Today I learned about Runick Bystial Light and Darkness Dragon
😭😭😭 I know the context, it makes no sense 😂😂😂😂 but it's always funny whenever I see it
Actually, if the spell added Atk and def, it COULD add extra negates, it just would have to be chain link 3 or higher.
Or be used after it ran out of attack.

Light and Darkness Dragon walked so that Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess could fly.
And now LADD Lord can teleport.
I mean these are very good extenders for the tachyon deck that can also fuse into LADD if you opened to many extenders
The new fusion + Tackyon & Hope sounds like a disgusting end board ngl
It also works very well with Dragonmaids
I wish you could choose what you negate tho.

Yup and it’s disgusting. Superpoly is already turbo strong and now you can get 3 omni negates out of it.

How is it a superpoly target if it needs specifically 1 light and 1 dark LEVEL 8 DRAGON MONSTERS.
It doesn't JUST say light and dark. The only time it is ever going to be summoned off super poly is if branded plays against a deck that naturally ends on a light level 8 dragon and a dark level 8 dragon. No other deck will run it just for super poly.
@@effluxi9587 actually it's the exact opposite. A Branded player using BraFu (Albaz + Bystial Lub line) walking into a Super Poly (their Branded Albion + fusion Lubellion) for 3 omni negates.

I'm struggling to even think of another deck that ends on the required materials. I'd say dragon link because of Lubellion but Savage dragon is banned so I don't even think it's hit.
I'm not familiar with Tempai, so that might be affected too.
But I still don't think it'll see use outside of in Branded against mostly itself.
Malefics should love the new end dragon retrains because they can set up banished ed monsters for Paradigm Dragon's weird summon effect
Light & Darkness Dragon chaos deck was the first deck I ever made
Not that it matters since it can’t give def, but the quick play could add more negates to the fusion since you could just use it as chain link 3 to something
You can make that dragon with Super Poly in the opponent's turn after making sure your board is at risk from being wiped out or when you must negate some plays from your opponent. I mean, you can remove cards from the opponent's field with Super Poly (if playing a lvl 8 light/dark dragon) and put this dragon as a cherry on top.
Yeah branded can do it easy, just need 3 cards: aluber, fusion deployment and a discard, then you go your standard mirrorjade line with the changes of dumping Albion the shrouded with granguignol effect and after you resolve all the end phase effects at the very end you just add branded in red to your hand with albion the branded, then you use it to grab the albion the shrouded and fusion summon with bystial lubellion on the field to Get access to the new darkness and light dragon and if im correct you can still add with the set branded lost any card since the new dragon cant negate it since it was never activated.
Why go through all these steps when you can just set Banishment, revive Branded Albion and fuse it with Bystial Lubellion for free on top of the regular combo?
Then if you get Branded in Red access or Albaz/Quem shenanigans, you can make Lubellion, fuse into Branded Albion to recycle it, then fuse your Albion and Lubellion back into this (or Titaniclad from MJ)
@@babrad because they way you say , it does work buuuut your are now in your opponent turn meaning you are now under call by the grave territory or even cross out on mirror matches, you may have a better board but many times just by being greedy on playing in your opponents turn you got ducked, but if you have it by your endboard on the first turn you already have a active mirrorjade, a mercurier on hand and 3 omninegates with other 2 cards from your remaining starting hand like do you really want to gamble that potential board on your opponents turn?
@@Dranhore if you can then sure, I was just saying that LADD doesn't require Deployment + BraFu.
Those counters you mention would apply to Branded in Red for Chimera anyway (along with Bystials) so my point is you don't lose anything more by going for LADD that way. But I agree, if you can end on it after all the end phase effects it's ideal

As far as I can tell, you can give it more negates by boosting its stats even if it's not spell speed 3 as long as it didn't have any negates left when you activated the boost?

Not today but in the future i could see some fusion centric dragon pile slapping it on an endboard for free
The restrictions are harsh and we wont be jumping through hoops to make it but if konami ever prints branded in red for dragons this goes kinda crazy

Branded fusion make albion with bystial lubellion,
effect albion make lubellion,
effect lubellion make mirrorjade,
effect bystial lubellion tributing albion set branded lost,
endphase effect set banishment,
opponents turn: activate banishment target albion fuse with bystial lubellion into LADDL
effect branded lost search mercourier.
Resulting board: Mirrorjade, branded lost, LADDL (3 negates), mercourier.
(Total card investment: aluber+1 discard; or similar)
Alternative lines that can make LADDL is via cartesia and branded in white; but these lines are less linear but often better as you don't have to commit the interaction with branded banishment.
Many strong lines possible with just bystial lubellion and branded in high spirits that end with LADDL and Mirrorjade.

@@e-tan3911yeah I was about to say, it's when any card effect is activated, including your own, so unless it's specifically spell speed 4 where BOTH players can't respond, then it'll negate it, that's why the armed dragon monster is spell speed 4
@@idkmyname6915 It is only negating the activation of spell/traps, not effects of spell/traps. So the effect of branded lost to search still resolves.
The Spell Card CAN give an extra negate to the Fusion Monster, because you can chain it to it’s activation and the Fusion says „once per chain“. Also you could activate it after it lost all of it’s Atk/Def, so it cannot negate anymore.
I knew this dude didnt read the Light End and Dark End dragon retrain effects properly. They banish from the EXTRA DECK.. meaning they are live turn 1. Bro's brain was off this video.

