    I know this is an old video, but I just bought one of these, 1950 Styline Deluxe sedan. It's already been stripped down under the engine compartment. Can't wait to get my hands on that car and start bringing it back to life.

    It's nice to see this side of Lucky no sponsors getting shoved down your throat and no agreements needing to be met.

    My stove bolt is f’d, not going to be a cheap rebuild, wondering if I use a 350 I have with trans from a 70 monte is there a drive shaft that will mate to a newer trans and also original diff or does the entire drive train need to be replaced?

    So, the LS for the C10 will be turbocharged? Or that exhaust manifold isn't what it meant to have?

    • @donaldpowers5557

      Mike Berg I was 17 moved everything over to the club coupe.rear had no idea of gears or any thing racy....6 months latter job a job and pretty much parked it but it was fun to drive never raced it and I learned about stopping when the old 57 IMPERIAL I was approaching a T in the road and hit the breaks and they failed.
      hit the emergency brakes got it slowed down enough to turn ...no more pushing.....and no drivers licence..to boot.....I wish I had pictures...it was flat black premiered look good with those 9:50 15s on the back .....back in 68 out in the country...not a lot of information available......but some how I PUT 3 ft long LADDER BARS on it out of 3x3 box tubing....no wheel hoop, it would cut ruts on the gravel road where my folks lived. but the next car please Google this one I had a white 1960 Dodge MATADOR 2dr ht..friends called it the bat mobile...replaced the 361 with a 1961 Chrysler YORKER GOLDEN LION 413. it was a lot more fun
      thanks for the reply as you can Imagine I'm a mopar fan even got to order a 71 hemi cuda , oh what memories could of been shared...

    Lucky, Is the frame design/quality of a 50's vintage vehicle an issue that needs to be addressed when you add that much more horsepower & torque? I am talking about a solid example of a west coast car and not the rust-n-dust example from the snow belt. Would you consider additional bracing?

    • @luckysgarageshow
      @luckysgarageshow  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      TechNWRO TE good question. These are some pretty solid cars and as long as you don’t cut them up to much I think there fine with 350ish hp.
      I’m sure there good for more but there so heavy why go crazy.
      Brake upgrade, V8 , auto w/overdrive new rear differential = fun Driver
      Thanks for watchin
