I moved into my house 14 years ago and it had a Japanese Maple. It looked like it had never been pruned and the tree was not looking good . About the second fall I lived in the house I got underneath the tree and pulled all the dead branches off just like you did to this one. It bloomed so much better the next spring. Each year I just do a little pruning and try to remove as much dead leaves as I can. This weekend I'll get out and do it again to make the tree healthy for next spring. Great video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Robert, Nolan asked you if you can use the moss from the tree. I didn't hear your answer. I think you told me before that I should only use moss that is NOT growing on a tree. Is that correct?

Great job guys, you made that tree very very happy. Now we can see it’s full potential. Thank you.
Watching you guys reminds me of the days when my brothers and I would work with my dad at his sign business. ☺

@@scoldeddogproduction happy to share! Glad to hear you've been providing the right maintenance. We love upgrading maple trees.
Amazing job! I would like to see a follow-up of this tree next year!🤩

@@The1superrussell it depends on what the purpose of the moss is. If it's for bonsai decoration, we don't recommend it because it's too dry.
Just saw a video of someone using a hedge trimmer to turn a Japanese maple into a sphere. It was painful to watch!
@@AlecShernAPS that'd make a good horror film.
