I have driven my friends one for a week. Its very difficult to get parking in roadside. Once I was charged twice.. since cedia is taking space of almost 1.5 times of a wagonr. that was the reason given by the parking guy. But i used to forget everything when I pressed the gas..
The problem with India's automotive market is lack of knowledge of cars. Buyers don't value their own money. Either they go with their emotions towards a brand or go with trends and end up buying an unreliable, overpriced, overrated car. That's why most of the cool VFM cars failed here.

I used to ride this car when in malaysia. My dad's colleague used to have it and we always used to travel hundreds of kms in this car. Boy I must tell you, it was a hell of an suv. In the years I've travelled it didn't break down not even once. How mitsubishi comes back to India

Lancer is the first dream car of every teenager(considering they know about cars and JDMs) There's a person that drops his child to a school and he has a Lancer! Yes that's literally a Lancer and everytime I see the car I'm like wow! The Lancer is the car that should've been in the Indian market, it would be the best performing, reliable sedan in its segment, if Mitsubishi creates a factory here and builds the Lancer in India itself then the price will be considerably low and would be extreme value for money performance sedan under 25-30 lakh range
My father owns Pajero sfx (2nd generation), and I can tell you this is a hidden gem. Even after 1 lakh + km on the ODO meter it still runs like a beast. I’m sad I can’t drive this car anymore because of the norms in NCR😞. But I’ll always love this car for the brutal power this offers after 3x rpm 😂.

Once i tried 1992 pajero, oh my god, what a suspension. I'm still amaged a 32 Years old car( older than my age😅) what a mitsubishi had built at that time, very durable and amazing car.
It was summer '09, on my way back from my maths tution at 9 in the morning, I saw a beautiful royal blue coloured SUV outside the house of the MP of our constituency (he is currently the leader of the opposition in LS, and a very popular figure). A guy was washing it and I stopped and kept looking till he finished. That was it. In 2023, I can still see the car every now and then and appreciate it, coz they don't make something like that anymore. You can add electric engine, bigger sunroof, bigger infotainment, more cupholders, stupid LEDs and RGB lights literally everywhere, but you still can't match the class of an old Pajero, first generation endeavour facelift, old Defender, Land Cruiser Prado, sonata EF 2001 facelift, or even a V6 X5.
Was saving up for a Pajero SFX but ended up buying XUV 300 because of its 300 nm torque considering I'll mostly be doing highway driving. It's not a disappointment but still would love to own a well maintained Pajero ome day
I still own a 2nd gen modified Pajero for off roading. Its capabilities never seize to amaze me. I once turtled it. We simply turned it back on its tyres using the wench of the 2nd car and it started in the first crank and we drove off again- without a scratch on its body 😂

Few years ago me and my family were travelling in a Pajero to Manali and on the way we had an accident where a truck hit our car at the back side where I and my sister were sitting at a very fast speed because its breaks failed, but I didn't even got any scratch just due to the build quality of Mitsubishi Pajero.. But the sad part is that we had to sell that car as it was having a huge bump from back😞

True that.. I have a Mitsubishi Galant 3.8 liters V6 and gives out about 300 bhp.. it’s a 2008 model but truly was ahead of its time and it does not give me much maintenance costs even after 180k Kms on its pro right now.. I have dragged V8 Chevy Impala and Lexus 430 in it and won every time ..

Actually I have a Mitsubishi Pajero, I bought it second hand.The car was pricey, fun and powerful, the Pajero looked like a Hulk and Toyota fortuner looked like a child in front of it, so there was no answer to it in off-roading, brother. But when the problem started, their service center was not very good, the servicing cost was very high, the car was beyond limits. This car was not as reliable as Toyota, there was always some issue And its parts were also not available quickly.It used to give less mileage, it used to give mileage of 7. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport have engine seize issue . I have told you what I faced, I have also told you what I know about it. Thank you 😅

I Own Pajero 2020 in Dubai, and trust me this is most reliable, economic and more competitive compare to land cruiser Prado and fortuner. Pajero is having 4x4 with 4low separate gears. Now the new pajero comes with more luxury having more feature than prado and fortuner

In my locality there is one black Montero. Owner is very rich guy, have multiple cars but his Montero always looks very clean and still looks like newer than is other suv and luxury cars. I think he give special attention to it.

