Could you please let me know if there is a rear passenger foot peg that is folding, which fits into the slot on the portola? There is a 10 or 12 mm dia hole which is not threaded. So I am thinking of some washer/ locknut kind of set up.
I have the Cafe Cruiser, which I love, but would like to upgrade to the KD218 display but can’t quite figure out if it’s compatible. Ride1Up’s website states the display is only for the 700 series. I’m hoping since the CC is a newer model they just haven’t updated their website to include it’s compatibility. There is one user comment on their website which includes an issue with the not being able to access the setup screen and trip meter count continuing when bike is stationary so I just wanted to be sure purchasing wasn’t going to cause electronic issues with the bike. The 700 series and Cafe Cruiser have similar features with the integrated battery so I’m hoping this display is an option for the cruiser. I’ve watched several of your videos prior to and post-purchase of my e-bike and you do a great job explaining the features and assembly! Thank you!
Glad we could help! Give Ride1Up a call. They are a small company and very hands on. They will probably have the information about the controller for you. -JT
Has anyone had any trouble with tires popping on this? There were several reviews on their site about that. It’s a good beautiful bike but if I have to worry about flats, that’s not good.
Tire wall says to inflate to 35 BUT with a 180lbs rider and a 30lbs rear passenger the tires look flat. Currently running 37psi and it helps with the slushy feeling you get.

@EbikeEscape I don't see a link to that front basket

Mind telling me the name of the passenger seat on your brothers from 1:08 - 1:15? They one with the back on it, because I have a 4 year old
+1 for the above question - what passenger seat (with backrest) is that?
Which crossbar works on the cafe cruiser stepthrough so you can put it on car bike carrier?
Any rear pannier recommendations? I’m looking for single quick release off/on bag. Mostly a grocery getter. TY

I want to know what your brother used for his passenger seat with the back?

Excellent rundown of accessories. Not sure about the alarm secured to the bike with zip ties :)
Ha, maybe that just shows you that we don't really have a problem with bike theft where we live :)
Love M.T.L Québec merci
Did he rise the handlebars?
Yes
I think I might do that to straighten my back a little more. What riser did he use?@@EbikeEscape
Not sure exactly but any off Amazon should work.

We personally have not. Seems like an odd problem to have.

What's a "way-gon?" Just joking. Great info, guys
Lots of them here in Wisconsin 😉
