Hi everyone, if anyone is interested here are some instalments that narrowly missed out on being included in this video. I was going to quickly talk about them before I revealed the number 1 entry, but I decided not to as the video was already long enough. Thank you - This was the episode that kicked off the whole Glenn fake out, need I say more. No, really I’m not going to say anymore. Slabtown - As much I like Beth, the Grady memorial arc was just bad, with the episode Slabtown completely bringing the show’s pacing to a grinding halt, the entire arc was made even more pointless by the fact that Beth died, and the guy she essentially sacrificed herself for; Noah - ended up dying not long after. Live bait/dead weight - I’ve decided to include both of these episodes as one as they are essentially one story split over two parts. Both these episodes take place after The Governor resurfaces in episode 5 of Season 4, and just like the previously mentioned slabtown in my opinion these two instalments completed destroy any momentum the show was building. Also, I know I’ve complained about this in the past, but I much prefer the direction the comics take when detailing The Governor’s finale assault on the prison, for me it made a lot more sense for The Governor to sit back and strike Rick again when he least expected it, rather than the TV route which had him recruit a load of random people who he had only just met, who for some reason were willing to attack a prison full of people they knew nothing about, because a guy with an eyepatch told them they were bad people. the same boat - this was another one of those episodes that everyone else seemed to like but I didn’t. After the brilliant “not Tommorow Yet”, “the same boat” focused on Carol and Maggie being captured by some people whose names I can’t be bothered to remember. I didn’t really find any on the new characters interesting, which is probably a good thing as they all ended up dying anyway, instead I found they all just talked too much about complete nonsense which made them less intimidating than they should have been. Finally, Carol’s scared housewife routine one again got on my nerves, and overall I just found this episode to be mind-numbingly dull. How it’s gotta be - The last episode that narrowly missed out on being included on my top 10 worst episode list is this season’s mid-season finale. I don’t really want to talk about it again, because I’ve already reviewed this episode and spoken about its problems at length, but for me this was probably the most underwhelming end of a first half of a season that I’ve witnessed.
predatoure What abot season 6 episode 4: Here's not here. Most boring episode ever. In the middle of the action it cuts away to a 50 minute long flashback.
Wow you really must hate Season 6....personally I don't see what's so bad about it. 6x5 was the only bad episode, the rest were amazing. 6x3 was the best episode of the first half of the season.
Carol was mentally disaster at this point after killing so many people... Carol is literally worst character 1-3 seasons then best character 4-6 then back to worst character after season 6 xDD
@@yoursports6910 As house keeper in alexandria she wasnt THAT bAD but... She is super dull as queen that is for sure :P In comic she was widow after 9th BUT in series they let ezekiel alive because of how popular he was, they didn't do glenn mistake again and it created huge plot hole.
@The Blue Spirit tara was bad in general this is why they killed her off instead of rosita in the end of season 9 (rosita dies in comics instead), same reason they kileld the kiddo i forgot the name instead of ezekiel to keep the storyline in tact but kept more popular character alive
Why do people hate the 2nd season? I think the 1st two seasons are the best, there are some dull episodes in the 2nd seasons but alot of real good eps I think

