Yesterdays game was the best fundamental game the Yankees have played all year. Great defensive plays, taking extra bases, executing sacrifice flys. I loved it. Maybe my favorite game of the year. Gotta be able to win games in other ways in the post season. Can’t live and die with judge and Soto homeruns every game.

I think Torres wanted to be a Yankee so bad he had a lot of pressure causing him to under perform. But now he knows it’s chalked and there’s no chance to return the pressure is off and he’s ballin
We absolutely are. As I commented in a previous video. We have the easiest two series. Rockies and nats. Oriels have dodgers and Astros, gaurduans should have had an easy series but lost a doubleheader to the royals
MAILBAG: If you think it’s a worthwhile topic, I’d like your view on whether 4/5 should be Wells/Stanton or vice versa or maybe something situational. A lot of factors in my head, DP pct, whiff/strikeout rate, better situational hitting with Soto and Judge on base.
If you add Burnes and get a serviceable 1st basemen whose healthy then they’ll compete for years. On Nestor’s start. An out is an out. He worked 6 and 2/3 with 91 pitches. Saves the bullpen and gave a quality start. What else do you want from him honestly. He isn’t a big time strikeout pitcher. He did exactly what a 5th starter does. Give length and a quality start.
American Psycho! The movie was ok, book was way better but really disgusting. In fact it was an abomination as Gary might say. I feel like Aaron Boone is the kid left alone and Clay Holmes is the hot stove in Gary's "touch the stove" story. Boone keeps going to him and getting burned but it just hasn't been painful enough yet for him to learn to stop doing it.
