Mayra, when I had my miscarriage I remember being deep in my grief and thinking a girl I had just ended a friendship with a month prior, had put a curse on me for me to lose my baby. I was literally so stuck on that idea that when I became pregnant with my rainbow, I wouldn’t even walk past her apartment building when I would go on walks because I thought she’d put another curse on me. I wore a necklace with the blue eye to protect me against her ojo. Of course, once I had my daughter I realized how actually silly that was of me to believe and it really just showed me that when you are grieving, your mind can make you truly believe crazy things.

Completely agree!! It’s like your mind is trying so hard to find a reason ANY reason why it happened. I’ve had some crazy ish go through my head after having my miscarriages(9 in 8 yrs). And I’m not really superstitious even though I’m Mexican. Grief is so dang complex. Sending love to y’all! ❤ I’m sorry for your loss. 💔

That’s another thing not talked about when you lose a baby whether it be an early miscarriage or later in pregnancy or if they come premature, your body still goes through all the same process with hormones that it would if you had just given birth and everything went “normal”. I even started lactating after one of my losses. It was jarring because I never even got to hold her. PPDepression and/or anxiety are a beast! ❤️🩹
Girl I was born in Mexico and I was brought to the US when I was about to turn 4years old. A few months before moving my mom went across the street to the neighbors house to use their house phone because my grandparents were calling. I remember trying to follow her and when I tried crossing the street the dirt road started changing into a river of blood. I looked up to look both ways I see a canoe filled with little kids and the La muerte approaching. La muerte uses it’s finger telling me to go in but I never made eye contact because I was so shocked and scared. All I remember is staring at the little kids in the canoe crying and hugging each other. I closed my eyes and ran straight across and when I reached the other sidewalk and looked back everything disappeared. I told this story to my mom when I was about 12 years old and she said I always told her this same story but never believed me because I was so little. She also mentioned that that year a lot of little kids went missing from that neighborhood. I remember this so vividly and it gives me chills when I talk about it.

This is one of my favorite podcast episodes! Bring your parents on here so they can tell their stories! As far as talking about the "ojo" bracelets in Christianity/ Catholicism it is considered witch craft. Bc you're calling on protection that isn't from God. As far as having gifts I have the gift of discernment and I follow my intuition ( bc when I don't things go wrong). For example when first meeting someone I can instantly tell if they're a genuine person, my friends think I'm crazy. But I'm never wrong. Another thing is I say something is going to happen and it does. My moms gift is wild because she dreams about people right before they're going to die.
My mom is similar she’s a medium that sees things in her dreams and will see spirits in front of her and hear their whispers telling her things for others. All good things most of the time but only the bad shows up in her dreams
i’m catholic and the same thing happens to me. i dream things before they happen. i remember i dreamed about a random place i had never been to (which was the pueblo my parents are from in mx) i had never been and had never seen pics either bc i was never interested in it (my parents would take pics when they’d go but i wouldn’t care to see it). but basically i had dreamed about being on a street ig where i was just surrounded by mountains but anyways i thought nothing of it, until some time later my family and i go to mx (this was my first time going) and i’m walking in the exact same place and seeing everything i had seen in my dream, and it was so shocking when i realized bc i was like oh 💩 cause it was exactly like my dream. and i always have these dreams, but now i also have feelings, like randomly i’ll know when things will happen to me or my parents/ siblings or things that’ll happen that day or week. and i also know when ppl in my family are gonna die, if i know the person and i’m close to them or i was once close to them, i’ll have these “feelings” or i’ll basically have this gut feeling, for a few days and i just unfortunately know when someone’s gonna pass away. but it’s crazy how some of us really know these things and i’m like am i psychic or something lol

The part about the ocean caught my attention the way I’ve heard it is..
If your baby isn’t baptized and you take them to places with water such as the beach when you leave you need to call them by their name so that their spirit can come back to their bodies.
Since it’s said to be endless and it’s carrying all the energy of people who visit. Their souls get lost in the water.
It’s scary for me as a mom I wouldn’t take my kids but it’s things generations bring into family’s that it’s either you believe it or not.

