I agree with having Rick saying their fucking with the wrong people adds a lot of punch to what he's saying. I don't know why AMC censored that when they let Breaking Bad say fuck a few times per season and they even said it on Fear The Walking Dead. Kind of lame
I think the argument that AMC being allowed to show Negan bashing Glenn and Abe into scrambled eggs but not being able to swear, is a very good point! Shows like Black Sails, Outlander and Peaky Blinders have a realistic amount of swearing! It just annoys me that when someone has just been bitten for example, they're like "oh no! Goddamnit!" whereas people would realistically go full comic Negan! Also, Madison's f-bomb in Fear is underrated! I found it a lot better than Nick's!
The Negan speech at the end of season 6/beginning season 7 is a whole different deal with him swearing. It added a lot to that scene. Good topic choice, interesting.
They shouldn't have cut Rick's f-bomb in that episode. Though, I do think the final showdown in TWD's final episode, when Daryl said to Pamela Milton "You built this place to be like the old world, that was the fucking problem." The impact of that sentence would've been a lot less than it was if he had have said "bloody"
Brian Achim I've heard the f-bomb on syfy shows and I'm pretty sure I've heard it on fx and I've seen movies on either IFC, BBC America or FXX that weren't edited for language. The issue with twd could have something to do with AMC or maybe it's the producers of the show or maybe they don't want to scare off advertisers.
Yeah, a television has a thing over here in the US where your always expecting kids to be watching and you dont want them listening in. Generally speaking i dont really see the point in conveying my emotions through phrases so i dont really curse myself, but i can see why tons of people do, and like you said, in media it can really make or break a cinematic moment or make you think of a character in a certain way. I dont even watch walking dead or read the comics, i only have played the games. But i have recently gotten addicted to your channel and your great topics even if it can be weird without context of events and characters. Keep it up bro.
It's nice that you can appreciate the value that swearing can provide even though you don't do it yourself. Thanks for supporting the channel. I also find it interesting that you play the game but don't watch the show/read the comics, I started with the game first myself and then decided to give the TV show a go not long after.
I agree they should allow more swearing because everything you said on the video is spot on and the only thing i got to add is this like amc airs the walking dead like 9.00pm and that is at the night time and must kids would be at bed at that time as they got school on monday and the walking dead is an adult show to begin with. Let me explain before anyone attacks me. I mean there are a few scenes in the walking dead are 18+ i mean the making out session scenes. I know kids watches the walking dead anyways but my main point is that they are allowed to watch those scenes but characters can't swaer is just silly to me.
When Rick said that in season 4, I got really excited and could'nt wait till the next season. I really agree about all that you were saying. Keep going, i love your vids❤
That scene in the boxcar was the best scene in the entire show. The gang was all finally reunited, and somebody thought it was a good idea to herd them into a boxcar? Of course, Gareth didn't know who they were, but still.
You know Andrew Lincoln think it's ridiculous that he can't curse. They revealed that he refused to say "screwing with with the wrong people" more then once because it wasn't in the script. So in the other shoots he said "fucking with the wrong people" and we got the one with screwing. They did the same thing in 801 Mercy, when Rick was making his countdown and then started shooting. He counted from 10 to 7 and then said "fuck it" and started shooting. Also this shoot without the cursing was only made once and the rest included fuck. Also Jeffrey Dean Morgan curses in all the scenes with his co stars when the camera isn't on him so that they'll get the full Negan.
ah fair enough, I guess it's because I always hear people say the word "cursing" a lot on American TV instead of swearing, which I why I thought it was the more commonly used term.
predatoure No problem, because the US is so big, but usually TV shows and movies are filmed in LA or some other largely populated place, so it can be hard to draw a 100% accurate assumption.
For the most part, I think it does depend on where you are. I have heard it called "cursing," "swearing," "cussing," "saying four letter words," "saying George Carlin words," "saying dirty words," and "saying wirty dirds." That last one is like they don't even want to say, "dirty words," so, they switch the letters around. I'm not even sure how to really spell it either. There are probably other words and phrases I have heard, but just in my small hometown, I have heard all of the ones I listed in this post. It almost seems there are more words and phrases describing it than there are actual cuss words. My hometown is weird though. The one word you don't want to say in public is GD. You start to get the feeling you've gone back in time to the Salem Witch Trials. People will descend on you, surround you, and make sure you know about what the Bible says about that. They are really strange about that in my hometown. I do still hear people saying it, but only when around others who say it too. It is like there are two opposing cultures here and both avoid each other like the plague.
