Love love your pieces but I am having the worse problem with what to pour the resin on. I keep trying different things the last being parchment paper in which the paper will not come off. What do you suggest I use and do you have an idea what will take the paper off with. Just hate to throw it out.

Really beautiful! I had no idea why the second resin casting had such a small "waist" and two large round "leaves" but putting the two layers together as a "two tier sculpture" later made perfect sense. Gorgeous colors with crystal edging... a masterpiece!

Amazingly beautiful ! Love the colors and the flow. It would show the colors and sparkle with a low wattage bulb inside even a hanging lamp would be an idea. No matter it's a beautiful creation.....love it !!!

I love the crystals round the top. It gives a beautiful edge as you can come away with some edges which need trimmed. It makes it look finished. Chunky edges are another one that I like but haven't a clue about them "yet"!!! The colours you chose my not be as autumnal as I would have done but lovely as stained glass. I would have had browns and oranges and reds from berries but this is a stunning piece. I really look forward to your next experiment. Thats just what they are as you are not completely in control. Sharon Lindley - Vividdays, oh no, not proficient at this kind of art. I was the boring brush and easel artist. My Doctor who treats my PTSD made me try abstract. That meant colouring outside the lines and possibly getting paint on me. I have painted everything I wear to bed and I resined my best dress. Abstract was a bad word but now I love it and get lost in it. I will let you know if I ever get to fabulous doing it but don’t hold your breath. 😘

Would a tea light candle fit inside?
A led one would but I could put a real candle in it myself due to resin basically being plastic so your sculpture would have to have the right amount of space around it

Great video :) and lovely work! I know what you mean about finding good resin products in the UK! I've been working with resin for 15 years and I still try new ones out. I've a couple of favs for different projects, but I'm always interested to try more as I'm making bigger pieces these days - still love making the teeny ones too though :)

Depends on the time and materials used. I don't add too much onto of that as it just like to make back the money so I can keep buying more supplies to put content out there

It’s all in the timing it’s sound like you need to wait longer before you start to sculpt it. Keep coming back doing a touch test like I show you into he video and only start to move it when it doesn’t stick to you finger. That’s the hard part of sculptures it depend on the brand or resin, temperature abs pigments. Thank you also for a beautiful comment and your have done really week with your English. Hi Sharon I have a? I am doing a drawing on paper in ink gold silver and black I want to put it on a tray wooden,will the ink bleed into the resin if so what do I put on top to stop it from bleeding?? Love this one it’s stunning.
My honest answer is not 100% sure as I haven't explored that much myself. If I was going to tackle it I would do a patch test first and look for something to protect the the ink. I have seen some people put a coat of modpoge over it to protect it. I have also seem some people put a special film over the ink to protect it. I know Kielty inks sell that. I have also seen other put clear tape over the area. I would try a patch test and use a resin that cure quickly you might find it would bleed but I am not skilled in answering this question. Soz and good luck sounds amazing your project.
Just beautiful. can you use alcohol ink to get a similar affect? Would love to make this but my resin colour additives are all powder.
Yes but they will fade quick so I would recommend Resin Tints
So so beautiful! I've watched all your free form videos, and paid particular attention to when you can start sculpting. But everytime I lift up my resin, I get what looks like stretch marks, even though it looks perfectly smooth while flat?! What am I doing wrong? Help help help,as I don't want to give up on such beautiful creations!! 😭
Thanks so much 😊 It sound like you leaving it just too long or not long enough, its when you resin still has some movement its like wrinkly skin? Try waiting another 15 mins and check every 15mins after, you want it firm touch, no finger prints left in but still bending to move and sculpt like soft plastic. Good luck its all about the timing
