the feel is different because citizen is titanium.. a lot of people confuse 'cheap feel' with 'light feel'.. often thinks that 'heavy' is quality. i beg to differ.
I've spent time with both and took the Citizen. The sapphire bevel is next level as far as the look it gives the watch and the Super titanium is amazing.
I just recently purchased citizen Fujitsubo and Seiko Prospex GMT in a week. My first impression on the fujitsubo was it felt cheap and less appealing. When my Prospex GMT arrived, I was totally mesmerized. But after a week of alternatively wearing both, and consistently staring at them, there is something in that fujitsubo that will capture your heart. It's hard to explain unless you have the fujitsubo in your hand. I tell you, that watch has something in it. Perhaps it's style and design and the color. It will magnetize you. Just but the fujitsubo and you won't regret it.
Seiko SPB143 actually has a hardened steel (Diashield coated) bezel NOT ceramic. It will scratch unlike a proper ceramic insert. Love the content keep up the great videos!

I'll never buy another watch with Seiko 6R35 movement. Accuracy is erratic and all over the place. That Citizen 9051 movement has an anti-magnetic hairspring that rated up to 16000A/m, and way more consistent and reliable.
For me the seiko is around 1k might as well get a grand seiko. I have had seikos in the past but felt it's where grand seiko where you get a nicer overall product, you just gotta save more be patient. People are gonna say I cant afford GS but can afford to buy a 1k diver lol .

Great review. I own both. I bought the Citizen as I wanted one for my collection. Out of the box the Citizen looks great but as you point out, overall the Seiko is just a better finished watch. The case finish on the Citizen is disappointing and the bezel action on the Citizen is truly awful by comparison. Such a shame as the dial and clasp are great. The Citizen is certainly no ‘Seiko killer!’ but still a worthy alternative.

SEIKO's 62MAS Heritage and compelling History is hard to reconcile and while it's made of SS and Ostensibly Heavier than the CITIZEN TITANIUM the proportions, the indices to hands ratio and the Case Architecture makes the 62 MAS appealing. Look, once you own a SEIKO, wear them, understand SEIKO's Provenance there is no turning back. Bro, SEIKO's Cases are Sculptured making even a big heavy watch contour to the wrist like a Plaster Mold - while CITIZEN, ROLEX, OMEGA all have SLAB-Like cases and their watches tend to seat on top of the wrist like a block of steel. 62MAS may be heavier but I can guarantee you comfort and wearability is by far superior than CITIZEN. Like I said, once you own a SEIKO DIVER you will forever be prejudiced. Nobody makes/designs/Sculpture watch cases like SEIKO. The SPECS on CITIZEN are impressive but 62MAS wearability, wrist presence and proportions is unmatched. Lastly, the CITIZEN mercedes hands and case design is so ROLEX SUBMARINERish vibes - a design that has been copied, cloned and counterfeited by countless mass production watch makers. 62 MAS has ORIGINALITY. CITIZEN while reviewed by itself looks GREAT but once juxtaposed next to the 62MAS that's where the fallacy becomes apparent. 62MAS IS THE GOAT HANDS DOWN. SEIKO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. The only CITIZEN that can go Toe-to-Toe, Blow-for-Blow with a SEIKO is the CITIZEN NY0040 MILITARE.. Other than that SEIKO WATCHES RULE THE DAY.

I'll take the Citizen. Mine it's running at +/-2 / day. The Seiko can't handle that. Citizen is gorgeous. it's Spartan.
The citizen is also Titanium which is much more expensive and much more difficult to finish. Titanium on luxury watches can double or triple the price
