You are the sole reason I ended up getting a shipping container myself from watching you videos. It’s nice to have a “vault” to keep your prized possessions. Thank you for that and I’m glad you got your quad back. It’s a nightmare I have dreamt many of times. Fortunately I’ve been lucky with not having anything stolen but I’m always vigilant and take every necessary precaution (locks, security cameras, firearms, etc)

So awesome you got it back even with the issues! I had a yfz stolen from me about 8 years ago and was able to track it down within about 24 hours and police recovered it. Went to court and kid who stole it had to buy the quad for $1000 more than what it was worth since he wanted it so bad or spend time in jail with felony theft charges lol

I had a 2001 honda rancher when i was 15 I won the quad on a ticket from my local sportmans's club and the quad got stolen from my parents house. Got a new quad so 8 months or so go buy neve thought i would see the rancher again until one day me and my friends were riding and we went into a spot that we never go into and we see a quad hidden under some branches and stuff and it was my freaking quad. It had mice living in it it was hot wired the screen was busted seat was ruined tires were shot but we towed it back to my house and got it running a couple hours later. So glad you ended up getting your quad back it's crazy how stuff just works out in the end Matt.
My brother and me found 2 quads stashed out in the woods when we were kids. I never forgot, they were just blasters but still. That's cool u got it back tho
It makes for a good story atleast. And yeah bikes are usually never seen again. Had they of spent $100 on new graphics I wouldn't have chased them down

Had a friends 89 cr250 stolen from my house years ago. Made it worse knowing it wasn’t my bike that got stolen. Never found it or thief. My friend just got done doing a oem restoration on it maybe 4 months before it was stolen. I talked him into going to southern Ohio riding that weekend it happened. Due to him restoring it he didn’t want to tear it up understandable imo so I let him ride my wife’s 06 yfz450 for the weekend. I felt horrible and still do! Only thing stolen from me. So now I keep everything in my house lol! 4 dirty bikes and 3 quads. (Crf50, crf150r, rmz250, kx250f, blaster, trx450r and a kfx450) my wife hates me!!
Any disassembled bikes I keep in my downstairs. All the future builds that are already powder coated or parts still in the box. Idk bro I think I let it get too out of hand. I had like 30 quads here when that was stolen.
I had a 04 400ex stolen from me. I still am not over it to this day!!!!!!! I worked hard to buy that machine just for someone to take it. I just paid it off so I didn't have insurance. So I ended up with nothing!!!!!

that is a reason when u buy a moto cross bike or a quad always check vins even doh u can't check if its stolen... just act like u checked it and know. cause in france to see if its stolen, you gotta call the cops and even then they dont like to tell you. or have a buddy who has connection to check history for road legal quad its easy you can print a report if its reported stolen or anything but without papers its hard... but i must admit i didnt check vin on most things i bought... but i resold most of them also. you legaly most registeren any bike quad etc at the dvm (i think u call it in usa) but nobody does that...
I don't buy any bikes without papers and still run the vin. Good point tho if your buying one without papers. Here where I live u can register and insure them but it's still not "legal" to just go ride. I just stay off the street as much as I can

Yes I did I had mine stolen it was a 450 Yamaha YFZ reporter is stolen that was in May July 15th is when I seen the vehicle coming down the road in the street doing wheelies and acting crazy so I followed them just like you did but I was in my pickup truck waited till they stopped pull up my truck in front of my bike jumped out and told him you stole my vehicle he got off the bike I showed him proof that the bike was stolen and I put it back on my truck back axle bent handlebars bent seat torn plastics on the front cracked on the left side fender both headlights are broken it was a happy day but a shity day but it all came to an end this is how they act in North Cadillacy North Carolina that is

I don’t know if I told you before, I had a 1974 or 1975 Yamaha 250 had a magazine that I got it had the serial numbers in the article they matched the bike I got well anyway I had my brand new yz80 and the 250 right next to each other and the 250 was stolen, I thought that was odd as fuck why not steal a brand new one right, it had to be someone who knew me that stole it, who knows maybe one day we be reunited if it’s not been busted up and end end up in a pond or something crazy.

im the same way . i dont care and will stop at NOTHING to find who was involved in taking my stuff . in 07 i had a brute force on a 6inch gorilla axel lift on 28inch outlaws get stollen . last year i figured out the whole story of how it happened . a so called friend was getting paid to rebuild it for me , he was moving and dropped it off at somebodys house who i knew of . but wasnt friends with , he was . well my buddy was the kind who would say stuff they were using was his . he owed some money for drugs to his buddy who sold MY bike to a crack head . last year the dude whos house it went missing from had to buy 4 new tires for some reason and last month at the local car show again .

But I’m a pretty good judge of character and u can tell u work for what u have and never been handed stuff. A lot of these punk lazy hood rats don’t wanna work for what they want. Had a yamaha banshee and a 400ex and a ltz400 and a raptor 90 taken raptor 90 was in the dich up the road we want balls to the wall had the ltz400 back the next day because they flat towed all of them and the ltz broke off and they left it about 20 minutes from me and to pay a tow bill to get that out then the next day we had a reward up and some hood rat got a hold of us said I know we're the banshee and 400ex are long story short about 10 of us in lifted trucks are in the hood now and got both back so 48hrs we had all the quads back banshee motor was done and the 400ex the tires were almost off the wheels and oil all over all because to lowes drivers that deliver set of windows to my house they have your address and seen the quad and truned to the hood to steal them and they get a cut when sold off is how that work the cops said crazy but glad you got the raptor back that shit never happens
That's the issue around here too. The Amazon drivers are all from the hood and drive all over looking at people's stuff. Not saying all of them do but....

Is that the raptor 700 that you made a video on installing the Alba a arms? Was all the parts you installed still on it?
Had a yamaha banshee and a 400ex and a ltz400 and a raptor 90 taken raptor 90 was in the dich up the road we want balls to the wall had the ltz400 back the next day because they flat towed all of them and the ltz broke off and they left it about 20 minutes from me and to pay a tow bill to get that out then the next day we had a reward up and some hood rat got a hold of us said I know we're the banshee and 400ex are long story short about 10 of us in lifted trucks are in the hood now and got both back so 48hrs we had all the quads back banshee motor was done and the 400ex the tires were almost off the wheels and oil all over all because to lowes drivers that deliver set of windows to my house they have your address and seen the quad and truned to the hood to steal them and they get a cut when sold off is how that work the cops said crazy but glad you got the raptor back that shit never happens
That's the issue around here too. The Amazon drivers are all from the hood and drive all over looking at people's stuff. Not saying all of them do but....