Watching Season 2 in a binge session is fine and rather enjoyable. I kinda like the slow pacing. My issue was watching it on Cable having commercials interrupt it along with the 1 week wait time after each episode. It made the rather decent slow pace of the season feel like watching paint dry. Watching it on Netflix however, where you dont have commercials or the one week waot, makes it a rather enjoyable season, and probably my 3rd favorite season.
For me, ever since they ended up in Alexandria the seasons have just collided or just run together if that makes sense. Like there's so much going on, yet nothing at all.
I always wondered if they will leave Alexandria and run away to another state due to some attack of another enemy who destroyed their community. But since we've already had this before (The Governor's final attack of the prison), I don't think it would be a good idea. They managed to rebuild Alexandria even after it being overrun by walkers. They could leave Alexandria for different reasons, tho. I just can't imagine Alexandria being their last stop for the rest of the series.
Yeah, those episodes were just boring. And also making us sit through all of that just to kill off Beth?That's just bs. The only thing that was kinda good was the heartbreaking ending with Daryl crying and Maggie beying absolutely broken, but then again Beth was acting stupid which led up to her death. I didn't like that the writers decided to kill her off because she just started to build a chemestry with Daryl, and at that point the only other person who was "close" to him was Carol, maybe Rick too but they became best friends later on
Honestly, while I didn't think Chupacabra was a great episode I feel like it's purpose was literally just to explore Daryl's character, given that he's a TV original and had been seeming like he was just a slightly more mellow version of Merle they wanted to take some time to develop him as his own character.
I never really liked Tyrese very much either, but that doesn't mean it's not a good episode. For me, the point wasn't to see Tyrese's death, it was to see what people who are dying of a walker bite often see. Never have we gotten such a 1st person perspective of death for so long on TWD. It's execution of this idea isn't fantastic, but I wouldn't call it bad.
I don’t understand why people don’t like him?? I found Glenn and Maggie to be alot more boring. Tyreese was like a big friendly giant and I really liked his character he had many layers to him and had some interesting dialogue. Glenn was interesting in the first 2 seasons where he was used to lure the walkers and was the cool asian kid but after he got kidnapped by merel all he did was wine and cry over maggie nearly every episode and maggie was honestly like watching paint dry
@@moonlightbae6143 yeah that’s fair. I’m not sure why I said that exactly, it was 3 years ago and opinions change. Now I like Tyrese just not very much. I just feel like he never really got any great scenes or time to shine besides his and Sasha’s introduction. Where as other characters like Glenn, Maggie, Daryl etc from time to time got stand out scenes and moments. But it’s been awhile since I’ve seen seasons 3-5

I actually liked the episode with Carl and the can of pudding. I often wondered how puberty must look like if you grow up in a zombie apocalypse. What kind of stupid things do you do for fun in a world of extreme danger? The episode answered it and it seems quite logical to me that Carl would sometimes behave like an idiot and ignore the threat of the walkers, because he is a teenager who needs to experiment and test his own strengths, skills and boundaries.
Wow, I actually liked the list right up to the end. I put "What Happened & What's Going On" in my top 10. Yes Tyreese was pretty much a snore throughout his stay on the show but his final episode was well done and the flashbacks to all the other dead characters he had been involved with was cool to see, especially my man Bob Stookey. The smile he flashed at the end when he said ""It's better now" alluding to the other side was a heartwarming final goodbye to Tyreese.
Wasn't there an episode where the governor chased Andrea the whole time? Into a warehouse where he somehow escaped being surrounded by walkers (never explained) , through a field in a truck...I don't even remember why he was chasing her in the first place.
It’s pretty obvious why he chased her. He didn’t want her telling Rick about the attack and that the meeting Rick initially agreed too was a ploy for the governor to kill him
Honestly everyone says Beth dying at the end of the hospital arc is bad (which it is) but I never see anyone say the same for that episode lmao watching Andrea run about for ages only to stop just before she reaches safety like that one girl in that movie (I can't exactly remember but my brain says it may be I know what you did last summer) was so ridiculously frustrating haha Made the whole episode feel kind of redundant.
@@coffeepowered6033 the difference is that Andrea was out of breath and could barely walk or talk or do anything, but her characters death was more of the writers fault than the actual character
Dwight's 'you'll be alright' after shooting Daryl was added after test fans reaction was so vitriolic that they felt it necessary to add it in post production so the greater audience wouldn't have that uncertainty... which is the whole point of the cliffhanger they were going for... which negates the whole thing.. which doesn't make any sense. Because this is The Walking Dead. So much potential, so little delivery.
Modest Mouse The reason they did that is because the Daryl fans would’ve gone crazy. This fanbase is toxic and is the worst. Especially the haters that don’t give constructive criticism and act like they know better...
I hated absolutely everything about that "cliffhanger." What makes things worse is that the people who were up in arms would only have to wait a week to find out that Daryl wasn't actually dead and you'd have to be an idiot to think that he was killed off-screen in a non-season finale. They really catered to the lowest common denominator on that one.
Can’t expect every episode to be exciting. It’s mostly plot development, sadly. So, filler-centric. Carol was teary because it hit her how many people she’s killed. Yes, the deer scene was terrible.
Chupacabra was where I really got on the Daryl train. I feel it did a good job fleshing out his nature and backstory. One of the more meaningful developments in a season of 'We sit on a farm and Lori is insane.'. Corrl's pudding adventure is probably my least liked ep. Good call on that one.
the episode where we find out that michonne and daryl's scars were from a gang of murderous little kids that just happen to be led by michonnes long lost friend.

