A few days before I was being released from prison after serving 24 years I was in prayer asking the Lord what I was going to do about clothes because I had only what I was wearing to take out with me and I was worried about clothes to wear for job interviews and where I would get the money for them. Not only did my brother provide me clothes the day of my release but the program I paroled to had just received a massive haul of donations from Ann Taylor, everything from women's suits, skirts, shirts shoes accessories coats handbags with outrageous price tags. The boxes were stacked to the ceiling and the program director asked for volunteers to help sort through them to prepare them for distribution to the women coming home. I volunteered for weeks and she told me that at the end of each day as much as I could carry out I could keep. Every day that I volunteered I left with a backpack of clothes until I had a full wardrobe of business clothes and I still wear them 3 years later. Exceedingly abundantly more than I could ever have imagined. God is awesome and He provides for his children.
Im a 5 month old bby Christian and currently struggling with Trusting Him. I struggle with trusting people and letting go/letting God. It's not a coincidence first thing I see on YT is this video, God works in mysterious ways. My life has changed entirely these last 5 months than in the past 4 years. Christ has healed my heart and my home! He has blessed my business abundantly more than Ive ever done on my own. He is so good and im thankful I watched this video.
In 2018 at the age of 11 I got diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma, a type of cancer stage two and I was ready to be sent but I knew that if it was Gods will I could be healed that instant, I mean my dad would pray for people in the hospital and they would heal instantly but we also knew that if it was his will that I would go to heaven and whatever the outcome was I put my life in Gods hands trusting him and I was healed. I did have to go through the whole process of chemo for two years and it was hard but threw it all I knew the only way I could come out, was trusting God, having faith that he will always deliver and even through the process I had a stage where I came extremely depressed. Then I heard a sermon on TH-cam, and the preacher said you wouldn’t want a tomato that’s still green you would want it right, good, red juicy, and tasty. Sometimes you have to go to a process so you can eat that fruit for other people, so they can trust from your own testimony, so his name could be exalted and it still impacts me to this day.
Recently, I have been getting fights with my parents and my relationship with God has just kind of fallen a little bit and this week’s podcast episode literally is what I needed. I’m not even gonna lie to what I needed.
I've been going through a really rough past couple of months and it has been so hard to trust what Jesus is doing in my life. 2 years ago I got myself in the deepest hole that I didn't think was possible to get out of. I claimed to be religious, but never had a relationship with Jesus. Now I am sharing the gospel with my friends and reading my Bible before school, praying every chance that I get. Never in a million years would I think that I would be here. I was praying to God yesterday, feeling lost and confused about my path as a teenager. I told Him I wanted to feel His presence and assured He was listening, so I asked Him to say 'Hi' if He was there. Right then, I heard my neighbor say 'Hii!' outside my open door. This left me amazed and moved, feeling like it was a sign that God was listening and reassuring me. Dang I’m sorry Braxton that you hade to go through all that with your girlfriend. Been praying for you, and I’m so glade that the lord came through. God is so good and I believe he uses situations for his glory to show us that he is the God of restoration and comfort and he shows us that he is an everlasting rock that never fails. And man just like his word says that he put us in these places to test our faith and to show us that he will come through. And for anyone going through anything, i hope you know that you are not alone. That what ever you’re praying for is heard by the lord, because specific prayers will lead to the specific glory! And prayer and confession brings healing. Also People cant pray for you if you they don’t know what’s happening inside you….I know it hard and scary to tell someone what you’re going through, but it’s so powerful when you confess it because in doing that it allows God to show up in a specific way. Just like what Braxton hade to go through…Your prayers mean something, there not just going to the ceiling then falling rihgt back. No, you are speaking to the creator of the universe and moving his heart on you, on your friends, family and brother and sister in Christ. The Lord has been incredible with me. He’s done too much for me to write. All my prayers have been answered, he’s in the works as I type this. Nonstop. I am full of gratitude and peace. I pray that the Lord continues to work in all of us until his arrival.
God has spoken to me in so many different ways today. And most say this: that He was with me and he never left and that he forgave me!! He. Forgave. Me. That is the best gift. Yes God used this video to speak to me! I’ve been confused and I couldn’t understand why things were going the way they were. I didn’t know why I couldn’t feel God’s presence and I thought it was my fault. But He was so sweet and told me it wasn’t my fault and taught me that He isn’t a feeling. Sunday my pastor talked about stress and that we shouldn’t stress , worry , or be anxious because God is in control and we have him and you also talk about God having control. I’m saying this because me and my fiancé got our first place and are waiting to sign the lease ( not moving in with one another till after the wedding in 32 days) but I have been stressing about being able to pay for stuff we still need ( W/D and so on ) we both still live with our parents and have never been on our own and I just need help praying from everyone that sees this. ive been struggling with anxious thoughts and a depressive mindset for about 2 weeks and literally as it started to get worse (yesterday) i prayed that GOD may dim my thoughts and to help me be grateful for each day i wake up.. then today as i woke up i was filled with peace and i wasn’t disappointed that i woke up today… proves that GOD can answer prayers very quickly but some may take time.. just trust in HIM!!