I'm American and from what I see of our culture, it is kind of backwards. When it comes to sex, that is so taboo that there are people who want no nudity ever, even in art. John Ashcroft covered nude statues when he was part of the Bush administration. Violence and gore, though, are part of everyday life and not nearly as censored here. Kids in school face the worst real life violence, but nothing is ever done about that. Yet, in some areas of the country, they ban sex education in favor of "abstinence only" education, which has proven to not work and end up with more STDs and more teen pregnancies. Swearing seems to be a big cultural taboo too. If you pay close attention, The Talking Dead has a censor that doesn't let them say a single swear word. After watching a show that had swearing in it, the show talking about that show cannot have any swearing in it. I have always thought that was strange. All of this together seems to add up to mixed up and backwards priorities. Swearing at the right time makes an impact. I don't understand the censorship of something that isn't going to hurt anyone. P.S. I never knew the DVD versions of the show had different dialogue at times.
This was really interesting to read. There's so much I didn't know about the US, so thanks for sharing. To me, not having sex education in some schools seems a bit crazy, as pretty much all schools over here must teach it (although our teenage pregnancy rates are still really high - so you could argue it doesn't really do a lot) I didn't realise The Talking Dead doesn't allow any swear words at all, which it strange when I'm presuming it airs after the show quite late at night? I have noticed that compared to the UK, America does seem to take a lot more offence to swearing than we do. Swearing isn't really a taboo thing here, and I'd argue you'd actually be in the small minority if your someone you doesn't swear in the UK. I would definitely be more worried about censoring extreme violence than bad language, but like you said it seems most American TV shows have their priorities backwards. And I only found out about the difference on DVD after I found a clip of the censored version of the season 4 finale on TH-cam not too long ago.
Every culture has its own contradictions, the US has a tendency to internal and external preachiness but more in a do as I say not as I do manner. Sex on TV, even sex ed in schools, both taboo but the US is a front runner in creating and consuming pornography. Then there's the war on drugs which has created misery throughout the world, biggest market for those drugs...yep the US. Go a bit further back and there was the ridiculous prohibition era, maybe it's all based in the puritanical roots of the US. The one constant is that as soon as any form of prohibition comes in then there is money to be made and that seems to 'trump' everything else.
Idk why you chose the version where Rick says Fuck one time bc the scene where Megan Kills Abraham and Glenn and the uncensored version has like 40 F bombs and is MASSIVELY cooler
The Walking Dead is on AMC which is a cable channel. So they are not bound by the swearing laws (from the FCC). theoretically, they've always been able to swear, unless AMC says no. Ultimately, it turns into, "What can we get away with saying and still have advertisers want to buy ad space for commercials during the show?" However, a lot of the Negan scenes were shot twice. Once with swearing (for the home release) and once without. So good on Jeffery Dean Morgan who had to learn 2 versions of a lot of scenes.
I've also heard that's why Abraham says some uniquely phrased swear words. Funny, but also very identifiable that his swearing was censored by the network.
I think Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul do a great job saving the F-bomb for moments that matter. Moments like Walt visceral "Fuck you" to Gretchen, Jesse's "Get the fuck out of here and never come back" to Walt, Jimmy's "lying, miserable pig fucker" insult to Howard, as well as both Howard and Kim's respective "Fuck you, Jimmy" lines are just a few examples of using it in ways that make these moments hit like a truck.
I feel like the show should have let some F-bombs slide in lines like “they’re fucking with the wrong people”, in that line especially it really helps convey the intensity and gravity of the situation.