I have spent my 6-7yrs in Kathmandu when my dad was in service there. So, as a child I saw the foreign specially Japanses brands and their SUVs like Toyota LC, Nissan Patrol, Mitsubishi Pajero, Isuzu SUVs, etc. But after 2002 when we completely moved to Calcutta (now Kolkata) in Higher secondary days, I loved the 2nd Gen Pajero SFX2800 for it's boxy, rugged and macho looks. Yes, the SUV was then a premium SUV in the market. I wished to buy but got discontinued in Indian market. I had previously also expressed that if any Indian manufacturer like M&M/Tata manufactures the Pajero 2nd Gen SFX2800 after getting license with modern engines, emissions norms & features then it can still run 2decades with defence and police and other sectors. It was a heavyduty machine meant. 😊 Tell me 1thing why Nissan came to rescue Mitsubishi in the mileage scam?
Indian mind is a misers mind , they want everything including mileage. And Suzuki capitalised on it. My friend had one Pajero , it gave 6-8 kms of mileage but it's power on long trips was just a class in itself.
In Bangladesh's perspective, Mitsubishi is a great brand. If you search some more, you will find that most of the Govt officials use Mitsubishi Pajero 3rd and 4th gen till now. Currently the higher officials are getting Pajero Sports 2nd and 3rd gen which is replacing the older ones. It is only possible because Bangladesh Govt made a deal with Mitsubishi that they will use their cars as Govt vehicle but the assembly must be inside Bangladesh and it would be branded as "Mitsubishi Progoti". This enables us Bangladeshis to buy Mitsubishi for lower price. However imported ones can also be seen.
Old Pajero has a killer looks, the front bumper grills, the rear ladder, the rear mirror mounted on spoiler, the huge spare wheel on tailgate, the colour combination...still eyes gets fixed whenever a Pajero rides on road.

I owned a 1998 model (imported by a English company) Then bought a new one in 2010. I'd have used the cars even today had the NGT not banned it. They never ran above designated pollution norms.

In my locality there is one black Montero. Owner is very rich guy, have multiple cars but his Montero always looks very clean and still looks like newer than is other suv and luxury cars. I think he give special attention to it.

I have spent my 6-7yrs in Kathmandu when my dad was in service there. So, as a child I saw the foreign specially Japanses brands and their SUVs like Toyota LC, Nissan Patrol, Mitsubishi Pajero, Isuzu SUVs, etc. But after 2002 when we completely moved to Calcutta (now Kolkata) in Higher secondary days, I loved the 2nd Gen Pajero SFX2800 for it's boxy, rugged and macho looks. Yes, the SUV was then a premium SUV in the market. I wished to buy but got discontinued in Indian market. I had previously also expressed that if any Indian manufacturer like M&M/Tata manufactures the Pajero 2nd Gen SFX2800 after getting license with modern engines, emissions norms & features then it can still run 2decades with defence and police and other sectors. It was a heavyduty machine meant. 😊

Indian mind is a misers mind , they want everything including mileage. And Suzuki capitalised on it. My friend had one Pajero , it gave 6-8 kms of mileage but it's power on long trips was just a class in itself.

In Bangladesh's perspective, Mitsubishi is a great brand. If you search some more, you will find that most of the Govt officials use Mitsubishi Pajero 3rd and 4th gen till now. Currently the higher officials are getting Pajero Sports 2nd and 3rd gen which is replacing the older ones. It is only possible because Bangladesh Govt made a deal with Mitsubishi that they will use their cars as Govt vehicle but the assembly must be inside Bangladesh and it would be branded as "Mitsubishi Progoti". This enables us Bangladeshis to buy Mitsubishi for lower price. However imported ones can also be seen.
Old Pajero has a killer looks, the front bumper grills, the rear ladder, the rear mirror mounted on spoiler, the huge spare wheel on tailgate, the colour combination...still eyes gets fixed whenever a Pajero rides on road.