Wow I'm Hispanic too and everything you are saying is so true. We grew up to do the ojo with the egg and susto with the white candle. It has helped and I still do it for my godsons. We are of the Catholic faith and also have the priest or Deacon come and bless our home because of experiences we have. We grew up with this! From generation after generation in our family we have also known about the energy of running water. When I had my kids I was always told not to take them near large bodies of running water or if we do we have to make sure the baby is awake and not sleeping. We would have to wake the baby. This is so crazy how similar all these things are! My mom even predicted my pregnancy and the gender in her dreams!

I’m a catholic and the egg cleansing is like doing brujería wearing the ojo thing is too. Anyone who is interested can look it up. Doing stuff like that can damage your spiritual life. I personally didn’t know this till recently but now that I do I’m so glad; and now I just get as far away from that and focus on what is truly catholic.

Girl yes, my entire childhood I would see shadow ghost everyday and my mom would pass it as “oh it’s your grandpa who passed away he’s protecting you” I think to not have me freak out. One night I went to bed my sister was already asleep and I close the door to the room and I see a ghost get up from my bed and sit at the foot of it. I’ve heard people say when you’re truly scared you can’t even scream or move. That was me I just stood there watching it and bc it was late I didn’t wanna wake anyone up I just went to bed and closed my eyes and prayed to god to make it go away. I didn’t wanna open my eyes in fear of seeing it again. I kept hearing gibberish all night, I tried to convince myself that I was making it up and to just go to sleep like it’s fine it’s fine, I didn’t sleep that night.
The meaning for the red bracelet:
Sometimes people look at you with envy or malicious thoughts (evil eye) the red bracelet takes that away because it’s so bright it’ll be the first thing people notice before they look at you. So all those negative thoughts will go directly to the bracelet instead of you. (:

My whole life I've been able to see and hear things. I have a lot of crazy stories I've been through. I've seen full body apparitions, shadows, orbs, whispers. My bed shakes. Feeling touched. I have a gift. Both a blessing and a curse you def could say. That desk you talked about is super creepy. Omg I can't imagine my lil sibling laughing and talking to nothing there. Then that pig squeal HECK NO girl.
As a Hispanic I know what your talking about. As a child my mom was very into that brujería shit bc she always swore someone was doing something to her. She would get limpias and put candles all the time and the card reading and it was just so weird but normal for me to see. I grew up feeling things around me, I grew up seeing people sitting staring at us all dressed In white for a split second when I would turn somewhere to look. I would always feel something heavy on top of me when I would go to sleep. Almost like you had a body on top of you. And once I was sleeping and I woke up to my crayon box under my bed flipping and making my crayons all crash together against plastic (I was mortified and fell asleep praying to my angel de La guardia) lol. Point is I grew up and met this lady through my husband que es una obradora, she prays and looks out for you but its all for FREE. She believes god gave her her gift to genuinely help and not making a living out of it (making a living out it is when things go wrong and it’s considered which craft, god doesn’t want you charging over a free gift he gave you to help others) anyways when I met her she explained to me that basically doing anything to prevent bad spirits from getting to you is basically inviting them. There’s NOTHING A GOOD PRAYER AND FAITH TO GOD COULD HURT US. You think god is going to allow something to hurt you? Things we go through in life are lessons and preparation for a better life. God didn’t bring us to this world to suffer, he brought us here to live life to help others to make a difference no matter what it is. He gave us all gifts and he wants us to use them for good, but some people rather believe all the bad than have faith to god. Some of us are more in tune with our gift than others and some can dream about the future and have dejavú, some can talk to god, some can feel what’s going to happen, but the thing is that we all have those gifts, it’s just what’s your purpose to use them and are you aware enough to control those gifts. Of course there’s bad, as above so below. But the bad feeds off fear, and if you feel fear then pray to god and ask him to take over, put up white candles or even those Mexican Jesus ones. Pray with all your heart and when you feel something you speak to it like you have gods power with your voice and you demand it to leave and that god will be watching and will be protecting and you will not allow it to affect you or your family. Ever since I met that lady I really changed my thinking on brujería. My mom still a big person who believes. But I tell her it’s all energy. You decide which one you attract. No one’s envidia or bad wishes can hurt you, bc it works like a mirror what they wish you bounces back on them.
Some may disagree but it’s something that really brought peace and happiness to my life, accept god and surrender to him. It’ll bring the best part of your life out!! 🤍