The Walking Dead, where it’s ok to show a guy brutally getting his head bashed in by a baseball bat, eye popping out and everything But nooo, never say Fuuuuck, that’s too far I mean like Negan says every other bad word and says a ton of sexual rude stuff, so what the fuck? Oh sorry, f*ck I mean Breaking Bad has some f-bombs here in there, it’s not that bad. It can enhance the feel like you said, sometimes it’s good to write it bc it feels geniune. Plus it could just feel cringey when it’s blatantly censored
My two roommates litter every sentence of their speech with swearing and it has literally no impact because they overuse it. It shows a lack of diversity and breadth in their speech, as well as attempting to consistently keep an "edge" in the fact they are saying it. (As you can tell based on my opinion, I don't swear.) In _TWD_ , the selective usage of the F-word in very specific places (as for example the Season 4 finale)....has so much weight and power because it was never heard to that point. It is epic and has impact/gravitas. And again, that's only if you have the BluRay uncensored versions. The Season 4 finale TV edit is a freakin' crime.
The ultimate irony of you not swearing at all throughout your comment and then censoring your swear at the end, taking away from the impact, is VERY noticeable.
@@denisucuuu censoring my swear? You mean saying "freakin'"? I personally don't swear myself. I'm not sure what my personal life choices have to do with the objective point.
This is part of the reason why Fear feels more cohesive and gritty at times, swearing is way more commonly used and it just impacts the actors performance a lot more, it also makes the characters more human imo especially Madison because the only emotion Kim Dickens evokes wells is being cold and being very aggressive. I hope season 9 loosens up on the restrictions
I agree the DVD version does reflect the scene better, because I'm sure without certainty that when a real life incident happens, even a church goer will say an expletive if the incident is almost deadly enough!! LOL
How do I watch the versions where they curse cause I seen the negan scene with the actual f bomb diolauge but when I watched on Netflix he don't say the f word at all 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I said the same thing. watched the first 4 on dvd....saw this, got pumped for season 5. eventually saw it again on netflix amd it was terrible. Really adds to the season like the few times Jack Bauer dropped the fbomb
Gotta love the irony of having gore, blood, and endless gun ultraviolence, but the moment someone says fuck or a titty pops out, we gotta protect the kids! Ear/eye muffs! (sort of pun intended) I don't think most of us even realize that, myself included. Having said all that, there is a distinct trend towards more and more f bombs, as we are fond of saying, on cable/pay TV. Albeit some are bleeped, but still you are seeing it more often. I def recall the comments from Fear talking about they now get 2 fucks per season. Honestly I'll take it! Progress, people!
Swearing is so bad, but showing an Asian pizza delivery man with his skull shattered and his eye popping out while he's trying to talk to his pregnant wife as she watches his gruesome, painful, slow demise is absolutely fine. America at its finest people #ThanksObama
guy who tries too hard to be intimidating: swears flying everywhere without a pause losing their meaning emotional moment with a huge impact for a character: a well placed FUCK is more powerful than a bullet
I love the walking dead you can show people getting eaten and ripped apart by Zombies you can show Negan caving Abraham and Glenn's sculls in with a baseball bat but when they say fuck oh no we can't have that at all
I live in the southern US and we always use the word cussing. I'm sure this is just a take on the word cursing. I don't swear, but if you did hear me using curse words you would know that something was wrong or you needed to pay attention. I think if it is kept to a minimum it puts an emphasis on the situation and lets you know something is up. On the other hand, most people I know do curse and without it, a tv show does seem odd.
You raise some valid points, I think it's difficult to find the correct balance. Too much swearing means it loses its effect, whereas too little can make the dialogue seem very unrealistic. I've also not heard the word cussing before, so thanks for teaching me something new!
It's amazing how no matter how good a shows actors/actresses are, or how good the writers and showrunners are - the studio network at the end of the day hold the most power in how good the show actually becomes. It'd be unfair to say AMC is trash since TWD is so successful, but they definitely have played large parts in stunting it's growth and even losing fans (e.g. doubling the length of season eps, firing Frank Darabot, no swearing or nudity etc). It reminds me of the CW Network and how they've slightly ruined the Arrow and The Flash series - due to their 23 episode a season plus making all their shows a soap opera. It's a darn shame and just reiterates how studios mostly only care for one thing, maximizing profits. I would've loved to of seen TWD under HBO or even Netflix - not to say these studio's are perfect but they definitely don't treat their fans like shit by milking everything the way AMC do.