Rick Grimes yeah, I agree. And it was such a useful episode, because it built on the sort of hopelessness from "Coda" and into "Them", which set such a perfect tone for the group's arrival in Alexandria. Don't understand why people hate it so much!
It was a pointless episode. Did we really need a whole episode about someone's death? No we don't. Just one of the many examples of the pacing issue of the show.
Chupacabra was one of the best episodes in season 2. Well if you are a daryl fan. In fact I'd say it was this episode that made daryl the favourite on the show
14:48 They weren't trying to make the viewers think Rick was dead. The point was Michonne thinking he died, and then their conversations that followed about going on if either of them don't survive the upcoming war.

If this was an episode in the newer seasons it would take no more than a quarter of the episodes run length. It's unnecessary. Also the fact in season 5 the hospital scenes took up MORE TIME than terminus?! Wtf?
FPSpsycho finding alcohol wasn’t the point of the episode, developing Beth and Daryls characters and their relationship to each other, the alcohol “quest” is just the driving force for it
Thanks for not including the Morgan solo episode where it was a flashback of meeting Eastman. A lot of fans complain about it being slow and boring but I think it was a very good episode that showed you how Morgan developed.
naturallythe1 i loved that episode! It was the last episode I truly enjoyed and I abandoned the walking dead soon after, only checking up on what happens casually through social media :(
They should have never replaced Tyreese with T-Dog for the first two seasons of TWD. First of all, his character would have had more of a bond with the audience and he would have been more likable. Not that I didn't like T-Dog, he was one of my favorite characters, and I didn't like how his death was almost forgettable.

