    Not that I know anything, but my assumption would be that any interesting frequencies produced by the fault itself would be infrasonic.

    Haha!MM Pro sounds amazing just through the air, I found this on MM original, sometimes is a bit inconvenient cause I don't want to pick up the noise in the air though. Thanks for sharing, my favorite contact mic of all time!

    I’m curious if you’ve ever considered a geophone? The only one I know of that’s purposefully for field recordings would be the Lom but I know it’s very hard to get a hold of. I don’t know much about them, but do you own one or maybe know anything about them?

      I've seen these geophones but I've never had the opportunity to use one myself. It would be interesting to do a comparison.