I remember when S7 was being filmed JDM(negan) said that for S7 he was using a much swearing as possible and called it the F take for the blu ray it's one thing to not have it its something else to flat out lie because it wasn't in the blu ray thought id say my thoughts
The Walking Dead - the show that can show a guy's eye hanging off and brains pouring out after he's been repeadedly hit with a baseball bat but Negan isn't allowed to say "fuck". Still love it tho
well thats the thing with swearwords, they can be used in so many ways to express tons of different emotions. they can add something to a conversation or make you seem like a fool its all about the ammount of them you use in a sentence it can even add something to a otherwise less serious phrase. Lets say you nearly got hit by a car and you turn to a friend standing right next to you, you can respond to him by sayin ''holy fuck that was close'' which would add an extra layer of shock or surprise to this simple response compared to just sayin ''man that was a close one'' this works for expressing any intense emotion (in my books at least) overusing it however makes it have less of an impact as a response like ''holy fucking shit this motherfucking bitch nearly fucking hit me'' would kinda take that shock/surprise value out of it. i for my part mainly use it when i form a sentence in a split second to react to something that just happened where i cant overthink my response in detail or whenever im chatting with close friends where its used in more of a sarcastic way or when i wanna express that im deadly serious about something (mainly in the form of my inner monologue) unless theres someone in the same position right next to me who holds a grudge against the same person (which is pretty much the situation you have in the episode where rick tells the rest of the crew that the others fucked with the wrong group of survivors)
I was watching S11 and someone says… “You mother-puss-bucket.” … but in the same season, Daryl says “really fucking bad”, so I don’t know what rules they’re following.
Rick swearing in that episode did change his meaning, but knowing what we know, was just bluster. As we saw in Season 5 Episode 1, he repeats the bluster when he threatens Garrett with death, because he was about to get his throat slashed and bleed out into the trough. Carol was really the one they have to contend with. Rick looked a little ridiculous talking as tough as he did, whether he said 'fucking' or 'screwing,' because he was impotent in the face of the situation without the totally non-swearing and quiet Carol.
Also, I’m not sure if it’s s cultural thing as shows such as American Horror Story on FX says fuck and I think sometimes C**t, about as much or even more than you may see in some movies.
There really should be no reason for swearing to be censored in TWD. Channels like Comedy Central use to have standup and movies uncensored after midnight and all they did was put up an advisory warning just prior to airing of the program. I feel AMC could do the very same thing OR they could air the censored episode at the regular time slot and then the uncensored version after midnight. Back when Breaking Bad was on, I recall either hearing or reading that AMC allowed BB one “F Bomb” per season (and boy did they use that F Bomb perfectly in my opinion). I wonder if the same stipulation was ever granted to TWD.
Swearing is also a huge deal on TV but when I pass by some kids playing in my neighborhood, they use every swear words in my language in all types of grammar use, so I think media shouldn't concentrate more on shows, internet or games but from grown ups using cuss words instead. Plus, listen to our president(Philippines)... check how much it impacts his whole speech or the masses!
I've been watching The Walking Dead on TV ever since it started. And never did i notice the lack of cursing all that much in the show. But at the end of Season 4 i did however notice it as Rick started talking about how the Termites where about to feel pretty Stupid. In me i knew Rick was bout to say ''They're fucking with the wrong people''. I fealt it coming... But then he said ''Screwing'' and i just fell on the floor because i couldn't believe how poorly it fit into the scene. It made no sense what so ever... And after then i heard about Negan wich was a Fuck Bomb in human form. And i tought to myself that i've made it this far without needing it so i guess i would be fine without this Negan saying Fuck... Until i read a few of his lines from the comic. And when he first showed up on the TV show i really liked him. He was a Psycho. He was funny... But he didn't curse to much. But then the Blu-ray came out and he just said ''I'm going to beat the holly fuck fucking feckedy fuck out of one of you'' and i just fealt the character so much more. It made way more sense for Negan to curse. It took some getting used to in a show where We've only heard Fuck once. I don't need Rick cursing left and right because he just doesn't need to for the most part. Only once has the lack of cursing made me care. But Rick to me just isn't a ''Fuck'' type of dude. He is more a actions kind of guy. Instead of