KARINA! I had to pause the video when you started talking about the warehouse cause GORLL it reminded me of my incident.. I'd always hear stuff in front of my front door like pounding at night and my entryway/porch area to my home is pretty big so someone could hide there and my neighbors prolly wouldnt see em.. well anyway I put cameras and my doorbell camera told me at 3AM that there was a person detected at my front door. I got the notification to my phone and my heart fell damn near out my ass. I was so scared to look at the live footage but I was like no I gotta look. mind you I'm in my room in the dark.. I clicked on the live cam and my light to my entryway dimmed so oddly and the noises were so weird I just couldn't even watch anymore. so when you told your story I got goosebumps THE HOUSE 🤣🤣 I've always been told something is probably following me house to house because I've always had crap like this happen to me. 😫

My dad passed away on July 15,2021 and a few weeks later I had a dream of my dad on the road. He was pacing back and forth and he looked so worried and sad. I could only see him and not what was around me. However, I could hear someone yelling “se Murio” over and over. Then my dad looks at me and mumbles…I wake up. A few days later I get a call that my brother had an accident on a motorcycle and died on impact. I saw it. My dad tried to warm be but I strongly believed god didn’t let him reveal to me who was going to die because it was his destiny. That has haunt me since then. It will forever haunt me 😢

When you guys are speaking about the water and babies and energy I’ve heard of it by my mom aunts and others where if you go to like the beach or drive by a big opened body of water (specially if your baby is sleeping) either out loud or in your head you’re supposed to say your babies name and say “vente vámonos “ “ya nos vamos vente no te quedes” so your babies soul won’t wonder and stay in the body of water and if it does happen your baby ends up just always crying and crying for no aparent reason and that’s because your babies soul isn’t with him 😅😮

Hi everyone!!! Well I've experienced alot of things here and in Mexico but nothing I've evil or scary ... specially on el dia de los Muertos because I turn on candles for all my muertitos friends and family. I've actually seen my family members as ghosts .
hey y’all just wanted to come out here and tell y’all a scary situation that happened to me. (to sum it up) Not to long ago there was a fair near where I live, and my family decided it was a good idea to go, but before we went my parents took my brothers and I to do some errands. The whole time we were there my stomach hurt so bad, it almost felt like I had a very bad cramp (iykyk). Then we left the store and went to my tias house to ask if she was going to the fair. She decided to go since she wanted to take our little cousin, but I DID NOT want to go because of my stomach pain, i kept on telling them that I didn’t want to go (it was that bad). But they insisted so by the time we arrived and walked my stomach pain was very minimal and went completely away after my brothers and I went on rides. It was around 9:00 pm when my little cousin and my little brother were going on their last ride. Since the line was so long my dad, mom, my other little brother and I went to this store near the fair. When we were going back to the fair we noticed that there were police blocking the area where you entered the fair, so you couldn’t go back in. Since we were next to these ppl making hotdogs and we had to wait for my tia, tio, cousin, and my little brother my dad said f it and ordered one, but as the lady was preparing it we heard 3 gunshots near us! Later turns out that the gunshots came from a McDonald’s not to far away from us since it was inside the shopping center (the fair was a street fair). We heard that a man got shot and got rushed to the hospital (he survived).Thank God my whole family was safe but what made me sad and low-key traumatized was seeing all those ppl panic not knowing where there family were. 😔 My family later pointed out how I kept on telling them not to go because of my stomach pain, they think it was a message from my angels or something like that telling me not to go. After this and many other experiences I truly believe in my sixth sense and intuition, that gut feeling (literally). Like you guys said everyone has that gift you just need to believe! Btw amazing video hope y’all have/had a beautiful day!!! 😊
I believe kids do see things, my son told me he saw my uncle who passed away. He was outside my car window & was wearing his white suit he was wearing for his funeral 🥹🥹 my heart!! The day after he told me he saw him again walking 🕯
I personally wear the evil eye 🧿 bracelet and i also have one for my baby. I believe it in. People’s energy is real and i feel like it protects my daughter from just people looking at her and wanting to hold her or do something to her.

