I have been following precious plastic since the version 1.0 and made my self a basic shredder and using it for more than 2 years. I can say this WEIMA CE certified shredder version is an absolute monster. Hope i will built this one soon. Precious Plastic Turkey
@@derphyn That's exactly the reason I want them to start focusing on PVC, everyone focuses on easy to recycle plastics like PP, HDPE, LDPE, and even PET, but they stay away from PVC due to the difficulty on processing it
Soda and water bottle caps are colorful and recyclable! Contact a few schools and have the children save them for you. You could provide them with a shipping label on your shipping account so it doesn't cost them anything but time, and maybe in return, you could make them something for their classrooms, like pens, pencils or something else small. Another thing that you could make is keychains. You could make a mermaid tail one, a fish, a star, a 4 leaf clover, a horseshoe... Children's eating utensils, animal food bowls, small toys for children like airplanes, dinosaurs, animals... the possibilities are endless!
Make chess sets with the plastic. You would need to separate the colours to make only white pieces and only black pieces. Or at least light and dark sets.
This project is amazing! What if you make materials for 3 D printing. I mean you are already doing this with a "homemade 3 D printer". Also you could catch the attention of an another target audience with cheap recycled material in wire shaped form for their machines. If you involve them into your recycling comunity you can exchange experiences for production, and earn some publicity.

looks really nice, maybe a variable transmission would fit well for this solution ? love from Project kamp
would be good to see you make some projects using PVC pipes/plastic
Great idea. I gather, however, that PVC makes rather toxic vapors when heated, so please proceed with care.
