Resin Sculpture with Lights. What a Journey this was until I found my happy ending. What started as one project ended up with two sculptures and me searching for the missing umph. Totally amazing as usual. I finished a piece and had set it to wave shape but lost some of my bling in doing so. Watching you UV Resin with added gems has fixed my dilemma. Seeing you manipulate the shape until you get what you want has made me more confident in handling my piece and working it until I'm happy with it. I've even stocked up on masking tape. If you didn't know I was into resin art, my stock of masking tape looks like I'm into budget waxing.
LOL Masking tape is Kind with Resin Sculpting lol, I am glad you have a solution to your bling, its frustrating if you loos some on the part you want to see it so together I feel we will be stocking up with UV Resin also lol. Oh and I love it with or without the lights. I like having the ability to choose from one time to another. If you put them in permanently then you have no choice. I would have done exactly what you did!! Good eye !! 😅🧐🧐🧐

Looks fantastic. Looks great with the crystals. The lights i wouldn't make them a permanent addition to your piece. It's great yyou can take them out. You could try white lights or coloured lights. Its a fantastic piece. Expensive but worth it. Your table centre is like a wave. Such a dramatic talking point. I wouldn't have lights. I would have had a flickering battery tealight so the light changes all the time. Both are beyond me. I'm to scared to make a start on it. But you started small and worked your way up. Maybe I should check out your first again. We do have a 3 week lockdown. Well done. Would you have done it any other way. Crystals are a must. It gives an opulent look. Try a different colour next time. The sea can be green and turquoise. Just a thought. Keep goingvand having fun. Take care and stay safe. 💖💖💖

I love this! I own 3 os the Swarovski 10x10, fish and coral sculptures. This has inspired me to try making water and coral sculptures for my crystal fish scene. One is a anemone and clown fish, one is a sea turtle swimming through coral and the other is a a couple of yellow tang fish. I may need your advice. Thank you! You are so creative.

Absolutely gorgeous 😍 you worked so hard to achieve what you were visualizing and you did a fantastic job. I gasped when a piece broke but using the UV resin and extra stones did the trick you are brilliant. I really love the colors too I also saw water splash. When you were shaping and playing the tape for a few seconds I saw a Beautiful flower with petals slightly slanted as if water made that shape especially with the confetti glass. The only place I could have enough room for a large space like you would be in the basement but winter or summer it's humid I only have cement for the floor down there. It's not my house but rented large apartment. In my craft room I have so much stuff for all my different hobbies not left with too much room to resin bigger pieces 🙃. Hi Sharon another beautiful piece and I love the lights in it but I agree with you about not making the lights a permanent feature it's easy enough to pop them in and take them out when the mood takes you. It would help you out a lot in my opinion for you to tape the paper down to the table while you are sculpting your art. That way you can move the piece without having to worry about the paper moving or things sticking. Same with if you use a cup to mold it tape the paper to the glass that way it doesn't keep moving on you. Preping those I think would help you out and prevent a lot of stress. Your artwork is amazing and I feel your stress when things are all sticking together on you! Not so much in this video but some of your precious videos I was stressed for you! Still came out beautiful as always! Practice makes perfect!

I was so excited to see the second abstract second one, but you only showed the close-ups and turned too quickly, so I could never see what the whole thing looked like, and then you went back to the first one. That smaller one looked like it was amazing. Why didn't you show the whole thing? You can't really tell what it looks like from only close-ups with spinning. It moved too much and I could not tell what the finished product looked like. I could see what a labor of love the first one was, and ultimately I thought you went overboard. I would have used just the 3 pieces because with all 4, it took away from the beauty of the shapes and made it look too busy. However, I really love your work. Disappointed not to get to see both pieces as a whole when finished.

Just stunning!! I tried a sculpture yesterday. I noticed there were what looks like 'stretch marks on it before I put it over my vase. Do you know what this is? And what to do to avoid it? Thanks

Wow, wow, wow as you said, stunning. Love the way you used the UV resin with the extra crystals and trailed the lights throughout the first piece and that they are removable. Yes you can! but the pigment may fade or yellow if clear, make sure you do your research fro time the best resin for outdoors.

Interesting. At first, I didn't really 'get' your process and I didn't hold out a lot of hope for the finished sculpture. But, the more I watched, the more I liked it, and once you got the LED lights in, I was in love! REALLY NICE job. Congrats!

Yep I would imagine so, and what you would have to charge people can't really afford right now, or complain about the price even if they could afford. You differently have a God given talent for it they are gorgeous.

It's absolutely beautiful Sharon, I made a tea light holder from a tissue soaked in resin and that was bad enough but your sculpture is huge and I really felt your struggle lol x