saying ''Fucking hell'' he will just kill the guy like it was nothing. But i would really like to see more use of the ''FUCK'' from Negan. Wich is why i was so pissed to hear the Season 7 Blu-ray didn't include any Fuck scenes. They promised us they where filming Negan in all his Motherfucking glory. And atleast to begin with they did... So what happened? They never said anything. They just never gave us any scenes with Negan using the word Fuck way to fucking much. And i think Negan would have been a better character if he could curse. I love JDM's potrayal of Negan. He is funny and actually is a bit more complex then he may first seem. But i think if he was allowed to say Fuck he would dominate the screen way more. He isn't supposed to be too serious... He is supposed to be insane and funny. Yes he is inteligent. But he is supposed to hide that behind his Psycho'esk behavior. So well, i wish we could see Negan in all his Glory. But it doesn't hurt the show too much. It just makes Negan's lines less memorable. I mean sure ''It's happy hour at the Pussy bar'' is a funny line. But the line i remember the most is when he says ''I'm going to beat the holy fuck fucking fuckedy fuck out of one of you''. It's just so fucking stupid... And that's what i love. Sadly American TV is just too fucking weak for cursing. I don't know why since Americans in general seem to use to word FUCK alot. I remember growing up and hearing Curing in my kids shows.... I was exposed to cursing in Childrens programs on TV while still in Kinder garten. Cursing is just so normal where i come from i don't notice it half of the time on TV. It's just talking... So to me it's just so strange to see how America is OK with so much blood and gore but the word Fuck is too much for Cable TV. I'll never get them Muricans. Oh well...
I never understood why swearing or sex (sometimes can be weird or unnecessary) which are very normal things as long as it’s not watched by little kids or anything but blood guts and literal unidentifiable heads which are very uncomfortable for some people to look at and pretty disgusting are perfectly normal to broadcast on tv
It's funny that us Aussies and Brits say cunt quite a lot and how easily other people get offended by it when it's used as a rearm of endearment! I wish AMC was like FX being allowed to now say fuck!
The Walking Dead: **shows a scene where a man rips someone's guts out, bites into somebody's neck, and shows multiple scenes of people getting brutally murdered** General Public: That's The Walking Dead for ya! Nothing to do about it. The Walking Dead: **two characters have sex and one dude says fuck** General Public: You've gone down the deep end. There's no going back.
I have met several people that get so offended when they hear someone curses. They hear someone drop the F-bomb and they take it like a car wreck. 😂

Lachlan the peaky FOOKIN’ blinders!
I just don't get it, they said the f word like 2 times in fear Twd season 3, but not once yet in the original?😕
Brian Achim and in preacher. Another amc show.
I think it has to do with advertisers however I saw something before season 8 aired that they are allowed to use 2 F bombs a season
Yeah, I don't know. Even Breaking Bad was allowed one f-bomb per season.
I never would of guessed his your name would be Josh. I was thinking your name would be Matthew or Hugh.
Very bri'ish
Why???
If they rebooted TWD on Netflix or HBO then they could do all the swearing they want right?
I guess
yea but the twd on Netflix is the same as the tv show still edited out
Brian Achim I've heard the f-bomb on syfy shows and I'm pretty sure I've heard it on fx and I've seen movies on either IFC, BBC America or FXX that weren't edited for language. The issue with twd could have something to do with AMC or maybe it's the producers of the show or maybe they don't want to scare off advertisers.
They should do an animated walking dead show and make it as explicit as possible.
Merle dropping the hard R that one episode was peak shit
We've had three N-word drops, but God forbid someone says "fuck."
I know kids watches the walking dead anyways but my main point is that they are allowed to watch those scenes but characters can't swaer is just silly to me.
exactly it's an adult show, that airs at a time when children shouldn't really be watching it, so AMC shouldn't really be worried about offended kids
I'd imagine if TWD got the greenlight to drop F-bombs, they'd do even casually.
dude i loved this video so much, great critical analysis! :)
I'm actually early to one of your videos!! you are one of the best walking dead channels!!
Thank you for the support! :)
predatoure always🤙🏻
its fucking ruin it for me man i just stared watching it and as soon as i hear rick say "screwing with the wrong people" i knew something was wrong
I could’ve sworn when the episode originally premiered they slipped the swear into the ending. Either that or my brain made it up
Fun fact: The irl owners of Hershel's farm wouldn't let AMC film there unless they promised not to swear on the property.
Really?? that's crazy
that's pretty funny
No swearing on my Christian Minecraft farm
So they didn’t swear at all in season 2?