I have been going through a breakup that I never would have expected coming. It has wrecked me in so many more ways than I ever could’ve imagined and left me questioning why God allowed this to happen. Just last week a friend of mine and I decided to start reading through proverbs all the way through and we read proverbs 3:5-6. I’ve also recently joined a Bible study group and they went over proverbs 3:5-6. Even as I was driving and praying today that verse kept popping up in my mind. I feel like the Lord keeps reminding me of this verse to show me that I need to keep trusting Him in what He’s doing even when I can’t see it. Thank you Braxten for sharing that message! Now the Lord has made me strong for those who are weak, something I thought I would never be able to do. Put your faith in him.
I know many people watch your videos and God intends for His messages to touch everyone’s heart but I was truly not expecting when I clicked on this video, to hear you mention Proverbs 5 and for it to resonate with me. I feel like you putting out this message, is God telling me to listen. I can admit that I have been struggling with understanding what my plans are on this life, what truly is my career, what is my path? I still do not truly understand but I have been praying and this episode has clicked in my head to just trust Him and continue to have big faith and understand that His plans are always to prosper me and not harm me. God has done a lot for me in this year alone. I’m a new Christian maybe just over a year of going to church and maybe a couple months of actually picking up my cross. God delivered me from my addition to smoking. Also he helped a lot with my childhood trauma, I had a lot of anger and hate in my heart and he took it away from me. Since then it feels like I now have the capacity to allow love into my life, an area I didn’t even know needed restoration. Tbh it would be a novel if I listed everything God has done for me in just this year alone. My biggest struggle lately has been trusting God, even tho he has done so much for me I still find myself stressing and worrying about everything. Last night I read Galatians, and I felt more clarity on another question I had but now more confused about something else. Then God said to me “ lean not on your own understanding” must’ve heard it like 3 times yesterday, and now in this video. God really does speak to us all the time lol. Also $5 gas *laughs (lives in Southern California)*
I never shared my testimony until now, but i always felt like i had to tell someone so here it is. as a kid i was raised by christians but never fully exposed to it because both my parents liked being with God in private, away from all 5 of their daughters. being a kid with their moms phone and sisters laptop i was exposed to a lot of things (cursing, pornography, witchcraft, bullying, etc.) I never thought it would affect me but now that i know the Truth, i know it affected me a lot. I was cursing from 3rd grade all the way til 9th grade (the year i got saved), and watched porn for a little less than that, and was probably very rude around most of my life. In 8th i began to smoke and drink because of the bad influences around me and i thought id be able to do those things and still be full of life, it instead drained me but i never noticed because i was too into the temporary happiness. For a whole year and a half i was addicted-it may not be as much as others but it was the same self sabotage- it felt very long because of the amount of distress i was in. July 2023(summer after 8th grade) my mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer and it shook me and thats when i started smoking even more than i was before and i ended up disassociating and not helping anyone and acting out. I was rude to my mom, the rest of my family, and friends. I had thought my mom didnt notice my hurt or anger that much bc i was always so high, but i now know her last thoughts about me was that i was careless, she knew my change. A few months later pass and she also passed with it. i was shattered, heartbroken, the fact that the only person i could run to was gone i broke and didnt know what to do. I was at rock bottom, still smoking, still being the rude person i was because i was depressed with no one to really talk to. i then remembered my mom, the one person i knew who loved God so much, she didnt even worry when she was sick, she trusted God that much. I realized that God is the rock and i need to be better. fast forward february 2024 only 2 months after my mommy passed, i finally quit with the weed and drinking. I was done for good. I grew and grew with God, i ended up with a lot less friends but i know now that they were no good for me anyway. Now, as im still growing, i get to be blessed by Gods presence and grace, it is He who gives me strength. Today makes 200 days or being sober which also makes it 200 days of me beginning in my walk with Christ. He is the way the truth and the life. I’m glad my mom died, not because she was bad, but because of her faith in the Lord planted that seed and after she passed that seed started growing when i met Him at rock bottom. He saved me from depression and addiction. God is so good ❤

Jesus saved me from my feeling of meaninglessness in life, shame for abusing my body, and such bitterness and hatred being the middle child, to now where I can find my identity safe in Christ, and God’s been so good, blessing my family relationships and making them so much more wholesome and healthy compared to when He wasn’t at the centre.
The lord promised me something back in July and it hasn't come yet but I am fully trusting Him and I have zero doubt that it will come when the time is right. This week's episode was really encouraging, thank you.
I know this is an older video but I felt I needed to listen to it. I’m currently in tech school for the Air Force to be a crew chief, I’ve been failing my classes and got washed back. I’ve been really hard on myself and questioning God during this time… this really helped me open my heart and eyes to trust the lord.

