Insert middle finger and curl viciously while holding tight and keeping control of the wrist with your open hand grab him by the leg for better leverage then thrust in two more fingers if he is still wiggling your enemy he won’t be able to move
exactly,i practice jujitsu and if you exert your power into a low kick,it will either sweep them on the ground or break their leg if you do it corrrectly
I've sparred with a lot of Taekwondo guys, and yes, it is devestating. It hurts like a bitch and completely winds you if they land one, if someone landed one in a real fight going full force, I have no doubt it would break ribs.
The word "SAMBO" is an acronym for SAMooborona Bez Oruzhiya, which literally translates as "self-defense without weapons, Sambo has roots in Japanese judo, international styles of wrestling, plus traditional folk styles of wrestling such as: Armenian Kokh, Georgian Chidaoba, Moldavian Trîntǎ, Tatar Köräş, Uzbek Kurash, Mongolian Khapsagay and Azerbaijani Gulesh.
Oooh, sorry, I was thinking of the kick haha. I use the reverse heel hook a lot when my opponent's hands are high. Foot locks are cool though. Nobody really expects them. I REALLY like the arm bar too. Sometimes I'll set up a triangle and arm bar and triangle them at the same time.
thank you for making me a smarter person, i appreaciate people who give simpel friendly explenations and actually know what they're saying, unlike 90% of youtube's community. so again: thank you verry much!
Of course it's allowed. The problem is that it leaves you much more open for takedowns than other kicks. Right now the only people you see using them are specialists like Cung Le. In the future, though, we might see it more often if fighters find a use for it.
He brought me here too. God, I wish there was somebody in the UFC that fought like Dragunov... that would be so sick to see. I think Rousimar Palhares is probably as close as we're going to get.
I may be mistaken, but my own experience in combat arts with 22 years in law enforcement leads me to believe that both the calf crush and scissor take down as depicted rely far too much on perfect positioning and overly complicated full body fine motor skills, thereby implying that their effective execution is very heavily dependent on the - for lack of a better term - "cooperation" of the opponent, who if you ask me is anything but likely to cooperate about assuming an even marginally ideal position for an effective implementation to be successfully employed, let alone even attempted. Sorry, not prejudging the effectiveness of Sambo here, but they just look to me like recipes for possible disaster and a major backfire waiting to happen. At more than one point in the execution of each tactic it seems to me that the practitioner is in very nearly as vulnerable a position as the opponent. I have always found that simple, direct, hard, and quick execution is invariably the only way to go in any situation involving the use of physical force or contact. My two cents observation, based on experience - take it for what it's worth.
As sambo practitioner, they do work on a resisting opponent but you have be good, both at execution and at knowing when the position is right so you can use them, the scissor takedown quite an advanced move, the calf crush on the other hand is not too hard to pull off when you happen to be in the right position, the thing in grappling is that there are a shit ton of different moves from the same or sameish position, an opponent can only defend a few of them at time so there is allways something that will work
that's a poor hip-toss, or O-Goshi (judo). you're leaning over too far when you hit, so if the guy turns just a bit, it forces you to over commit & you are on bottom.
@chezchez31 judo is the major basis in sambo, then added with karate and regular stand up techniques and wrestling from all over eastern europe, traditional folk wrestling kind
I don't know which I like more, this or Pencak Silat (/w karambit) which is what I train in mixed with boxing, primarily. and some Wing Chung (basic stuff, I'm not that good at it) I'm a competent boxer, though, but I'd LOVE to know something like this. I know a tad of aikido and Krav Maga as well but I think this + boxing + judo + some MBC would basically make you really solid for real-life combative self defense situations.

The side kick looks devastating.
it is,the most effective(i think) is a round house to the upper thigh
Ostap Hnatyuk i do taekwondo as well and if u do a roundhouse kick to the side of the knee its pretty devastating

Great choice of thumbnail
So this is how Fedor and Khabib got so good.
You can break bones with the scissor take down. Be careful drilling it with a partner. Ina fight it's great though.
Love your name Hahah.
that takedown is also perfect for setting up a reverse heel hook.
Why would you reverse heel hook someone on the ground? That doesn't work. I do love the reverse heel hook standing though.
Im talking about the submission, I do Brazilian jujitsu and it, along with the arm bar, is my favorite submission.