In the US, it depends on where you are. I hardly ever hear the word "cursing", but I hear the word "swearing" pretty often.
ah fair enough, I guess it's because I always hear people say the word "cursing" a lot on American TV instead of swearing, which I why I thought it was the more commonly used term.
predatoure No problem, because the US is so big, but usually TV shows and movies are filmed in LA or some other largely populated place, so it can be hard to draw a 100% accurate assumption.
I’m glad saying the f word is more allowed in the last few seasons
they swearing should be used as much as in breaking bad, with one or two f bombs per season
To me, not having sex education in some schools seems a bit crazy, as pretty much all schools over here must teach it (although our teenage pregnancy rates are still really high - so you could argue it doesn't really do a lot)
I didn't realise The Talking Dead doesn't allow any swear words at all, which it strange when I'm presuming it airs after the show quite late at night?
I read it as the "importance of sharing in the walking dead" 😂
The Walking Dead is on AMC which is a cable channel. So they are not bound by the swearing laws (from the FCC). theoretically, they've always been able to swear, unless AMC says no. Ultimately, it turns into, "What can we get away with saying and still have advertisers want to buy ad space for commercials during the show?"
However, a lot of the Negan scenes were shot twice. Once with swearing (for the home release) and once without. So good on Jeffery Dean Morgan who had to learn 2 versions of a lot of scenes.
I’m American and I don’t get it either. How is swearing worse than the ridiculous amount of gore on the show? Makes no sense.
Doesn't make sense to me either, surely swearing is no worse than someone getting their skull caved in??
I've also heard that's why Abraham says some uniquely phrased swear words. Funny, but also very identifiable that his swearing was censored by the network.
I just watched that Nick scene in Fear recently. It worked so well.
Your name is Josh? 🤔My name is Josh... are Joshua
Master Of Disguise you guys should kiss
I want in on this! xD
Joshua Reyes 😂😂
I feel like the show should have let some F-bombs slide in lines like “they’re fucking with the wrong people”, in that line especially it really helps convey the intensity and gravity of the situation.
They cut ricks line “f-ing w the wrong people” and negans curses in his scene but Daryl curses in s 11.
It’s because AMC is cheap as ‘fuck’ and they don’t want to pay the FCC fines.
The Walking Dead, where it’s ok to show a guy brutally getting his head bashed in by a baseball bat, eye popping out and everything
But nooo, never say Fuuuuck, that’s too far
I mean like Negan says every other bad word and says a ton of sexual rude stuff, so what the fuck? Oh sorry, f*ck
I mean Breaking Bad has some f-bombs here in there, it’s not that bad. It can enhance the feel like you said, sometimes it’s good to write it bc it feels geniune. Plus it could just feel cringey when it’s blatantly censored
I do find it strange that Negan can make weird sexual remarks like "arguing whose dick is bigger", yet swearing is a no-go :/
The clips of Rick in the Box Car... Look at both clips again. It's the same one. You can see Ricks mouth moving before the TV lines are Dubbed in.
My two roommates litter every sentence of their speech with swearing and it has literally no impact because they overuse it. It shows a lack of diversity and breadth in their speech, as well as attempting to consistently keep an "edge" in the fact they are saying it. (As you can tell based on my opinion, I don't swear.)
In _TWD_ , the selective usage of the F-word in very specific places (as for example the Season 4 finale)....has so much weight and power because it was never heard to that point.
I hate the long pauses in everyone's conversations.... Nobody talks... like.... that
This is part of the reason why Fear feels more cohesive and gritty at times, swearing is way more commonly used and it just impacts the actors performance a lot more, it also makes the characters more human imo especially Madison because the only emotion Kim Dickens evokes wells is being cold and being very aggressive. I hope season 9 loosens up on the restrictions
I agree the DVD version does reflect the scene better, because I'm sure without certainty that when a real life incident happens, even a church goer will say an expletive if the incident is almost deadly enough!! LOL
You know, I don't actually recall Negan talking to Lucille in the show. He's only referred to Lucille in the third person.
How do I watch the versions where they curse cause I seen the negan scene with the actual f bomb diolauge but when I watched on Netflix he don't say the f word at all 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Are you going to read Oblivion Song (Robert Kirkman's new comic)?