If u end on a cartesia, too. you can set in red, use it, and search with lost a shrouded. Cartesia use shrouded and lubellion to summon this.
If u want u can go for this card in your end phase with search in red and shrouded in your grave

Yup and we all know which deck will abuse this
Technically the OG Light and Darkness Dragon gets 5 negates (it has 2800 ATK, and loses 500 for each negate), but because new LADD lives in the extra deck it's a little more consistent than having to draw into a specific main deck card (even if the main deck one has a better effect).
Edit: Made a correction. I re-read OG LADD's effect. Technically not an omni-negate, as it only negates spell/trap activations and monster effects, so it can't negate continuous/field spell/traps.

You made one mistake or understood one thing wrong: For both level 8 dragons you need to banish a extra deck monster to special it. After the summon you can special the level 3 dragon and copy the level and Attribute of the banished monster. With the effect of the level 8 dragon you can then fusion summon the light and darkness dragon. So it's okay I think because any combination of the three cards gives you the fusion monster. Also you can revive the banished monster back with dis pater for example. That's a really great dragon link support in my opinion
You wouldn’t be able to summon the monster banished off of the light/dark end retrains off dis pater as it wasn’t properly summoned first

@@ManyTanks1 yeah you all are right. But anyways you can at least shuffle it back and draw one with regained for example. I like this Support a lot because you can fusion summon without polymerization and use your bricks on yoir hand for it since you dont even have to use the level 8 monster on the field for that.
Any combination of the 2 of the 3 main deck monster can get you to the new LADD, so it isn't that bad for a 3 omni (though it is mandatory so easy to exhaust it)
The attack boost on the level 3 is to prevent cases where enemy can just walk over your weakened LADD before they commit their important effect. The card is designed to avoid adding too much omni as forcing 4 negate when going second is going to suck. Also you can use this effect to chainblock whatever thing you are doing when you send it to GY, as it can't be responded at all
The quick spell is used for search, but also allow you to do some surprise via either its attack boost (again for avoiding getting walked over), or its target protection to insulate from opponent doing an imperm or quick effect destruction as new LADD is once per chain. So the other 2 effect has some use at least
Overall, I think these cards have potential. May be ok as a splashable engine for some level 8 dragon deck / 8 axis
I cant wait to run these with bystials. I mean the summon condition of light and dark end is absolutely free with branded regained up, or you can put the monster back next turn with nemeses corridor. Have yet to test it but in theory you should be able to end on the new LADD, thunderdragon colossus and dis pater
They're also level 8, meaning with the horus cards they can make number 38

LADD is one of my all time favourite cards. so I'm extremely happy with a retrain.
They kinda retrained Thunder King Rai-Oh with Thunder Dragon Colossus.
Now just need a Doomcal retain... Make it a R4 XYZ and not mandatory, job done.

How is it bad? Super easy to make in Branded and even in Dragon Link. Then as soon as the opponent deals with it you can use the rest of your board, or use them as CL3 when the opponent tries to cheat the "once per chain" restriction
Couldnt you branded fusion into lubellion the searing using saronir then dump bystial lubellion then searing into albion and then albion into it?
Why was Knight Armed Dragon not a Tuner...? Then I could use him with Eset or Nebthet to make LED or DED.

You just do the regular BraFu combo but instead of Red you set Banishment. Then you revive Albion from GY and fuse with Lubellion instead of the typical Red into Chimera line
not exactly, albion and lubellion can only fusion summon lvl 8 or lower fusion monsters. LADDL is lvl 10; there are lines that summon it with albion the shrouded dragon in grave and branded in white, or branded banishment at the end of the standard branded line with albion+bystial lubellion.
@@lmr4403 Branded Albion sets Red/Banishment that fusion for 8+, then on the opponent's turn you can go through both fusion Albion/Lubellion for a Furious/Dragostapelia play that Cartesia will turn into a 2nd LADD although it's a bit costly (ideally you need to start with Lubellion to shuffle back LADD since extra is so tight)

Yeah, sorry about this, Josh. Dark End Dragon retrain's effect is kinda worse than Dark End Dragon. This one forces you to choose between a Fusion Summon effect or a destruction effect, and the OG Dark End Dragon does not destroy a card, only send it to the Graveyard instead. The light End Dragon retrain, on the other hand, is maybe slightly better or about the same as OG Light End Dragon in terms of effects.
I remember seeing these cards on twitter and being like "meh, looks cool I guess" then saw someone quote-tweeting them saying "Dragonmaid support" and suddenly I was like 0.0

Activate Branded Fusion - send Albaz and Shrouded for Lubellion. Lubellion effect, chain branded in red, target shrouded in GY and make the L+D Dragonlord and Mirrorjade. 2 card combo
why LADD could do it only 4 times and not 5?
White Woods get even better because you have to be careful but you can use Forbidden Droplet and it will be almost as good as Master Piece in this deck.

Synchros was a 5ds thing. Don’t think Chazz would have got them in GX.
They were maindeck cards in the manga, but didn’t get printed until 5Ds era - so they retconned them into synchros when they decided to release them
the fact that glory doesnt have "neither player can respond" so L&D doesn't negate it its fucking stupid, I understand that they want you to use it as a respond to your opponent playing something as chain link3 but thats fucking DUMB

ladd fusion must be fusion summoned, shadows light only special summons. you cant summon ladd fusion with shadows light.