Also when my son was a baby my mother in law told me about it before we left to visit my grandparents cause on our way to their house there’s area of water… what she told me was if you pass over water or by water and your baby isn’t baptized yet you have to say a saying the whole time to protect them until you pass it.

I grew up catholic and I’m not longer religious/ believe in god but 100% believe in energies and negative energy is reaaall. I wear my ojo bracelets and have gotten egg cleanse before when they vibe is off.
I never usually comment but for this podcast I had too! I wear my ojo bracelet and 10000% have a relationship with god and pray everyday for me and my family be protected. I have had bad experiences with people giving the evil eye or jealously in my opinion and this was all happening at work I decided to get me a bracelet and I kid you not things got better from the point on. I almost felt a sense of relief so now I wear it everyday to protect me . Truly I don’t believe it’s inviting those bad spirits in I think it’s just a personal take on it but jealousy will do so much on a person and I feel a sense of security with it.

When karina started talking about seeing a picture on tv of a lady smiling on a mugshot and she started crying and acting weird 😭 I literally thought of the movie smile and then y’all started talking about the movie smile later on omg !😭😂🫣
When I was younger and my brother was a newborn any time we would go over a bridge or around a big body of water and my baby brother was sleeping my mom would all make us say “Pedrito (my brothers name) no te quedes, vamonons. Pedrito no te quedes, vamonos”
We would do it so often that it just became a norm and that thought didn’t get brought up till Karina started talking about water having energy!!
One time during fire season back in 2017 when school was canceled for like 3 weeks, my parents would work so me and my little sister & brother would mostly chill in my room and watch movies. On this particular day I’d like to say it was afternoon around 4pm ish, super windy outside we can hear the wind outside and the trees rustling, only reason I know im not crazy is cause my sister saw it too.. basically the roof of the house.. it slid to the side and for a split second we could see the bright red Smokey skies with a fierce wind.. we saw the outside.. it was the craziest shit I ever seen and I still can’t explain it… my little brother didn’t see he was so focused on the tv.. but to this day Im just like wtf…
When I was a kid I had this cousin who committed suicide, her name was Darliss and my cousins have always had a good bond with my mom who is their aunt, we had just moved to North Dakota from South Dakota and one night my little brother went upstairs to use the bathroom and get more of his toys when all of a sudden he started screaming, my mom ran up stairs and asked what was wrong and he said he seen someone come out of the bathtub with huge wings and they were wearing a dark hoodie, he couldn't see their face but she was shook up and literally a few minutes later our home phone rang and my older sister who was in the kitchen yelled for my mom and told her that my cousin had committed suicide and they were rushing her to the hospital, I will never forget the sound my mom mad when she ran back down the stairs, it was heartbreak to hear. We ended traveling back down to South Dakota for her funeral services and I remember my mom and sisters were in charge of cooking and getting food out to our relatives who showed up, it was the last night of her wake and I remember that people started freaking out and we didn't know why, a man that no one knew pulled up in a nice pickup, he had on a cowboy hat and a long black trench coat, the people that seen him said the spurs on his cowboy boots were loud, he scared the people and the kids that saw him, no one knew who he was, he walked right up to my cousins casket and leaned over her, no one knew what he was doing after he was done leaning over he got up and walked out. A few people went out and tried to find him but when they asked the people outside if they seen him, they said that no one had come out. When they checked on my cousins body after he left there was tears coming from her eyes. That story will always stick me with me. Completely horrifying.