God has spoken to me in so many different ways today. And most say this: that He was with me and he never left and that he forgave me!! He. Forgave. Me. That is the best gift. Yes God used this video to speak to me! I’ve been confused and I couldn’t understand why things were going the way they were. I didn’t know why I couldn’t feel God’s presence and I thought it was my fault. But He was so sweet and told me it wasn’t my fault and taught me that He isn’t a feeling. With this video God is telling me I don’t have to understand, I only have to trust He knows what he’s doing and that He keeps his promises. God loves you , believe it he really does❤

Idk if you will see this because I like to listen to your videos on Monday while at work. Sunday my pastor talked about stress and that we shouldn’t stress , worry , or be anxious because God is in control and we have him and you also talk about God having control. I’m saying this because me and my fiancé got our first place and are waiting to sign the lease ( not moving in with one another till after the wedding in 32 days) but I have been stressing about being able to pay for stuff we still need ( W/D and so on ) we both still live with our parents and have never been on our own and I just need help praying from everyone that sees this. In the past week i have seen proverbs 3:5-6 like 15 times.This was definitely for me!!!
ive been struggling with anxious thoughts and a depressive mindset for about 2 weeks and literally as it started to get worse (yesterday) i prayed that GOD may dim my thoughts and to help me be grateful for each day i wake up.. then today as i woke up i was filled with peace and i wasn’t disappointed that i woke up today… proves that GOD can answer prayers very quickly but some may take time.. just trust in HIM!!
I’m leading out a Bible study today with young people and watching this video gave me some powerful points that’s would go perfectly along with the question we are studying. Praise the Lord

I have been going through a breakup that I never would have expected coming. It has wrecked me in so many more ways than I ever could’ve imagined and left me questioning why God allowed this to happen. Just last week a friend of mine and I decided to start reading through proverbs all the way through and we read proverbs 3:5-6. I’ve also recently joined a Bible study group and they went over proverbs 3:5-6. Even as I was driving and praying today that verse kept popping up in my mind. I feel like the Lord keeps reminding me of this verse to show me that I need to keep trusting Him in what He’s doing even when I can’t see it. Thank you Braxten for sharing that message! Now the Lord has made me strong for those who are weak, something I thought I would never be able to do. Put your faith in him.

I feel like you putting out this message, is God telling me to listen. I can admit that I have been struggling with understanding what my plans are on this life, what truly is my career, what is my path? God has done a lot for me in this year alone. I’m a new Christian maybe just over a year of going to church and maybe a couple months of actually picking up my cross. God delivered me from my addition to smoking. Also he helped a lot with my childhood trauma, I had a lot of anger and hate in my heart and he took it away from me. Since then it feels like I now have the capacity to allow love into my life, an area I didn’t even know needed restoration. Tbh it would be a novel if I listed everything God has done for me in just this year alone. My biggest struggle lately has been trusting God, even tho he has done so much for me I still find myself stressing and worrying about everything. Last night I read Galatians, and I felt more clarity on another question I had but now more confused about something else. Then God said to me “ lean not on your own understanding” must’ve heard it like 3 times yesterday, and now in this video. God really does speak to us all the time lol. Also $5 gas *laughs (lives in Southern California)*

I never shared my testimony until now, but i always felt like i had to tell someone so here it is. as a kid i was raised by christians but never fully exposed to it because both my parents liked being with God in private, away from all 5 of their daughters. being a kid with their moms phone and sisters laptop i was exposed to a lot of things (cursing, pornography, witchcraft, bullying, etc.) I never thought it would affect me but now that i know the Truth, i know it affected me a lot. I was cursing from 3rd grade all
the way til 9th grade (the year i got saved), and watched porn for a little less than that, and was probably very rude around most of my life. In 8th i began to smoke and drink because of the bad influences around me and i thought id be able to do those things and still be full of life, it instead drained me but i never noticed because i was too into the temporary happiness. For a whole year and a half i was addicted-it may not be as much as others but it was the same self sabotage- it felt very long because of the amount of distress i was in. July 2023(summer after 8th grade) my mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer and it shook me and thats when i started smoking even more than i was before and i ended up disassociating and not helping anyone and acting out. I was rude to my mom, the rest of my family, and friends. I had thought my mom didnt notice my hurt or anger that much bc i was always so high, but i now know her last thoughts about me was that i was careless, she knew my change. A few months later pass and she also passed with it. i was shattered, heartbroken, the fact that the only person i could run to was gone i broke and didnt know what to do. I was at rock bottom, still smoking, still being the rude person i was because i was depressed with no one to really talk to. i then remembered my mom, the one person i knew who loved God so much, she didnt even worry when she was sick, she trusted God that much. I realized that God is the rock and i need to be better. fast forward february 2024 only 2 months after my mommy passed, i finally quit with the weed and drinking. I was done for good. I grew and grew with God, i ended up with a lot less friends but i know now that they were no good for me anyway. Now, as im still growing, i get to be blessed by Gods presence and grace, it is He who gives me strength. Today makes 200 days or being sober which also makes it 200 days of me beginning in my walk with Christ. He is the way the truth and the life. I’m glad my mom died, not because she was bad, but because of her faith in the Lord planted that seed and after she passed that seed started growing when i met Him at rock bottom. He saved me from depression and addiction. God is so good ❤