I think, in the episode Say Yes, it was setting Michonne up to go forward, in case anything were to happen to Rick. Michonne froze, when the walkers were eating the deer and she thought it was Rick. He later went on to tell her that she could go on and had to.
My most hated episode was the one where they go to rescue Beth. They're finally going to walk out the door, when she stabs Dawn the cop in the shoulder with a tiny pair of scissors, and gets shot for her efforts. She was the most annoying character other than young Carl. omigod.... I felt nothing when she died. Hearing your English accent as you describe things is hilarious and entertaining. I will subscribe !
Lydia Burns I don't know. It's been so long since I've watched any episodes with her in it that I don't remember her doing anything weird with her mouth.
Thank you! That episode still pisses me off to this day, Beth was the biggest dumbass and not interesting in the slightest. Way too much time was spent focusing on her when she shoulda just died on the farm or not existed at all.
Yeah, when he was a kid I just couldn't wait for him to die, he was annoying and because of him one of my favorite characters (Dale) died, but later on I actually started to like Carl, and then they kill him off...
Wait "Chupacabra" One of the worst episode's? I agree with some of your episode selections but some of your choices I would definitely change lol, but it's cool we all like something different about the show.
In Chupacabra there was a huge plot point towards the end of the episode when Glenn went to the barn to meet Maggie and saw the walkers so it can’t really be skipped over
I’m glad somebody else finally mentioned it. Carls actions are what ultimately lead to Dales death (Dale was my favorite character). That’s why I really wasn’t that upset when Carl died.
@@lililee911 - Because as some who are comic book fans mention, his character represented the future and he was a main character for that future in the comics.
I don't get it. For me season 8 is the best because Rick, Daryl, Tara, Maggie and Morgan all start becoming psychopaths and Negan starts to become one of the least monstrous characters which is interesting.
I think season 8 was just meh, season 7 was the worst imo, It just wasn't even walking dead, just a gangwar. The only good episode season 7 had was "The day will come when you won't be"
You can blame the people who continuously complained season 2 for Carls death. They were impatient....they wanted nonstop action just for the sake of action. They wanted upped stakes every episode....thats how you get gimple killing off the one character who was supposed to survive the whole thing just for the sake of a reaction.
The block&white filter for the flashbacks was extremely offputting and inconsistent with how they treated flashbacks in the past. It was definitely one of the weakest episodes ever.
One problem with the walking dead is the pacing, one episode nothing happens, then the next too much happens. They do this so they can always meet the big thing or big reveal at the finale of each season, I bet 50$ you can watch only the premieres and finales and completely keep up with the story that's how bad the pacing is mid-season
Now I liked Sasha, so her death and how Maggie kind of monologued afterward had me shedding some tears, but I just didn't really care for Tyreese all that much either
The fact Chupacabra is on this list and Time for After isn't. Season 2 might be slow but its all character development. Characters conversations are rich and realistic, conflict brews internally, and the plot builds and builds. Don't forget Daryl found Sophia's doll and Glenn found the barn full of walkers, so the story did progress, it just took its time. Ik this is years old and youve since changed your opinion on Chupacabra, but the point still remains that there are things to like about these slow season 2 episodes, season 8 is a clusterfuck
Although I didn't like Tyreese's death simply because his character didn't compare to his comic book version and him being a substitute character. But as you referred to Sasha I would like to disagree. Even though her death was last minute, the extension of the episode was positive due to being able to know her inner pain and fears of not losing anymore people was personally riveting. I loved her character the most because she was the most easy to relate to and selfless. Because I can't see myself reacting to death like Maggie ( No hate to her character) in season 5 while she got over the pain of Beth in a couple episodes I see myself more as Sasha. She is strong but fearful, Pessimistic at times but can take one for the team and rising up to occasions when people would stand down
+MattrickBT I respect your opinion, but I just think her death was planned in season 7 not 6 & 5, in season 6 she was matured and started a beautiful relationship with Abe. And in season 5 her character was developing after the stunning loss of Bob and Tyreese, and a pattern I picked up from the show is that when characters go through this, they last 3+ seasons, although the writers made her death in season 7 more smooth than just writing her off. I think she was supposed to be in All-out-war
+MattrickBT I agree, but the tv show can adapt different comic characters in the plot to the T.V version. She had the role of Andera-ish in season 5 when she was the sharp-shooter, but michonne ended up getting that role and Sasha filled the shoes of Holly. I do know where you're coming from, it can be a possibility that she died by getting a role on Star Trek
Same. The first 3 episodes were great and the mid season premiere was one of my favorite episodes. I loved the whole introduction to the hilltop and the saviors being introduced. Fuck that cliffhanger though.
how is creating a cgi deer cheaper or better than just getting a real deer for scene? there are petting zoos that have deer, i'm sure they could have rented one and did this scene correctly.
i agree, for some reason i think the series is really good up to season 6. but there are a lot of bad/boring/weird episodes through out the way. also plot problems, stupid decision making and than the whole thing that the walkers are just no threat at all anymore once they hit season 4. it is way to easy for them to just run around, scattered into the winds, WITH A BABY! but they were so desperate to find shelter for 3 season.
