I wouldn't have believed my squeaking problem was because I had a screw loose! One screw was loose a little and another was very loose. Thank you for solving my problem!

How do you open it? What about the spring?
Screws on the bottom. The spring just sits in place.
Even if it does come off, its really easy to just put it back in the groove
