Canada's economic position and ease of life. Our country is out country. We should try to study well and do everything to settle in India and preferably Punjab. Retire and re-settle in Punjab. In country movement is easy. life is not an unlimited game. Live with culture you belong to and environment you are built for. I realised this long back when I went to Canada that is not a place for me. Although, I went there as a Software professional way back in 2005 when PR was like a piece of cake for us.