Pretty Much Dead Already is my favorite. Not because of the events...poor Sophia! It's because of the emotional response it brought forth. I felt it. Shane's anger, Herschel's frustration, Carol's devastation...the actors did such an amazing job
season 9 premiere was so bad it made me stop watching the show. 20 minutes dedicated to the death of a character we've never met to basically set up for an extremely cheesy assassination attempt by Gregory on Maggie. drunk Gregory walks into a guy's house and somehow convinces the guy (who thinks Maggie is a good leader and doesn't blame Maggie for his son's death) to assassinate Maggie. Gregory tells Maggie to check Glenn's grave which he says was defaced and after the failed assassination he tries to knife Maggie in his house. then they put Gregory up on a horse and they hang him. there were other bad episodes before this but nothing so blatantly corny.
Yes you missed the episode where Daryl and Beth just went to a cabin and drank. Then she said he looks like a prisoner and then they burned the house down
Season 2 is the best. The most poetic, the most engaging, the best acted one. The ambiance of the farm, the warmth. Characters with serious dilemmas. It's my favourite and you syaing it's the worst with absolutely no argument is really obnoxious.
"After" and "Swear" are by far the worst episodes for me. I could have spent those two hours looking at a wall and been more satisfied with how my time was spent.
I would assume that this dude wouldn't like Breaking Bad which is more about atmosphere then about action, because he dislikes all episodes from twd which bring a certain atmosphere to the show. I don't know why but Carl running away and eating a huge can of whatever on a roof is the most memorable thing for me lol
My most disliked episode was in season 5 i forget which episode it is, but in the episode Beth and Daryl pretty much go to a golf course and search for alcohol so Beth can have her first drink then at the end she and daryl stick their middle finger up at a fire burned hut... Okay season 5...okay...
Betsy was David’s wife (the dude who got bit in the back racing to Alexandria with Glenn and Michonne and Michonne promised to get him back to Alexandria but he fell when trying to climb the fence with Michonne and he fell into the herd and was devoured
Tyrese was poorly written along with every other black character. Between the most blatant stereotypes (looking at you T-Dog) to just all around lack of character development. The writers really did a disservice to all of them.
Killing off Tyreese was a huge error. He had lots of potential. Killing off Noah here would have been much better and more interesting (his brothers or cousins or whatever eat him)....
I dislike the Oceanside, but I did like the episode where Tara goes there for the first time. I enjoyed her in this episode. She was light, funny and it was a refreshing episode in a dour season.
8/10 of them could be the whole of the first half of season 8 along with swear from season 7. I think swear is the lowest rated episode on IMDb out of the whole lot
WOW! You are the very FIRST person I have witnessed ever announcing hate for the gentle giant, Tyrese! His partnership with Carol at that cottage with the kids was spellbinding! And the girls story remains chilling to date. And the fact that there still remained a cliffhanger of Carol's pending confession, made Tyrese's character that much absorbing and interesting. But more than anything, the manner in which he protected Judith - through the walker infested forests, swamps and rivers. Even when that evil man in that wooden room threatened to strangle the infant to death - the gentle giant played his part to perfection. I am so disappointed you found that character uninteresting and dull??? WOW!!! Different strokes for different folks, I guess!!! That character was excellently well executed in my book and Judith should pay tribute to him when she learns later of what that man did to save her life in the most deadly of times!
As I recall, it wasn't even a " machinegun" up her sleeve in that scene. It was a revolver. One which she somehow fired so fast that it sounded like a machinegun, and which she fired so amazingly accurately , without using any sights at all, that she guns down 4-5 guys before they can respond at all, despite the fact that they were several feet a apart and some had concealment/cover from the truck that they were in.
I think Say Yes is my most hated one by far honestly, just how BORING and absolutely cheesy and cringeworthy it was. I was almost blown away by how crap it was when I watched it that cursed Sunday night
I liked the cliff hanger "you'll be alright " it leaves us with 4 hostages and just because Dwight says hell be okay doesn't leave me thinking that's true .
I agree with you regarding #1. The directors didn't spend enough time developing Tyreese's character in the previous episodes, so there isn't much to go on, and not enough for us to care about his slow death. If it was Morgan then hell yeah we would care about that, because Morgan has been around since day 1 (with recurring appearances) and we always cared what happened to him
Where's season 5 episode 10? That episode was basically just an hour of the group being depressed in the woods. The most exciting part about it was when Rick said "we are the walking dead."
carol - abused housewive after the timeskip is a cold badass survivor who kills sick without hesitation and shoots terminus without shit given season 6 carol - hardened survivor suddenly gets ptsd and cries about killing people but still does it. what the fuck that is one of the things that turned me away from the show
2:05 gets ya past season 8 spoilers. also... I was down with the hidden machine gun carol has , though that episode deserves to be on the list for various other reasons (many of which you mention ) *shrug* opinions!
what makes no sense in the walking dead is how you only have the common walkers and not more challenging types of infected, it just forces the series to follow a repetitive story