Personally I have worn mine twice around certain people and with the SAME people the bracelets broke twice🫣 ANYWAYSSS weird but true fact Everytime I have a dream I can see vividly in my dream whenever there will be a death in our family or sometimes when I’m in Mexico I vividly have dreams of people passing away the next day and after I wake up I was never wrong I was always right about the deaths in my family or peoples family members around me. I have so many real life scary stories if anyone wants to read!
To start off, my house is over 50 years old and my great grandmother was the first person to live here and when she died, she gave us this house. Many paranormal things have occured over the 25 years we've lived here. I have only seen a ghost one time but one time was enough for me! I was around the age of 7 and was getting out of the shower and I turned to head down the hall to my room and in the hallway, I saw my great grandmother. From the pictures I had seen of her, it resembled her to a T. Poofy curly short hair, a beaded necklace, and she was wearing an apron because she loved to cook. I was so scared, that I ran right through her! Another instance I had just a few years ago, I was the only person home and I was in my room and all the sudden I heard my garage door (that enters the kitchen) slam shut when it was already closed. I thought someone was home and mad but nobody was home. That same day when I was in the shower, I heard my mom say that she's home like she always does and for a good 20 mins I thought she was home and when I went into the kitchen to say hi, her purse wasn't there and nobody was home. I called her to ask if she came home and she said no. Another experience I had was when I had someone friends over to spend the night. We were in the family room and they had both fell asleep. Mind you this is around 2:00 am. I was laying on the couch trying to sleep and all the sudden I heard footsteps walking towards me and I thought they would reach the couch eventually but the footsteps were continuous. I was so scared that I didn't even want to turn around until I had fallen asleep and woke up the next morning. That was one of the scariest moments of my life. Okay one last story and this one is a peaceful one! So may grandfather died when I was 4. To him, I was his world. Fast forward to today, for the past few years, when I am laying in bed, every so often I will feel like someone is touching my head. You know the feeling when someone is just barely touching you but you know it's happening? Well that's what happens to me. I feel a sense of comfort when this happens and I truly believe it's him. I truly believe that my past relatives "haunt" my house and i do feel protected from any bad entities. My grandmother recently passed away and ever since, the activity has really dwindled. It's sorta like my relatives were waiting for her so that they can all move on. These were just a few of the many instances that have occured in my life. I hope you enjoyed :)

I'm with Mayra, I'm really REALLY good at knowing someone is pregnant. With famous people, I get shocked the most but I think it's because they make an actual announcement at some point.
Also, random things from conversations, to events, all random not like I can meditate and bam. Just random things that come to me, idk why.
I 100% am pro for wearing a red bracelet. It really does protect you from evil eye. Also , I typically do the egg cleanse if and when I get scared or something traumatic happens to me. Now if your having back to back bad luck.. I would recommend to shower with ruda . That helps to get rid of bad energy.

Honestly I am a Christian too and about the red bracelet thing I don’t find it to actually protect you that’s almost like one basically saying that God is not protecting you but an object on your wrist is protecting you that’s just how I see it it’s like you’re giving power to an object I find it to be idolatry
I love this episode ❤ You guys should do part 2 of scary story times. I experience stuff when I was younger with La Llorona I had to go to church and have then pray for me I was bad . Thankfully I’m better now but I am very sensitive now to things . I do believe in the Ojo bracelet my kids and myself wear them.

I believe it’s definitely gifted or intuitive because I have always been the same as Mayra. Buttt when I have struggled with my anxiety or depression especially postpartum, I get so scared that someone will break in or something and it doesn’t happen (thankfully 😅lol) but I have had dream about someone being pregnant and then it happens etc. definitely a gift!