Negan wakes up in bed gets up and looks in mirror fuck!!!
I said the same thing. watched the first 4 on dvd....saw this, got pumped for season 5. eventually saw it again on netflix amd it was terrible. Really adds to the season like the few times Jack Bauer dropped the fbomb
I really hoped that negans entrance would have featured the first aired F bomb in the shows entry as he is just the man to do it but oh well
the f-bombs hit harder and is more effective IMO
When used properly (sparingly).
@Will DeMarco Thank you.
If they ever do a reboot or revival of two, Negan needs to cuss.
I remember seeing this ending on tv though. Am I remembering it wrong?
I fucking love this channel lolol 💞
5:33 That's what i do too when i realize i didn't die in my sleep.
There's a version of negan's first appearance on TH-cam where he swears more. He's way more intimidating in that version.
I’m pretty sure I heard Daryl say fuck on TV before
Swearing is so bad, but showing an Asian pizza delivery man with his skull shattered and his eye popping out while he's trying to talk to his pregnant wife as she watches his gruesome, painful, slow demise is absolutely fine. America at its finest people #ThanksObama
Losers when an already perfect adult show doesnt have swear words:
Good video and good points!
thank you
TWD its like a family friendly show
Tomás no is really not.
Tell that to glenn and abraham
guy who tries too hard to be intimidating: swears flying everywhere without a pause losing their meaning
emotional moment with a huge impact for a character: a well placed FUCK is more powerful than a bullet
I love the walking dead you can show people getting eaten and ripped apart by Zombies you can show Negan caving Abraham and Glenn's sculls in with a baseball bat but when they say fuck oh no we can't have that at all
That has more effect the first time. Im a Brit and I hate C u next Tuesday but I think in an apocalypse god ya gonna swear.
I live in the southern US and we always use the word cussing. I'm sure this is just a take on the word cursing.
I don't swear, but if you did hear me using curse words you would know that something was wrong or you needed to
pay attention.
That's a shame, I haven't got the blu ray for Season 7 so wasn't aware of that :/
Its weird how Theres other words Like duck and then 1 letter gets changed Fuck is like WOAHH!
"their fooking with the wrong people"
Negans intro is so much better with profanity.
The Walking Dead - the show that can show a guy's eye hanging off and brains pouring out after he's been repeadedly hit with a baseball bat but Negan isn't allowed to say "fuck". Still love it tho
I think “dilly dallying” was the right choice but what do I know
well thats the thing with swearwords, they can be used in so many ways to express tons of different emotions. they can add something to a conversation or make you seem like a fool its all about the ammount of them you use in a sentence it can even add something to a otherwise less serious phrase.
Negans first ever scene has two different versions the TV version and the fuck fucking fuckity scene
I wish Negan actually dropped F Bombs like in the comics.
Also, I’m not sure if it’s s cultural thing as shows such as American Horror Story on FX says fuck and I think sometimes C**t, about as much or even more than you may see in some movies.
There’s a deleted scene in season 5 where Daryl says Fuck and a deleted scene in season 6 where Rick says Fuck
I also watched it on DVD so when I watched it tv I thought the same
This is a fucking good video :]
This is a very good point, I will have to check out some videos of the Philippines president!
you are so right it is a lot better wow
It is so true. It is so anticlimactic in the second one
C u n r is used in the England so much 😂 we don’t bat a eye when it’s said 😂
I've been watching The Walking Dead on TV ever since it started. Oh well...
Watching s7 e1 uncensored with negan swearing very second is kinda annoying cuz jdm is so different from he comics negan
This guy loves his fucking walking dead for sure, good video
haha thank you!
I wish AMC was like FX being allowed to now say fuck!
where can i find those episodes with swearing?
they are on the Blu-ray/dvd versions
predatoure Thanks! Do you know how much does it cost 1-7 season to buy? We in Serbia don't have it. So i would order it where ever i need.
The Walking Dead: **shows a scene where a man rips someone's guts out, bites into somebody's neck, and shows multiple scenes of people getting brutally murdered**
General Public: That's The Walking Dead for ya! Nothing to do about it.
The Walking Dead: **two characters have sex and one dude says fuck**
General Public: You've gone down the deep end. There's no going back.