Season six was the beginning of the end of my liking for TWD.

In my opinion the worst episodes were either Beth & the hospital or the one where Morales came back and died within 20 seconds

Watching it on Netflix however, where you dont have commercials or the one week waot, makes it a rather enjoyable season, and probably my 3rd favorite season.

For me, ever since they ended up in Alexandria the seasons have just collided or just run together if that makes sense. Like there's so much going on, yet nothing at all.
I get what you mean, for me the show hasn't been the same since Rick and co has settled at the community.
I always wondered if they will leave Alexandria and run away to another state due to some attack of another enemy who destroyed their community. But since we've already had this before (The Governor's final attack of the prison), I don't think it would be a good idea. They managed to rebuild Alexandria even after it being overrun by walkers. They could leave Alexandria for different reasons, tho. I just can't imagine Alexandria being their last stop for the rest of the series.

Yeah, those episodes were just boring. And also making us sit through all of that just to kill off Beth?That's just bs. The only thing that was kinda good was the heartbreaking ending with Daryl crying and Maggie beying absolutely broken, but then again Beth was acting stupid which led up to her death. I didn't like that the writers decided to kill her off because she just started to build a chemestry with Daryl, and at that point the only other person who was "close" to him was Carol, maybe Rick too but they became best friends later on

Honestly, while I didn't think Chupacabra was a great episode I feel like it's purpose was literally just to explore Daryl's character, given that he's a TV original and had been seeming like he was just a slightly more mellow version of Merle they wanted to take some time to develop him as his own character.

I never really liked Tyrese very much either, but that doesn't mean it's not a good episode. For me, the point wasn't to see Tyrese's death, it was to see what people who are dying of a walker bite often see. Never have we gotten such a 1st person perspective of death for so long on TWD. It's execution of this idea isn't fantastic, but I wouldn't call it bad.

I don’t understand why people don’t like him?? I found Glenn and Maggie to be alot more boring. Tyreese was like a big friendly giant and I really liked his character he had many layers to him and had some interesting dialogue. Glenn was interesting in the first 2 seasons where he was used to lure the walkers and was the cool asian kid but after he got kidnapped by merel all he did was wine and cry over maggie nearly every episode and maggie was honestly like watching paint dry

When Rick encountered the Irish girl in the woods judging by her looks I thought she was an intelligent zombie.
I actually liked the episode with Carl and the can of pudding. I often wondered how puberty must look like if you grow up in a zombie apocalypse. What kind of stupid things do you do for fun in a world of extreme danger? The episode answered it and it seems quite logical to me that Carl would sometimes behave like an idiot and ignore the threat of the walkers, because he is a teenager who needs to experiment and test his own strengths, skills and boundaries.

Wow, I actually liked the list right up to the end. I put "What Happened & What's Going On" in my top 10. Yes Tyreese was pretty much a snore throughout his stay on the show but his final episode was well done and the flashbacks to all the other dead characters he had been involved with was cool to see, especially my man Bob Stookey. The smile he flashed at the end when he said ""It's better now" alluding to the other side was a heartwarming final goodbye to Tyreese.

I hated absolutely everything about that "cliffhanger." What makes things worse is that the people who were up in arms would only have to wait a week to find out that Daryl wasn't actually dead and you'd have to be an idiot to think that he was killed off-screen in a non-season finale. Thanks for not including the Morgan solo episode where it was a flashback of meeting Eastman. A lot of fans complain about it being slow and boring but I think it was a very good episode that showed you how Morgan developed.

I think, in the episode Say Yes, it was setting Michonne up to go forward, in case anything were to happen to Rick. Michonne froze, when the walkers were eating the deer and she thought it was Rick. He later went on to tell her that she could go on and had to.
My most hated episode was the one where they go to rescue Beth. They're finally going to walk out the door, when she stabs Dawn the cop in the shoulder with a tiny pair of scissors, and gets shot for her efforts. She was the most annoying character other than young Carl. omigod.... I felt nothing when she died. Hearing your English accent as you describe things is hilarious and entertaining. I will subscribe !

In Chupacabra there was a huge plot point towards the end of the episode when Glenn went to the barn to meet Maggie and saw the walkers so it can’t really be skipped over
I’m glad somebody else finally mentioned it. Carls actions are what ultimately lead to Dales death (Dale was my favorite character). That’s why I really wasn’t that upset when Carl died.

The block&white filter for the flashbacks was extremely offputting and inconsistent with how they treated flashbacks in the past. It was definitely one of the weakest episodes ever.

