I got familiar with Lemire through Animal Man. It's crazy how he both managed to write a run which got the best aspects of both Morrison's as well as Delano's runs, and he also wrote one of the best comics for the New 52
Hello there Owen. I stumbled upon this interview video of yours and I thought that it was absolutely amazing. I really can't wait for Absolute Flash to come out, just because I think Lemire is going to knock it out of the park and really bring back the love for Wally West.
Recently i read Black Hammer and i gotta say it's probably the best comic book i've read this year alongside Ultimate Spider-Man. Jeff clearly loves old super heroes and i think he really fits for the JSA as a whole. Also looking foward to Absolute Flash who looks really good from what i've seen.

I've always been interested in The Justice Society of America. Back in the 1970's those Solomon Grundy stories were always attracting my attention. Those Solomon Grundy origin stories. WOW!!!

I’ve only read *Robin & Batman* and *Plutona,* and I wasn’t that big a fan of either of them, but since he seems well regarded I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. I was thinking of checking out his run of Animal Man, and would like other recommendations, if anyone has any
Animal Man is great. In terms of Marvel/DC stuff, I really liked his Moon Knight. He's done a lot of great indie work too, everything from Sweet Tooth, Essex County and Descender were all very good.
@@OwenLikesComics Other than Robin and Batman, I really recommend his time on Justice League Dark. He's a writer who I need to get more into. Thanks for the recommendations.
I seriously hope this Absolute Flash is a Fun zoptmistuc volorful comic & not s deoressing onr because i like the Flafh . Right now I'm not okyo yhr edgy Visyals of yhr Absolute Universe just with Batman running around wuth a Sc vhoping People's world off & Wonder Woman looking like a Villian & o worry that Superman might sbap a beck . Like will this be something thet isnt a Vloody Gore fest like New 52 or Injustice i seeing dont like those takes .
It does in the context of "a fundamental aspect is taken away from the character, where does that lead the character and can they end up as much as their main counterpart" a. You can't really do that with Barry, and b. Lemire wanted to do a book with a teenage character, only makes sense to do that with Wally instead of Barry

absolute flash is not the only one not using the og's, absolute green lantern will use jo mullein as the main character
