I LOVE CROCHET WITH ME/ TEACHING WHILE CROCHETING BECAUSE I WATCH WHILE CROCHETING SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. It feels like we’re in a crochet club
Came from your top tutorial on yt and your vids are so fun and helpful I hope you continue!! You’re so easy to follow and I made my very first piece thanks to your help. Would love to see a bag or more light weight summer fits!
i subscribed immediately becuase i love your vibes!! and then i saw that you're t1d too so now im locked in for sure!!!! very excited to deep dive into your content!!
I've been watching Bridgerton, Law and Order: SVU, and New Girl while crocheting recently. I'm not sure if you've done this before but maybe you could make a granny square tote bag tutorial (including showing how to stitch together)!

lol same I never have purchased stitch markers, I’ve been crocheting for like 2-4 years now and never used them, I used yarn at first still do but now I’m using hair pins lol 😁😁
Congrats on the new channel! So proud 🥹 I loved watching this & love the chill vibes. You made making the shorts look so much easier. Can’t wait to see your next videos 💕
Im working on these now!! (white and pastel pink and purple yarn so excited!!) But I would love to see a pattern for a light sweater. If you've seen the viral evil eye sweater I mean something like that but a bit different. I really like the style and I've made it already but I like to see it with maybe a flower or something instead of the eye would be so cute!
At the beginning rows after the waist, are you going into the top of each of the ridges going around or you’re also going in between the ridges. I’m a bit confused it’s hard to tell
this might be weird lol but i love your voice! you're so soft spoken. you sound nice?? like a nice person. idk if that makes sense. but you just *sound* like you're a kind person lol. anyway, i love the turtorial/crochet with you! it was awesome to follow along. i'm making my shorts right now!
Hia, I've just found your channel and I'm enjoying it. I agree that you have a lovely voice. Can I hazard a guess that you're from Pembrokeshire? I grew up there and find the accent very familiar and comforting. @@leniscrochet
Ive been kinda trying them on as i go, i havent split them yet but i feel like in front is a good length but the backside is only halfway covering. Should i not worry about this and keep continuing cause itll fix when i split it?
I am doing them as well and I had the same question, but I kept going and now I have already split them and finished one leg and it covers the back side perfectly (in the video she makes 5 rows per leg but I did 7 to make sure I was comfortable with the length of the back), keep trying them on to check your progress and see how you like it!
How can i tell when the length is right to start adding the leg holes? (Ik it depends also if u want high or low waist, but i mean for the bottom part…) Like should it be reaching the bottom of my butt when i start adding the leg holes?
I know you are asking the creator but it's honestly wherever you feel most comfortable adding it. I'm making these, & I don't want the leg holes to be too far up because it would just be like a forever wedgie... you need to give a bit of room for movement. So all I can say is try them on as you go.. sit down in them, try squatting, laying down, or any other things you would usually do.
personally I waited until the front covered my cooter cat, the shorts were a good length in the front but the back didn't cover as much as the front did but I didn't mind it.
Question! I’m new to crocheting so still learning some things. When you increase one row and then the next row you don’t, i was wondering if you crochet on the increase stitch in the next row or do you skip over it?
@@mareehanoor738 I’m sorry if this sounds dumb but what do you mean exactly? I keep restarting my shorts because the seam isn’t a straight line. Also do I chain 1 then turn the whole way down?
I have bought Four white Balls and Four red Balls! It turned out to be wayyyyy to much! I used some hello Cotton yarn and I think 3 of each Color (i used red and white) would have been enough☺️ hope this helps!
I used the same size yarn but a 3.5mm hook and it turned out really holy, like I can see the underwear through the shorts, how do I fix it please someone help😭😭
you must just have really tight tension, or you are using a small hook. a wash should fix it, look on ur yarn packaging to see if you can put it in the washing machine or not. (if not hand wash!)
when you reach the end of a row, chain one, then turn your work, if you carry on going round and round, that is what will make your shorts look "diagonal"
it could be yes but that doesn’t mean you need to stop using acrylic, id just recommend blocking or steaming the clothes so they’re less bunched up and that should solve the stiffness issue!

I love this style video too, a lot of the tutorials I've watched are soooooo slow 😅
I have never seen your tik tok as I don't use the app but I would love for you to keep making videos. You're quite talented.

literallyyy losing my mind trying to connect the two ends of the waistband, i feel like that part should be one of the easy parts but im struggling

are these beginner friendly? trying to get into crocheting 🥰
Id say to look into a more detailed tutorial
Question! I’m new to crocheting so still learning some things. When you increase one row and then the next row you don’t, i was wondering if you crochet on the increase stitch in the next row or do you skip over it?
You crochet the increase stitches on the no increase row
@@hailie8765 ok thank you so much!!
How the flip did you make the line/crease through the middle :(
by chaining and connecting to the other side
@@grace-yv8gj from the middle, youre supposed to chain to the other side and just crochet it around?
@@mareehanoor738 I’m sorry if this sounds dumb but what do you mean exactly? I keep restarting my shorts because the seam isn’t a straight line. Also do I chain 1 then turn the whole way down?

Where’s your blue sweater from? 😍
Did you make your blue sweater? If not I'd love to know where you bought it!
What stch is it for the 4 rows at the top
I think the first 4 rows is double crochet and then the fifth row is the increase on the sides and then normal again and then you repeat
Coup anyone tell me an approximate mass for how much yarn they used for these shorts coz I’m not sure how high to buy
I have bought Four white Balls and Four red Balls! It turned out to be wayyyyy to much! I used some hello Cotton yarn and I think 3 of each Color (i used red and white) would have been enough☺️ hope this helps!
@@Liya1511how many grams were your yarn balls?
What hook did you use because I follow your instructions and my pant look so big
4mm
What weight yarn did you use?
When ur doing the leg part do u still increase??
you can if you want to but i didn’t in this video!
@@leniscrochet okayy thank youu!!
did you block these shorts afterwards??
I used the same size yarn but a 3.5mm hook and it turned out really holy, like I can see the underwear through the shorts, how do I fix it please someone help😭😭
it might be your tension maybe try making the stitches tighter with your tension if that makes sense, or just try a 4 mm hook
You might have your just unravel it all and start over. The comment above is correct, try using the corresponding hook size that’s on the yarn
Try using linked double crochet stitches
how much yarn did you use for this?? i can’t wait to make them!!
i used about 350g in the end i think!
how much yarn did you use?
about 250g!
@@leniscrochetthank you!
Ive got so far on the shorts. But...my seam is not straight. Do i do something wrong?
did you turn your work or just work around in circles as you’re meant to turn your work!
My crochet clothes end up pretty stiff, is it because i use acrylic yarn?
you must just have really tight tension, or you are using a small hook.
a wash should fix it, look on ur yarn packaging to see if you can put it in the washing machine or not. (if not hand wash!)
My line the back is diagonal instead of straight down 😫
Same 😭😭
@@jrrose8777 I ended up redoing it now it’s straight down 😂 I started one ch off at the beginning of the waist

@@niamhward1259 hey I had ended up re doing it idk what I was doing wrong but I figure it out I’ve already made 2 shorts 🤗
How to make your stitches increase?I can't understand how is that😭😭
you place two dc in one stitch!
My crochet clothes end up pretty stiff, is it because i use acrylic yarn?
Might also be your tension. Try sizing up a hook