One problem with the walking dead is the pacing, one episode nothing happens, then the next too much happens. They do this so they can always meet the big thing or big reveal at the finale of each season, I bet 50$ you can watch only the premieres and finales and completely keep up with the story that's how bad the pacing is mid-season

The fact Chupacabra is on this list and Time for After isn't. Season 2 might be slow but its all character development. Characters conversations are rich and realistic, conflict brews internally, and the plot builds and builds. Don't forget Daryl found Sophia's doll and Glenn found the barn full of walkers, so the story did progress, it just took its time. Ik this is years old and youve since changed your opinion on Chupacabra, but the point still remains that there are things to like about these slow season 2 episodes, season 8 is a clusterfuck
Although I didn't like Tyreese's death simply because his character didn't compare to his comic book version and him being a substitute character. But as you referred to Sasha I would like to disagree. Even though her death was last minute, the extension of the episode was positive due to being able to know her inner pain and fears of not losing anymore people was personally riveting. I loved her character the most because she was the most easy to relate to and selfless. Because I can't see myself reacting to death like Maggie ( No hate to her character) in season 5 while she got over the pain of Beth in a couple episodes I see myself more as Sasha. She is strong but fearful, Pessimistic at times but can take one for the team and rising up to occasions when people would stand down

And in season 5 her character was developing after the stunning loss of Bob and Tyreese, and a pattern I picked up from the show is that when characters go through this, they last 3+ seasons, although the writers made her death in season 7 more smooth than just writing her off. I think she was supposed to be in All-out-war

She had the role of Andera-ish in season 5 when she was the sharp-shooter, but michonne ended up getting that role and Sasha filled the shoes of Holly. i agree, for some reason i think the series is really good up to season 6. but there are a lot of bad/boring/weird episodes through out the way. also plot problems, stupid decision making and than the whole thing that the walkers are just no threat at all anymore once they hit season 4. it is way to easy for them to just run around, scattered into the winds, WITH A BABY! but they were so desperate to find shelter for 3 season.

season 9 premiere was so bad it made me stop watching the show. 20 minutes dedicated to the death of a character we've never met to basically set up for an extremely cheesy assassination attempt by Gregory on Maggie.
drunk Gregory walks into a guy's house and somehow convinces the guy (who thinks Maggie is a good leader and doesn't blame Maggie for his son's death) to assassinate Maggie. Gregory tells Maggie to check Glenn's grave which he says was defaced and after the failed assassination he tries to knife Maggie in his house. then they put Gregory up on a horse and they hang him.
there were other bad episodes before this but nothing so blatantly corny.

When the show began to have 10 minute motivational speeches every episode I began to loose interest in the show.
WOW! You are the very FIRST person I have witnessed ever announcing hate for the gentle giant, Tyrese! His partnership with Carol at that cottage with the kids was spellbinding! And the girls story remains chilling to date. And the fact that there still remained a cliffhanger of Carol's pending confession, made Tyrese's character that much absorbing and interesting. But more than anything, the manner in which he protected Judith - through the walker infested forests, swamps and rivers. Even when that evil man in that wooden room threatened to strangle the infant to death - the gentle giant played his part to perfection. I am so disappointed you found that character uninteresting and dull??? WOW!!! Different strokes for different folks, I guess!!! That character was excellently well executed in my book and Judith should pay tribute to him when she learns later of what that man did to save her life in the most deadly of times!
As I recall, it wasn't even a " machinegun" up her sleeve in that scene. It was a revolver. One which she somehow fired so fast that it sounded like a machinegun, and which she fired so amazingly accurately , without using any sights at all, that she guns down 4-5 guys before they can respond at all, despite the fact that they were several feet a apart and some had concealment/cover from the truck that they were in.

The directors didn't spend enough time developing Tyreese's character in the previous episodes, so there isn't much to go on, and not enough for us to care about his slow death. If it was Morgan then hell yeah we would care about that, because Morgan has been around since day 1 (with recurring appearances) and we always cared what happened to him
Where's season 5 episode 10? That episode was basically just an hour of the group being depressed in the woods. The most exciting part about it was when Rick said "we are the walking dead."

what makes no sense in the walking dead is how you only have the common walkers and not more challenging types of infected, it just forces the series to follow a repetitive story
